I saw Patty at the Birchmere in Alexandria, VA many years ago when she was first coming up and instantly fell in love. Never missed a show when she came to the DC area, and spent my share of money buying her CD's. As she is no longer touring, I was pleased to see her do a couple of songs (via internet) with Chris Stapleton. not too many months ago. I have a few favorite female country singers, but Patty remains at the top of the list.
My brother and I saw her in a casino in Minnesota. We were in the second row and were staring at her so much she quit looking at us. We're both musicians and just love her. It was shortly before "You're The Last Thing On My Mind" went to # 1. I knew it was a great song as soon as I heard it. It was a great concert! Smokin' guitar player!
Wow I had no idea she was that age. I remember seeing her open for George Strait right after the song Chains. I thought she was in her early 20’s back then!!
She’s always been considered to look younger than she really is! I personally think she looks her age, it’s just not nearly as old as people wanna believe so they say she looks younger :)
