I'm working on mine today. I didn't take that complicated bolt all the way out only to the threads. And don't forget to take that negative post off the battery. Good work Bro. I have to work on my hydraulic contraption next
Dr. Ock it’s not man, you can knock it out. Mercedes Benz tried to charge me $620 for something I did for free. Working on your own ride and keep your money in your pocket. Hope things go well for you
Dr. Ock once you get the alternator on, use a 8mm wrench to pull back the pulley. ( it is the tork screw that’s sticking out. ) you might need a breaker bar to help. Make sure the belt goes under the spinning wheel and up on the pulley. If you freeze the last part of my video you can screen shot how the belt is sitting on it. Try that.
hey man, was your car going into limp mode before you changed the alternator? I'm about to fix the voltage regulator in a few days to see if it will fix.
Thanks for the helpful video, it actually shows you putting the alternator back in. I'm going to change the one in my 2002.
No problem glad I could help.
Great video. It looks like I may need to do this job very soon. Good to see it's relatively easy.
Tony Smith it is. And if you need help walking threw it hit me back up.
nice one... good job... will do the same now ... thx

Vashawn Life cool thanks, i pretty much got it covered but just to be sure, 8 mm wrench, 15 mm n 16 mm socket? Am I missing anything?
Dr. Ock that’s about it. Message me if you run into a snag but I think my video showed a lot.
Vashawn Life how do you suggest puttin in the belt, I’m kind of having trouble with that
