I said it before, and I'll say it again, you are an EXCELLENT instructor. In my opinion, a GREAT teacher has the ability to give a beginning sewist the confidence to BELIEVE, not think, he/she can duplicate the finished product. I SINCERELY LOVE YOUR TUTORIALS.❤❤❤❤

Y'all make it look so easy & quick, but as sewer/sewest with years experience appreciates what y'all do. Throughly enjoy your videos.

I haven’t been this excited about a pattern in a while! Downloaded it yesterday and saw this video this morning and my mind is juggling ideals!!! Kangaroo pockets for the kiddos and Everyday Tee hem line for me :) iPod shoulder pockets for the older ones in high school. Been wanting to try small zipper pocket on something for the older ones private important stuff and this might be the perfect pattern to play with! Thank you for all you do!!!!!

Just got the pattern. I can't wait to try this one out. I'm doing the crossover top as well. Thank you for showing in depth on how to do the zippers and button placket. I can use that on other patterns.😊💜

Another great video Diana, and a fantastic pattern E&M. When I saw the preview, I couldn't wait for the pattern to drop. I have 7 men on my Christmas list, so off I go to sew these up for them. Thank you ❤️

just finished my 3rd one of these, 2 for my husband with zip option and now one for me with the button placket. which was a first for me, so a few mistakes, but all on the inside so no one else will know. still to do the button holes and buttons though.

Love this, and am about to start making one for my husband..first thing he's agreed to let me sew for him! Are you using a stretch stitch or zigzag?

Hello! I'm just wondering if you just skip the video part adding the interfacing to the collar, or if you just don't do it at all? The written instruction say we have to add some but you didn't seem to do it in your tutorial. Thanks!

people who watch these video are beginners so please don't just tell us you are going to 'stitch a criss cross box' show us how you do it, and don't say you're just gonna stitch round the collar, show us where to place the needle so we don't end ups unpacking 3 times as the hem didn't catch! you don't say which is the front of the sleeve and which is the back, and either does the pattern!

Hi, I just bought this pattern and the circle markings on the sleeve pattern piece indicate the front and back of the sleeve. Diana did an excellent job of making sure we don’t make the same mistake! 💜 Her teachings are amazing and they have given me so much confidence and joy in sewing. This pattern looks to be more advanced than beginner anyway, given the zip and placket etc, so it is going to be more challenging in places. On page 30 on the instructions it shows how to mark the criss cross box on the sweatshirt before sewing it.
