Something that also might help the guy at home is if you have a adjustable stock such as a AR. Move it to where it fits pretty well and that would get you close I would think
Thank you for this information. I am trying to find a way to lengthen the LOP on a Mossberg 930 tactical. For some reason, none of the geniuses over at Mossberg or at any of the aftermarket companies think we need an adjustment on the 930 stock. Kinda ridiculous that nobody offers it. Let me tell you, one size DOES NOT FIT ALL. Although, there are tons of adjustable stocks for the Mossberg 500, 590, Maverick 88, and all the other pumps. I don't get it.
Put tape on stock , Measure 5 3/4 “, from center of trigger. mark . Mount gun several times marks the most constant spot on the tape where your tip of nose lands .. if it’s behind the 5 3/4 line subtract that from distance from LOP . That’s you personal LOP. Or in front of 53/4.. add
