I am 61, and a technophobe. I am famous for messing up things as "simple) as tv remotes! I suffer through using a word processor. I have never, ever, hooked up a computer in my life, until today.
I watched this tutorial, rewinding a hundred times to watch it again.
I did it! Thank you!
Theirs nothing wrong with messing things up! We all have to start somewhere.
This comment is really motivating me to set up my own computer 🖥 instead of asking my neighbors to help me
I'm reading this and I can literally feel the proudness radiating from this comment!
Lucky
When I moved I had to unhook my PC and it sat in the box for over a year because I had no idea where to begin setting it up I asked different ones and got no where,so I was sitting thinking how bad I missed my PC and thought what the heck what do I have to lose and your video was the first one I seen so I clicked on it and your directions were perfect, thank you so much now I think I'm a computer technician ( kidding) thank you
It’s important to note that if your PC has a graphics card installed you should plug your monitors into the graphics card, not the motherboard at the top! This may make applications not run correctly or if you have multiple monitors it can cause flickering. Hope this helps someone!
Thanks for sharing!
Thank you🙏
Oh, maybe this is my issue! Thanks, I’ll check.
Hey idk if your alive. But I don’t understand what you mean can you please explain more?
Can you like tell as where do we plug it?

Lmao they say that they won't buy you a pc coz you won't be able to handle it or you already have one?

@@XtripFN it depends on what pc you get! But it usually they should come with the basic ones :)

Thank you so much for this video!
I plan on buying a PC in the future but I have never done this before so it seemed incredibly unnerving.
It still is a bit unnerving but I feel a bit more confident thanks to this video.
You're very welcome!

Edit: I'm stupid i could have done it in the pc or the monitor 🤦♂️
Lucky for you I have no cable plug in my monitor and I don't have no pc

Would utterly love a new version of this with Network cable and showing a display port under modern connections for monitor

You're welcome!
I've been searching for this kinda' video 'cause it's my 10th bday and my daddy got me a new PC!! so this is 🥰 💞 👌 🥰 perfect
Awesome! Happy birthday!
2:38 all the cables and connections are gone
Yeah I noticed too xD
Wireless PC
Does it need any extra connections for the graphics card
@@umairzia4524 graphics cards are mostly built in already... So no need to
2:13 I have a power cord that is has the tip round rather than square that when to the pc but will I need one for the monitor or the one that is shown above?
That depends entirely on the monitor you have. A lot of monitors use a standard PC power cable but some of them may have a proprietary plug.
Very nice detail, I would like to learn how to make a similar animation with different devices. What application is used to create the animated video?
Thank you so much bro I have been over-reacting that I bought a PC for no reason
I’m soon buying a new pc and monitor, they’re both acer, this video helps so I can learn how set up my pc and monitor and have the best gaming set-up

