Full Flight: Delta Connection E175 Boise to Seattle (BOI-SEA)

- Hey guys! Welcome to another full flight video! With this flight, I start my journey back east...with a flight to the west! Still in the pre-COVID days, I flew aboard a Delta Connection E175 operated by SkyWest Airlines over to Seattle, WA where I then made a connection. I always put Delta at the top of my list among US legacy carriers and for the most part, they didn't disappoint here either. The deboarding/boarding experience was good, free snacks/drinks were provided, there were some great crew all the way around working the flight and gate, seats were fairly comfortable with adjustable headrests, and the plane was naturally very spacious & passenger friendly with large lavatories as well. Unfortunately, one thing in particular shadowed these pros on this flight and that was the ground delay. We were forced to sit for 35-45 min. in Boise due to a congested SeaTac and there not being enough air traffic controllers to handle everything. Not Delta's fault at all, but still dampens the flight a bit which caused us to be late. I also would've liked to have seen WiFi being offered on the flight and free entertainment as it's pretty standard nowadays. But, all in all, a nice peaceful night flight. Hope you guys enjoy!

Great vidoes!! Delta is also one of my favorite airlines to travel with. Can't wait for more content.
Hey there, Just wanted to leave a note to let you know that I have been enjoying watching your videos. They've actually helped me become more comfortable with flying. Between all the flights you've been on it looks like you've been all over the place. I know with COVID-19 you probably haven't been on many flights recently but hopefully when things open up a little more you can go on more adventures. Hopefully you get to go on more soon! Thanks for the videos!
Kenzie
Thanks so much and really glad to hear that! Yah I did take a few months off from flying due to COVID but I've been on some trips for about a month now and it is definitely a lot different...can't wait for "normal" to come back, if it ever will
Just realized watching this that you flew the day of my birthday!! I flew out that morning to LAS!!
I really appreciate the effort you put into editing this video. Not only did your editing help me enjoy this video, but it also made you one of my favorite RUclips users. Keep up the outstanding work.
Great video man! The 175 is a wonderful bird. So clean and modern (well built too). Really enjoyed the content and I’m hoping to go to Boise next summer
I think it’s really cool that you were In Boise because that’s where I live
My advice for flying is go to the airport 2 hours before your flight
Awesome trip report! I really enjoyed it!
Thanks a lot man!
The song at the beginning is Can’t Help me Now by Rob Thomas btw!
Your night photography is excellent and your knowledge of landmarks is remarkable and most enjoyable in your vlogs. I do find it a tad odd that within a few minutes after leaving the terminal you ended up with a 40 minute delay on the tarmac, oh well!!! Thanks for your hard work!
Thanks a lot! Appreciate it!
I love these small twinjet.
Awesome trip report. I love flying the E175's, just got off some AA flights on the E175.
Back in February, I flew on a AE E-175 and I was quite impressed with the aircraft.
Gotta love how some passengers got so frustrated with FAs even though the flight arrived only 30 minutes late. Wait until you have a delay of an hour or two!
We all faced delays before ,mine once was almost an hour at National in D.C ,but lucky enough for most people it was the final route for them and all of us were patient enough that in 40 mins instead they let us leave.
T’storms in area and one thing we can if possible to do is have some patience it’s hard but hold as much as possible it can pay off at times.
Looking at such videos, I also began to shoot my flights ... There are just few people who watch it...(((
Btw you need your videos So fun and entertaining to watch. You are the best
Brilliant trip report. I'm surprised that the plane was quite new but your seat had a broken headrest.
Used to live there. It's grown!
I like this video ceap up the great content
Love your musical selections. What's the opening track called?
I’ve also been in that same exact gate And I was flying to Denver also in that same exact plane
Hi I saw your old movies and there are a lot of flights to Poland and I have a world with this question whether you are from Poland or have a family in Poland?
man i love ur flights!
i wish to be a pilot!
Wow wow amazing! You always do an amazing job. Can I know the song name???
Thanks a lot! I'm assuming you mean at the end? It's called The Jam :D
thejazzguy13 Aviation I’m sorry I wasn’t specific. The first song while filming on Boise.
@@TodosLados Ah np that one's called Motor Hums :)
What was the elephant in the room during delay?
