Another great video. You do great work. I have slowly started repairing some of my estates. The most recent is an old custom-bilt that I'm dying to get finished so I can smoke it. Keep the vids coming. Take care. Steve
Nice! A while back I acquired a lot of 6 estates (I placed my bids and offering only cuz I wanted the CustomBuilt and 2 Ye ol Wood's included) turns out the others included were all in need of new stems...who ever smoked them enjoyed making holes in them. I was going to send them to Boswells to have new stems made...but after watching this vid I do believe I can fix the holes my self (didn't know of the glue you used until now) Thank you for sharing of your knowledge! Much obliged! Have a great Sunday! Cheers! 🙂👍
If you were going to have new stems made you might as well try to repair them. Nothing to lose. You might want to use the StewMac glue. It is a little easier to work with. The Starbond accelerator work with it. Good luck. Thank you for watching.

Thank You. I have a little more than that in it. Thank you for watching.
@@The_Southland_Piper I would hope so,it is a lovely pipe! I’m curious if there is any taste from the repair on the bit/stem?
@@RichardT2112
No taste from the repair. CA glue is used a lot for stem repair.
What brand of bench buffer are you using? Im on the market for a new one, and yours sparked my interest.
Thanks
@@christopherprince3250
I just use a cheap variable speed one from Amazon.

How do you strip the finish?
@@jasonroberts9243
Murphy’s oil soap does a good job at removing the finish
@@The_Southland_Piper thank you. I recently inherited my Grandfather’s pipe collection. Gonna give em a good cleaning
Where can I buy your pipes at?
I mostly sell on eBay under the name Smokin-pipe-deals. Thank you for watching.
You can also ask about any pipe that I have in my videos.
I live in Japan as a missionary. Do you offer international shipping that isn't crazy?
@@kamoboko86
I can but postage will be more.
@@The_Southland_Piper I have had issues of shipping being as much as the pipe. But I'll check out your listings. Thanks!
I think you should have stayed with the light tan color...
Maybe so. Thank you for watching.
