Great visual instruction. I personally have found the more modern gen3 version of the PRS stock to be too long for me, plus I don’t like the weight for most applications. I would want the weight for a competition bolt gun but for that I’m using a chassis system, so the prs wouldn’t apply there anyway. For my AR’s I like the A2 stock for my DMR competition rifle and the enhanced sopmod for my carbine setups.

no explanation on LOP - length of pull for prone (lying down) vs standing position ? Is this the same rule ?
But why the length of forearm? Like, I understand how you measured, but you never explained how forearm length LoP actually translates to an ideal shooting platform when shouldering.
In what ways are those two ideas related? (Seriously asking!)

What is the stock for the semi auto ?
This makes zero sense, we don't shoot with the buttstock in our elbow. I would like to know though what the scope mount is on the chassis rifle?
@Eclipse538 i have a similar skepticism of LOP, any serious rifleman could pick up any LOP rifle and shoot it very sufficiently. People can angle wrists and elbows many different ways. I think someone needs to put a more in depth video out explaining why LOP is so important. It make sense to have a longer LOP so that you can cycle a bolt action without the bolt smashing you in the face without moving your head position on the scope. I guess if every rifle you own had the same LOP you would be more consistent across all your rifles. If its so important why don’t you explain more please?
@Eclipse538 Ive sat in my gun room debating which LOP I should order for a new stock on a new build… feeling and shouldering at least 4 different rifles….i have an old 70s semi custom sako with a 13” LOP and stocks with a 14.5” LOP….. and a handful of other rifles in between…. They all feel fine to me and different in their own way. Im 6’4, longer feels stable but almost bulky and cumbersome compared to the shorter LOP…. There are pros and cons to everything. Everything can be explained.
@Eclipse538 there's also an old adage about knowledge. "If you can't explain it simply then you don't understand it yourself." Don't talk down to people because they don't know, it's why we are all here. Instead of stating the obvious how about explaining it simply.