Thanks, great video.
You're welcome!
Thank you this is just what i needed
your video was very helpful thanks alot
Omg thanks I really needed this
Hi there! Happy to help! ;)
helped lots ty
The GCFLearnFree computer classes are fantastic, apart from the horrendously annoying background music. Sounds like distorted static. This is the first GCF computer video I have watched that did not have this “music”. So extra kudos for that.
One question Dose the pc and monitor come with the 2 plugs I'm gonna get it from Amazon so can u let me know
Bhai mere pass luminous ka inverter hai use kam ho jayega ya alag se ups lena padega
I was wondering about the type thing like a window so is it like already in the desktop computer box ?
If you're talking about an all in one PC (like the iMac at 0:37), then yes. Everything is integrated into 1 unit, hence the name "all-in-one".
Jose Javier Flores ight thx
You really helped me , thank you😅
Thank you this is gonna be useful in the future
Glad to hear that!
Thanks a lot for the great advice
You're welcome!
This helps a lot
That's great to hear!
Bro tysm for teaching me this
Your Videos are so cool!
Glad you like them!
I need to come back to this video multiple times because my pc is not that good
Oh my God I love you so much this actually worked!
❤🎉😂
even though im part of the “hip youth” (teenager) ive only ever owned a laptop, so having a monitor/tower is completely new
to me. i bought it used, and through this vidoe realized i was missing a cable, thanks for the help
Thank you for this. I'm setting up my desktop on my own for the first time in my life since my brother now lives on the other side of the state and can't be here to guide me. It's a little overwhelming.
Glad it helped!
Hey i wanna ask if theres anything i need to do to my pc? That is really what is supposed to do with it daily or monthly? For example like if you dont clean it it will crash?
I would clear your browser's history and cache at least once a week or so. Sometimes websites can act weird and/or have problems if you don't clear the cache. In most browsers, you press Ctrl+Shift+Delete to clear cache.
What software did you use for making this tutorial video.
Thank you!!
You're welcome!
Does anyone know if I can connect my all in one pc to another pc?
I connected my computer with my monitor, and when i try to turn on the monitor, it says-"hdmi1 no signal". What should i do?
but i don’t have a keyboard and i wanna connect my controller to the pc but i will have nothing to connect it with so what do i do
thanks alot for information about Depravd of computer
What if your speakers have both a USB cord and a audio plug? Would you plug both in or just one? 1:56
Depends on the speakers. Some of them use USB just for power and you still will need to plug in the audio cable into your computer's headphone port. Some might use the USB for both power and audio.
@@JJFlores197 ah I see, thank you for the help! I appreciate it :)
It took me more than 10 minutes to do this lmao
I need help so i put the HDMI cable into my pc then into my monitor and my monitor won’t turn on and if this helps it’s an acer
Thank u very much very helpful
Our pleasure!
Brilliant idea 👍👍
Thanks a lot 😊
so does this mean I have to have a computer in order for my monitor to work ?
We bought 2 days ago but untill now the Pc is still installing without showing monitor is that okay? it is take so long for new installing desktop computer.i am exhausted since this is first time pc we always use laptop since😰
But does it still work when the monitor has no powercable port
Thank you❤❤ for the video 😌😌😌
You're welcome 😊
thanks man, im buying my first pc so just wanted to be sure!👍🙂
How did the monitor or the pc turn on if the guy unplugged everything?
brilliant idea
Yep ikr
Thank you very much
Very help full
Glad it helped
Thank you so much i was stressing with my monitor and pc this helped me so much and i have a question does both the pc and monitor need to come with cables?
It depends on the computer and monitor. Most monitors usually come with at least a power cable/adapter. Some may come with a video cable, some may not. Most stand-alone computer units you buy in-store (without a monitor) may not come with video cables.
Does the computer and monitors come with the wires to plug in or do we have to buy it seperate?
Depends on the computer. Typically, most PC units that come with a monitor will also come with the appropriate cabling. Other times, you only buy a computer tower, it may only come with a power cable.
Thanks a million
to connect the two, does the cord come with the PC or do you have to buy it separately
That's an ambiguous question. What are the "two"?
@@JJFlores197 the monitor and PC
@@Valkinite Depends. Monitors usually come with a video cable. The computer may or may not come with one.
Does cables at 2:13 come with PC or i need to buy it?And if it not come with PC which is name For that cable
Most brand new computers come with a power cable. If it doesn't come with one, you can easily buy. I believe the technical name is C13 cable, or you can search for it by standard PC power cable.
Thank you man
someone answer please do all the plugs come with the monitor and pc or do i have to buy it?
i’m sure it comes with it
Monitors typically come with a power cable/adapter and a video cable. The exact video cable it comes with, if at all, depends on the brand and/or model.
The computer itself will usually only come with a power cable.
Thank you so much. I have had this ASUS pc since yesterday and its really old and i was wondering how to fix it. Thanks
You are welcome!
Hello, Can I know what apps did you use to create your vid? We have a school projects that we need to make a tutorial how to Setting Up a Computer and your video is my idea. I will create a vid like that for my school project.
Thank you!
Mom: I will not set up your computer.
Me: Then I’ll set up my computer.