I suspected you simply spent a half-day in Boise and I was right! Judging from the sun angle and the fact that you headed for the Oregon Trail only, seemingly nothing else. To be sure,I checked the flight date and arrival time in BOI,compared it with your check-in date and time and voila! :) TBH,had I been in your place,I would've been exhausted by the time I arrived back in SEA,having been jumping on/off airplanes as well as flipping back n forth between PT and MT.No doubt you caught a red-eye to DTW so as to get some sleep.I'm no fan of the 175's,unlike you,I find them to be cramped and when full, virtually claustrophobic.Seattle is something on my bucket list, would love to spend a week in the metro area. At SEA,noticed one woman wearing a face mask--maybe she knew what was approaching?
That is my city I go for flights I have flown Boi to Sea on Alaska 4 times
Those landing lights behind you are normal when you filmed this. The lull from Covid-19 will perhaps allow Sea-Tac to catch up with projected air traffic. But this may take awhile. Let's hope we get back to normal soon.
Delta is my preferred choice to fly to Hawaii and NY from SEATAC.
Gotta love the LED strobe lights
Ya me too
I had a ground delay at EWR for about 20 min before
Hey nice video 😍 but could you travel on virgin alantic one of these days stay safe
Would love to once things open back up!
Delta is trying to become the Northwest Orient of days gone by.
Howdy, awesome trip report as always and I agree about everything you said! In my opinion, even if the delay is the airlines fault, there is still no reason to be rude to FA’s! That being said, I will say that they could have passed out water on the delay to people but you can’t ask for everything! Stay safe out there and you’re awesome! Also, would you ever consider coming to Louisville, Lexington, or Cincinnati?😸😻😸
I'll have a vid from CVG coming very soon! And thanks a lot! :)
@@thejazzguy13 Yay! I love Cinncinati!
Lol I had this issue at Miami when flying AA to Newark, and that’s bc of both weather and EWR’s ATC congestion
lots of great place to eat in SEA especially ivars
I was looking through my tail numbers and I flew on this aircraft from IAH-MSP on January 30, 2022
I’ve flown on delta 300 times and I have only had 1 delay for 15 minutes
im about to go on this same plane and same flight Boise to Seattle Seattle to Hawaii
Now AA is building a international presence there
I bet the delay was really boring! But Great video!
13:37 that's what I was thinking when you said that people were requesting to be put on the other flight; that the Alaskan flight would probably be delayed too
Delta was my first flight ever PIT to atl ATL - dfw
I have to go alone soon and I’m 15 😖😫
Where he will go next stay tuned
Are you okay!
Yah man, didn't quite have the next vid ready yesterday as I was traveling last week and needed to fix a couple things in it, so will put it up Thursday instead :)
@@thejazzguy13 Oh, okay, that makes since!
Why doesn't it surprise me that a pack of Idahoans would be pissed off at being slightly inconvenienced? Idaho is the original Trumpian whiny baby incubator.
switching to the Alaska flt isnt goin to get them to SEA any sooner
i remember in san antonio waiting to takeoff and due to congestion at houston hobby airport the plane waited a half an hour to takeoff longer than the actual flight and arrived in houston 20 minutes late and i was afar id i was going to miss my connect flight due to a tight connection but they didnt even board the plane yet when i arrived at the gate and flew southwest SAT to HOU to OMA back in December 2018 and earlier that day Houston Hobby had a ground stop due to dense fog in the area other flights SAT to HOU also delayed heavy and everything was running behind schedule that day
I thought Alaska/Horizon was the top carrier there
I would think so too, but they're #3 behind SkyWest & Southwest
4:04 dude be tall
6:25
And also why are U doing tomato juice lolol?
Lol just thought I'd try it for once, heard it's good :D
I once flew to Seattle on Southwest. It was from Las Vegas
@Bagsy I have never had an issue with Southwest's seating policy. Then again, I have always flown with my family whenever I have flown on Southwest. I can see how difficult it is for passengers to find an available seat on Southwest when passengers reserve empty seats for passengers in later boarding positions.
I’ve watched your videos for years now but I never understood how you get to fly so often
id rather be on the dash 8 cant find too many turboprops in the rest of the USA
WTF? I didnt know you were handsome!!!
He is incredibly handsome indeed. I knew he was handsome, though.
Those folks need to wait instead of being angry.
I agree. I once had a delayed flight from PHX to SJC, and I didn't throw a major anger outburst. I just waited.
even if you flew Alaska Airlines there would still be a long delay due to traffic congestion in Seattle
Nice
The music 👎🏼
Delta is doing too much. smh
You have quite the backlog of videos.
I do lol takes a while to edit each one properly :)
