What a gorgeous film. Loved it. So we'll put together. And better still, a winter adventure. Loved it....just beautiful up there. Nice to see someone wearing Salewa boots. Seems a secret how good they are for the price 😎. . . . Not been in Scotland for a winter mountain for years. You've inspired me to get back.
You captured that brilliantly took me instantly back to my days I felt every snow plunging step you took … excellent Dave these films don’t go unappreciated
Morning Mike, Glad you enjoyed it.I know you know the effort involved in every one to those steps lol 😂 My legs are black and blue! 😂 Thank you very much for your kind comment. 😁🙏
Hi buddy, the tough stuff (up to my armpits in snow) was off camera lol. Thank you for your kind words. Hopefully see you out n about this year. All the best the noooo… D&L 😁👍
Excellent wee adventure and superbly filmed - impressed you got shots approaching the camera without footprints. Reminded me of a winter weekend trip out to the shelter from Linn of Dee over 20 years ago. My feet and shins didn’t thank me in plastic boots 🥾 Thanks far sharing.
Yeh its a tough one mate, I came in from Linn of Dee side one time to devils point and had to turn back as my snow shoe strap snapped. tried walking for 2-3 hours without it and it was horrendous. I improvised and used my belt to strap it to my boot and then took me hours to get back to the car park........its a place where you have to be on your game as very tough conditions under food in the winter!!!! another great video though and its always the tough adventures you remember the most.......to the next one mucker!!!! 👊💪
Hey G, I actually needed some sort of beasting to get me out of my lethargy. Legs were thrashed because of falling between huge hidden boulders! Lol 😂 Be careful for what you wish for Dave! All good though. 😃🙏
Good to see you out and about again Dave, a shame Lisa had to work. That was a long walk in from Loch Morlich. Did you not fancy going from Whitewell? Tough conditions too... I think I'd have had my snowshoes on. The wee shelter looks in reasonable nick though..any issues? Hope to see you both out again soon. All the best, Ian and Meg 🙋♂🐶
Hi Ian, the Whitewell would probably have been nicer. I’d planned to go from the Sugar bowl but the gates were closed. Would have been tough either way i suspect. The shelter is in good condition. The only wee issue was that some snow was getting in from the back left side. (Wind direction). Thank you for watching Ian and Meg. 😁👍
Hi Dave. Beautiful mate, what a stunning location, and just amazing views. Looked tough going in the deep snow, but well worth the effort. As always thanks for taking us along on your adventure. All the best, Dave 😀⛰🥾🏴
Glad you enjoyed it Dave. It’s certainly an effort getting in but very rewarding, especially on this occasion given the weather and light. Thank you for watching as always! 😁🙏
You guys came into my head the other day and I checked out ur channel just in case I had missed a video. Nope...up to date and you hadn't posted for a while.😄👍 Stunning conditions in this one D.The snow just makes the landscape awesome looking.Certainly looked a tough one.Good to see u's back.😃👍
Hi Andy, yeah we’ve not been able to get out quite as much. Very frustrating! The landscape in those conditions was outrageously stunning, but fierce at times. It was nice to be out and challenged. Thank you for following our wee adventures… 😃🙏
Great Winter adventure, beautifully filmed, looked really tough going breaking trail 😮 but worth it for those views 🏔️🏔️🏔️ loved the wee cheeky Robin 🐦 at the start 😅 Brilliant 👌 atb Brian 👍
Hi Brian, 👋… thank you for your message. Nice to hear you enjoyed this one. The wee robin kept coming back which is why I was able to capture it. Cheeky we dude. 😁🙏
Hello Malcolm, 👋… thank you for your message. Nice to hear you enjoyed this one. Busy at the moment but I may update the info on the video with some lessons learned. 👍😁🙏
Hey, morning! Haha it’s always different without Lisa. Sadly she had to work. Was also nice to be out alone though. Yeah, the scenery was very special. You don’t often see it at the time but the footage gives you a chance to see it again. 😁🙏
nice 1 Dave ..the scenery in its winter coat is stunning ..was half waiting on footage of your mishap 🙈...did you have guests in bothy with you ..great video as always and glad your safe 👌
Hi Buddy, no footage of the deep snow dive lol .. to busy trying to survive 😂 The scenery was really spectacular on this trip it has to be said. 😀👍 Yeah had two other guys in with me. They were trying to do some winter climbing routes but I don’t think the snow conditions were the best for them. Nice lads though.
Wow that looks amazing in the snow.. So much nicer when I did it in the summer 👍
Yeah it’s pretty special in those conditions. Tough but enjoyable walk. 😁👍
Great filming great clip haste yes back

Hi Kev, yeah was a bit of a ball buster at times. Good though. 😁👍
Lovely film Dave, cracking winter conditions. I've been meaning to visit the Garbh Choire shelter for a while now. Looks well worth the visit.
Thanks Robin. Tough but rewarding bimble.

Hi John, thank you for your very kind words. 😁👍 They’re probably my most comfortable boots. Really rate them. 👍
Really good video, showing very clearly how demanding conditions can be - even in good weather - well done.
Hello Jim, 👋… thank you for your message. Nice to hear you enjoyed this wee adventure. 😁🙏

I've only walked there in summer, that looked stunning, brutal, exquisite & scary all in one. Great video but no wonder Lisa stayed warm 😁
Morning Michael, you described it perfectly 😂 👏 .. Yeah I’m sure she’d have been fine but I’d have been given a hard time for the route choice lol 😁👍
Incredible, spectacular adventure.
Thank you Philip. Need to hear you enjoyed it. 😁🙏
Wow, what a magical (but harsh) winter scenery. Scotland looks so different in winter, almost like Lapland. Great adventure!
Hey Val, it’s such a pleasure to be out in those hills when they’re wearing their winter coat. 😁👍
Really enjoyed that, nice one 👍

Many thanks! 🙏 My legs were black and blue from falling into rocks and holes on this one. Worth the effort though. 😁👍

Absolutely stunning. We love the Cairngorms, even more so in the snow. Where was Lisa?x
Cheers D! Lisa was working, sadly. 😁👍
Nice video. I was looking on os maps for that place you stayed at location but I couldn’t find it
Hi Shane, it’s not on the map but can easily be found. 😁👍
