Nevin and Vinai, a question: I'd like to go to the Cullin in April, is it Ok? I suspect that most of the shot in the recent video of Yuri Palma on youtube and in Prometheus by Ridley Scott have been done there, seems more than amazing
I am Scottish and I grew up in the Scottish countryside, my room looked out onto the hills but the thing is I could never actually see the top of the hills for the rain and the fog 😅🤣😅🤣. If you are going for the scenery then time your trip in the middle of summer, there is only a short window of clear sky's where you can capture the full landscape of Scotland. Don't say to yourself "I will go in winter/autumn to save money and avoid the crowds", well you won't see much in those seasons so plan wisely.
This shows what our little isle (from space) is really like and if you go to the west coast on Kyntree and a part of Arran, just south of Lochranza and north of Brodick, there is an amazing path with super clear water, and on Kyntree, it looks like Caribbean water
