Nice wee video guys again 👏👏 Out with the best looking tent in the world ⛺😉. Nice wee clip with the snow coming down from the dark skies, it certainly came down eh? Are your sleeping bags the Alpkit ones and if so what do you think of them ? You know you're allowed to talk to each other as you pass the camera 😉😂😂 Tbe Cairngorms must be your favourite place ?
Thanks Steve. Yeah the snow arriving was pretty nice. Then bags are Alpkit and really good. No complaints about them so far. We got them last winter and have used them on some really cold trips now. Our favourite place is where the weathers at its best. But yeah like the Gorms! 😊🙌
One of my favourite hikes in the Cairngorms, such a beautiful place and I’ve done it in summer and winter, never disappoints. Beautifully filmed and gawguss music. ❤
Hi Jeanette, Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it. Hopefully it’ll get you in the mood for your visit. Knoydart and Corrour are both superb too! Have a great trip. 😊🙏
Absolutely loved the video and the soundtrack I follow you guys. I have a request please I am mildly deaf and your videos do not have subtitles I struggle to hear what you are saying because the music is quite loud over your dialogue I wondered if it would be possible to adjust the volume slightly so that people with poor hearing can understand what you are saying? thank you for your videos they really are appreciated 👍👍
Hi Bruce, thank you very much for your message. 😁🙏 I’ll try to make the balance between voice and music better. I’ve found that it sounds different depending on the device that’s be used to watch the video. (TV, phone, iPad etc.) The other thing is we don’t use an external microphone just the mic on the GoPro. We try not to let the filming faff get in the way of enjoying the adventure so we keep the equipment to a minimum. I’ll check the subtitles are switched on in RUclips for our films also. We’ll try our best to make it better. Thank you very much for your feedback. It’s always very welcome. 😀🙏
Quite the opposite of your camp near Glenmore when you had an overnight thaw! Lovely filming as usual and relaxing to watch with that background music. I must get round the south side of the Cairngorms this year, tend to spend most visits based in Aviemore. Keep having fun guys 😎🤩
Hiya Ian, Glad you enjoyed it, thank you. Yes you must get over that side. A longer walk into the mountains so the trip dynamics are a little different but we’ll worth the effort. 😊🙏
It was someone playing a penny whistle I think. It was so atmospheric and we didn’t see anyone.. could just hear that! It was weird.. spooky, but it was really nice to hear it.
You two do love your wild camps. I’ve been up that way many times. Have camped at Corrour Bothy a couple of times. Prefer the warmth of my house this time of year. Off to the Arctic Circle week after next. Should be cold and icy. 🥶🤞
I passed through Glen Derry & the lodge on a 3 day walk around the 2 Lairig's in 2019 - fabulous place. I loved the shot from below of the snow falling & what a transformation overnight ! Great video as usual guys.
Hi Michael, we had planned something a little longer range but the weather cut our plans down to a more sensible alternative. Worked out just perfectly though. 😊🤘❄️😁
I’m sitting here with my toast and a cup of organic earl grey, wondering what you thought of the bag-brewed coffee?..and what the mysterious noise was?😂
Morning Tim, The coffee was actually superb. I like it strong as hell and this was perfect for me. You can adjust the strength of it though. I’ve tried loads of coffee bags (like tea bags) but they’ve not been very good. Will use these from now on. We think there was someone walking up towards Derry Cairn Gorm playing a wee whistle. It was actually quite nice to hear! 😁🙏
@@ontheadventuretrails-scotl9389 A wee whistle beats the ghetto blaster that I encountered on the Pennine Way a few decades ago. Thankfully the ghetto blaster was heading in the opposite direction.
Hi Bri, we’ve not really been out. Life and work are totally f&cking up our plans, everytime! Frustrating! I’m just home though, we’ve got about 10 day away from the end of next week. Just need to work out a plan now. Hope you’re well buddy. 🫡👍😊

Morning Jeff, It depends where we get the water from. We tend to drink water from high up without boiling, but not always. We boiled the water from here because it’s quite a busy area. You may have noticed from our videos that we give it a pretty good boil too. We always carry an MSR Quick Shot filter with us and use that if we’re not confident of what’s upstream or if the flow isn’t very substantial. Hope that helps a little. 💦 💧 Thanks for watch the video. 😊😁🙏
Oh thanks for the sarci reply 🤔 Well sorry but it was boring , if you don’t like honesty then maybe you shouldn’t post on you tube , just saying like 👍
@@garyjjohnson9021 Haha! Relax! We don’t care if it’s not to everyone’s taste. Most people would just stop watching and move on. I actually just laugh. Just saying like! Take care. 👍
Great video once again
Thank you. 😁👍

Wonderful again and very relaxing to watch.
Hi Ken, Thank you! 😁🙏❄️❄️❄️
Looks very similar to parts of western Montana. Very beautiful! I will put this on my bucket list.
Would love to get to Montana then! 😊🙏
Fantastic . I love that area and camping there. Very well put together video
Thanks Fergus. Awesome area isn’t it! 👍
Thoroughly enjoyable video, thanks for the inspiration and enjoyment
Thank you for messaging… glad you enjoyed it! 😊🙏🤘
A lovely video again Cairngorms just look beautiful I do love your tent 😊😍👍
Thanks so much 😊 (Hilleberg Allak2)
Brilliant again, thank you. Me and friend will be up in Braemar in March and 2 day at the Spittle. Praying for Goldies.
Hiya Vanessa, thank you for waiting. Enjoy your trip in March. 😊🙏❄️🌻
Cracking little hike, such a transformation when the snow comes down, brilliant filming! Looking forward to the next one.
Thank you. Two adventures in one, kinda! 😁❄️🌻
Outstanding as ever
Cheers Mike 😊🙏
I spent most of my 20's slogging up Glen Derry, the grindingest 6 miles you could ever walk. Eventually, lobotomies allowed us to enjoy it.
Haha yeah it’s a bit of mission getting to the good stuff. 😁👍
Beautiful video as ever. One of these days I will spot the two of you not walking in synch.....but yet to see it. 🙂
Hey Brian, Thank you! Maybe one day! 😂
Great video!! Thank you for sharing such an adventure! x
Hiya Kelsey, thank you for watching. Glad you enjoyed it. 😊🙏🌻
It's so nice to wake up to snow. Lovely footage, nice hike. 👍
Thank you Linda. Nice wee trip topped off by the snow. 😊😁🙏❤️❄️
Lovely video again guys. That was some snowfall you had in just one night, absolutely beautiful. Thanks for sharing as always.
Hi Dave, Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you for your kind words. 😁🤘🙏

Really nice video in a beautiful location. Enjoyed that 😊
Thanks Lee. 😊🤘
Thanks for making another great movie , the footage was just amazing. you timed it nicely for the snow. ❤
Hey.. Morning! Thank You! 😊🙏 Yeah we managed to time it perfectly. Even more rewarding because the weathers been so unstable. ⛄️❄️
Magical! I'll be in Scotland in about a week. Knoydart and corrour.

Fab film. Need to to be doing more stuff like this instead of the epic adventures I seem to end up doing.
Hi Glenda, yeah it was a nice wee but equally enjoyable trip. Bigger trips later this year, hopefully! 😁🙏
where'd you get your little lip sip that goes on the rim on the mug, need one of those ?
Nordic outdoors 👍
Nice adventure as usual. Do you drink the water directly from the stream or do you treat it first by boiling or filtering?
