This game is very CPU demanding, especially in NPC hub areas. The worst thing is that you can't do anything about it like you can do for graphics by turning settings down. Fun game though, really enjoying it atm although it desperately needs more work IMO.
Jeez what are those shadows on the building doing? 20 seconds in the game and it has all this weird flashing of shadows. LMAO 70 to 80 fps at that resolution on a 4090? Holy unoptimization, Batman!
Did you out your gun up before you approached the people with green reticle? Hold H to do so. Also performance tanks in town on even systems better than yours or mine (4080 and 11th gen i9) - even 7800x3D can’t keep up with a 4090 in this game currently.
@@udubultra Do you know if a VA panel, the monitor I have, will be a big difference with an OLED panel? I maybe plan to sell my monitor to get a better one, but I am not sure how big the difference is.
He's has his ultra wide monitor with ratio set to auto instead of 21.9 ,i changed mine to 21.9 from auto and it gave me gltched sides so i put it back to normal . Stalker 2 played on a curved 45inch ultra wioide is very immersive .
yeah I've had one before, however while the PPI is a bit better, I personally don't like the dimensions of the current 49" format of 32:9 monitors. They are too short vertically, something I never truly realized until I sat in front of this monitor
@udubultra Ah i see. Fair point and its still a nice setup and youre enjoying yourself so it doesnt rly matter. Image looks great man! Been waiting myself for LG to market an ips mini led superultrawide. Until then my 3440x1440 lcd is doing the job
I’m on an LG OLED C3 and have never had to adjust in game brightness in any game. This game has been crafted to be extremely dark so that when you use your flashlight it actually looks like you need a flashlight as opposed to games where you turn the flashlight on and can still see any and everything outside of the light cone.
You set your peak brightness manually with RTX HDR and usually defaults to 1499 nits. This should be adjusted to your displays peak nit brightness. Most LG OLEDs before 2024 peak at 800nits while the current generations all substantially increased nits. I find very rare cases on any LG OLED that you need to adjust in game HDR settings as the default ones are usually spot on in every game that has native HDR support. The only adjustment that usually needs to be made is HDR Peak Brightness which is easy because you just set it to your displays known max peak Nits
@@udubultra out of curiosity, when you DO use RTX hdr, what does it show your max value. Mine only shows 603 nits on the 39 :/. I believe this monitor has a few upgrades from the 39inch thought right?
Mine now shows 1300 (for most games, some still show 603) after the latest NVIDIA app update. I believe what that update did is tell RTX HDR to read off the HDR brightness setting you set through the Windows 11 HDR Calibration Tool. In there, I set both brightness windows screens to 1300 and after doing that, I noticed RTX HDR peak brightness started reading 1300 as its max as well
also, the game looks blurry with dlss and framegen enabled, with terrible input lag. I have the same monitor as you.. what are your experiences with this?

This is the exact same monitor i have. I downloaded Stalker 2 off gamepass to try it out and.... the graphics BLEW my mind with this monitor!
Its a gorgeous game, I'm glad I gave it a shot!
STALKER 2 game of the year 100000000000000%
its so glitchy and buggy
no, but the game is really good, probably will be nominated tho.

yeah the hub areas tank my fps the most, hopefully with some time they'll be able to fix that and many other things like texture flickering
thanks to you bought the same display but 34" :D
That’s awesome, I hope you’re enjoying it!
What a setup man! 🎉🎉
Thank you!
I have this monitor and already thinking of returning it back for the G9 49 Oled. I miss the glossy finish and better clarity
Yeah the G9 is also a great monitor,
depends if your room can be light controlled, on glossy surface even white walls can be seen lmao

Yeah and I found out they were bandits, when I approached they were yelling at someone on the other side of the door then turned and came after me 😂
I have a 34" monitor HP 34c, is it good for this game?
Yeah I’m sure that would be good!
@@udubultra Do you know if a VA panel, the monitor I have, will be a big difference with an OLED panel? I maybe plan to sell my monitor to get a better one, but I am not sure how big the difference is.
how do you get it stretched out without having the black bars on the side?

are you using rtx hdr or in game hdr?
I’m using ingame HDR
With a 4090 wouldnt you rather go with a 5120x1440 monitor? Would make for a much crispier image id guess

Thank you! Yeah It would be cool if more companies adopted mini LED as an option because I’ve been impressed since I’ve seen it
amazin
Thank you!
Hey bro can you show your nvidia control panel settings in a video too
Yeah I’ll need to add that, it’s worth noting though that I have all of my picture settings at default in the control panel
@@udubultra things like gsync, low latency mode, you you have the on ultra or off ? Windows game mode? on or off?
I have windows game mode on, and GSync is off. I don’t use GSync when recording because it can mess with the camera

That is also off
Dude can you do a video on how to install Nexus mods on this game
Yeah I haven’t even explored the mods for this game yet so ill have to check those out
I don't know if it's just my Oled monitor, but the game be getting extremely dark
its probably HDR that does that
yeah this game does get extremely dark, part of it is probably setting the environment but I also boosted the in game brightness to help with that too

Yeah it looks blurry too a bit, I’m using the sharpness filter ingame to help a bit with that
Game is too dark for my taste. Reminds me of Metro.
Yeah you definitely have to overuse your flashlight in some cases
Stalker is the predecessor of Metro
pop ins on a 4090? jeesh

A few grand at most but I see your point
or just buy a series X lmao games is great on the series X
@@julianowen6670 it is absolutely great on console, even the S given the price, but to be fair to OP he did specify “to its fullest”
@SolidBoss7 can you run pc 4k still with great frames ??
