Great software but I wish when you added different elements or overlays, it placed it on top of the video rather than under the video. Makes it harder(for me) to visualize layering when I'm use to using Premiere Pro or other video editing software.

Thank you for your videos. How do you manage to edit interviews easily without waveform underneath video track on mobile version ? I love CapCut but I do not understand why they did not let see the audio track like other editing tools. (I know you can extract sound but this create a mess afterwards...)

I appreciate your helping us understand Capcut by giving us the tutorial. Just one question for now, you showed us how to set a video/clip length manually. What I mean by this is you click on a clip and drag it's "borders" to a certain length or time. Is there a way you can set that clip to a exact, specific time length instead of doing it manually? I ask this because I've seen some other tutorial videos for Tiktok and Instagram in which the picture changes according to the beat of the music and they've given the time on which to set the length of the picture or video clip.

Capcut is owned by the same company that has Tictok, and has a lot of cool features for Tictok editing style.
Yes, they have a sync to beat/music function.
Even, Collin has a tutorial on it in one of his videos. I think "10 cool tricks on Capcut" I'm not entirely sure, but I've seen him demonstrate it in this channel.

man the got the pro version cause it's the only one that actually makes high res but now 2 issues makes me hate it - how do I 1 mute a video - I don't see sound ... anything anywhere mute ETC and 2 when I leave the screen it stops editing - do do I make it " enable background" If I have to stay on that screen the whole time that is really stupid !
Volume pops up when you click on an individual clip.
And yeah enabling background usage will allow you to switch apps easily.
