magistral maestro, gran video!sabria usted decirme k clase de yeso es el idoneo?le escribo desde españa ,creo k es muy complicado de conseguir el k menciona en este caso, gracias,un cordial saludo amigo.
Gorgeous pipe. Love have that in my rack... LOL
For small stems I prefer a Dremel with a buffer wheel and jewelers rouge. An adjustable speed Dremel.
@@chubbyjohnson5480 Sounds like a solid plan

Beautiful grain on that! Love the shape of that Amy mount stem! I have a Wellington pipe that's mimics that peterson model but is XXL in size, and the DR. Grabow Omega that mimics both of those and is smaller than the two. I have a video coming out about them on Thursday morning if you want to see them.
@@LifeWithAPipe I will watch the video. Thank you for watching.
I see this was done 3 months ago. Not sure what you done with it since then. Everyone says leave it and i can respect the history behind the tapping. But what if the abuse of the pipe reflects on the abuse of his wife or child? I say take it down and do what you can to replicate the sandblast. Its only about an eighth of an inch. Start a new chapter for this piece of history. And bring new life to it. By the way, new subscriber here and enjoy your work. Ive learned a lot from you and put it to use with great results. Thank you.
Great job as always!

Hi Tim, just a quick question if I may. After I polished the bowl on a pipe I'm restoring (trying to), I fined there is a dust residue inside the bowl from the carnauba wax. Do you clean it out with anything or just leave it there? All the best Glenn.
Good Evening 😊 Beautiful Pipe 😍Cleaned up Beautifully 👍🏼 Great Job Mate 💯 Have a Great Day & Greetings From South Africa 🇿🇦

Very nice. I was cleaning the vulcanite p lip of an old made in England peterson 307 stem this week and it's gone brittle and cracked a piece off the bottom of the tenon below the army mount. It fits perfectly, would it be best to use epoxy or superglue to rejoin?
@@chillaxe9603 Since there’s no stress on the repair I would just use super glue
@@The_Southland_Piper thanks, good man
Do you sell pipes Tim or do you just do this for yourself
Nice work, looks great. Wasn’t Aristocob’s pipe mud just cigar ash?
@@SouthAlabamaPiper My understanding is that it contains no cigar ash. It has plaster of Paris, salt and activated charcoal. All three items are food, safe items.
That’s a lot better than what I did. Great job.
@@SouthAlabamaPiper Thank You
Beautiful pipe thanks for sharing
@@SouthAlabamaPiper Thank you for watching.
Where you get these metal reamers and the sodium from? And can i use the sodium and charcoal to repair the stem?
@@blueglue79 Found my set at an estate sale. I see them from time to time on eBay.

The pipe really turned out well. Nice to see one with some age in such nice condition. (I'm a 1960 model too, so I'm glad to see some things from that year still have some life left. 🙂)
