    I started Chinese class on italki last week and I am glad I found this video. My tutor is wonderful, patient and understanding and this is important especially because I have ZERO background in the language (I am like a baby learning to talk 😂). I try to make time throughout the day to research and practice using RUclips and Google and this video is one of the best on pinyin that I come across.

    OMG,Keep it up .this is the most profound and complete explanation of pinyin that I've ever encountered on the net.I'm an English teacher and some Chinese terms that we come across are hard for me to pronounce-for example the story of Niu Lang and Zhi nu çoz it's embarrassing to denote another meaning.This is very helpful

    I'm trying to learn the pronunciation for a presentation and this helped a lot, thanks. This is by far the best tutorial I've come across. It's simple, easy to understand and it cover basically everything you need to know as a beginner (at least everything that I know of).

    You're naturally skillful in teaching Chinese. Yes, you're most likely a native speaker, but how you relate it to English (for me, sure many more) as if you're native in English. I've saved this one for reinforcing.
    I also watched (and a few others so far), "Chinese Writing System, Basic Strokes, Basic Radicals, and the Stroke Order". In the many videos and books that I have referenced on Chinese Strokes, Radicals, and Characters, I have not seen it explained as you did in the six categories. If you referenced a book for this, I'd love to know what it is.
    Anyways, you have a great talent for this. Your series on HSK vocab is very good as well. I'm being a bit selfish here, but I have you continue. Thank you for the content.

      Haha, thank you so much. I’m a Chinese native speaker, and English is my second language. I have taught Chinese Mandarin in University for a couple years. For English speaker, I know there are many pinyin sounds they don’t have in their language, so I think it will be easy to find the similar sounds to make it easier. 😁 happy to know that my videos are helpful to you. Keep up 💪💪
