I watch a few poker Vlogs. By far yours is the most informative. You do a great job of capturing why you did what you did each hand, often including the non math reasoning and nuances like reads or table / player history. I appreciate you are humble enough to show losses and bad plays. I find very little learning comes from simply watching someone make a standard pay with standard results. Than you.

You’re the 3rd vlogger who has been making 50-60 per hour at 1/2 and 1/3 and in every video and forum post I see about win rates, I hear 10bb / per hour is crushing. All of you are making 20-30 bb/hour. Do you consider yourself to be on the tighter side? Curious of what your play style is. I’m trying to improve my win rate but ended the year at 8bb/hour in 1/2
I'd estimate my VPIP is maybe 15% on average. There are times it's higher, and there have certainly been times that it's been lower, particularly when card dead. A part of the win rate is definitely variance, and I'm sure it will come down over time. (I know it will in the short term since I just had a big losing session early in 2022 that will be in one of my upcoming vlogs.). But I'm also not afraid to get involved in big pots or on a few occasions I can think of, have made thin value bets. I think I also need to attribute a lot of this to the fact that I'm playing in Texas, and the games here are pretty wild -- lots of multiway pots for huge pre-flop raises and 3-bets.
I read a ton of books about 15 years ago -- lots of the 2+2 books like Harrington on Hold'em and Harrington on Cash Games, among others. It's been a long time since then (I haven't played the game for about 12 years), but I still remember a lot about it.

Everyday around 17-20 table in 1/2$ are open it’s beautyfull place to play. Just look this room i think it could be a perfect place for you ! Thanks for all your video

I agree that the sample size is small, and I definitely don't expect to sustain these numbers. With that said, that's part of the reason I didn't just double my expected profit for next year given that I've only been playing/vlogging for 6 months since I picked the game back up. It may prove not to be, but back when I was playing 12+ years ago, I was able to consistently win $600/session on average, which is partially what factors into my belief that I can achieve this goal. Granted, I was typically playing longer hours at the time compared to what I'm able to put in now, so perhaps you'll end up being right.

I’ve stuck to $1/$2 exclusively… I have a similar 2022 goal to try my hand at the bigger stakes eventually.

Thags not a realistic amount for 12. Youll see 25 is a much better game in general.
