I lived my first 29 years in Nairn, I had a special connection with the Aviemore area, but wish I had spent more time around the Cairngorms..... Looks fantastic
Hahaha thanks for that. Yes you see thumbs done on almost everything these days haha. Thankfully the huge majority is thumbs or i might have to re-think what I'm doing lol:) Just working on a drone showreel for my foreign trips just now:)
Seen quite a few a few of your videos and some shots from this video in the bbc documentary "the mountain" really enjoyed your vide "Aviemore Blast" that route is personal favourite of mine and it's great to see it from another view, keep up the brilliant footage
stunning scenery bought out by brilliant footage. Thanks for making this and sharing. The music choice is spot on. Best 4 minutes i have spent on you tube for a good while :-)
+Kirk Watson And you did goal! Excellent video, excellent color grading. In case you come to Italy making a 4K video, please advise. We collect ( and later tell them to major companies) 4K video, best one's, and we have supertalented master like Yuri Palma and Dave Graham in our libraries. Waiting for you, you are a master, too
I'd loved to have seen the shots go on for longer, the film is stunning, and so relaxing. hoping you make a longer version so we can really soak up that scenery :-) great work
+addgrav That's always a tricky thing with a showreel of what I can do with my drone and filming. Trying to fit in a variety of shots of different things and areas and conditions:) Also something to hold the attention of people. You sound like the perfect audience and would happily watch more, which is great. My next film which involves other cameras too (not just from the air) has much longer shots:) May have to wait until after a film festival before it makes it here:) Thanks for watching.
Excellent footage there I only wish I can get this standard one day . This type of footage is what I hope to achieve by showing Scotland to the world . just waiting on my Quadcopter to arrive then next is to get certified. Thanks agian for the footage it's inspired me to get out there
+CraigPulsar no Paraglider's only microlights flown at a distance from them obviously prearranged with the pilot and instructor and the airfield management:)
+Kirk Watson I recently set of a group on Facebook for drone pilots called "UK Drone Flyers" We would be very happy to have you join us. facebook.com/groups/UKDroneFlyers/
Great work, beautiful shots. Is there any chance you would consider doing a film in Edinburgh. My idea is to have skateboarder's flying from the castle to the bottom of the royal mile then possibly a big pan up to the crags and a short mountain bike section. This project wouldn't be until next summer as it needs to be shot when the days are at their longest. I want the streets to be completely empty, no music for a lot of the edit just the rumble of the skateboards so it would most likely need microphones. I have been obsessing over this idea for a while and purchased the cheapest drone I could find to get a feel for flying however lost it after just three flights. Cheers mate.
+Liam Campbell Bummer about your drone, some great ideas there Liam. There are some pretty strict rules on flying in the city I doubt it would be possible to get permission for the royal mile without closing it down! Which depending on your budget might be possible, kidding! Much of your film could be possible with steady cams maybe?.
Hi Phil, I often record the sounds as more that likely I am filming with normal cameras at the time. Or I might use the stock sound effects from FCP X.
+ROAVR Unmanned Aviation Glad you like it:) The Facebook upload has had 78K views! I have my BNUC-S license and fully insured. I'm based in Aviemore. Aye be good to have a chat. You can email me through www.perfectviewproductions.co.uk

If you play 'Gimme Shelter' by The Rolling Stones in the background and play this at the same time, it goes together almost too well.
