Do know any way to get into contact with Outriders this patch ruined my Pyro which is a T40 I can only equip one primary weapon and pistols. When I go to the first weapon slot and put a gun there it automatically goes to my second slot. Now I had a weapon there before patch and even after cause I ran a trials run but now it glitched out any help @Buzz cause I’m about to quit playing
Right now it’s dropping like absolute trash. I go to the rooms and get 2 pieces except proving grounds where I can walk away with nothing. Now the final boss isn’t even worth the grind for one piece of gear and no drops on multiple runs. I don’t expect every run to be golden but just where are we suppose to farm that’s not going to bore the hell out of me like trails setup is currently and give players something else to do?? The expeditions are worthless expect for the occasional run to break up the monotony and maybe farm for worthless resources. I like the game and think it has great gameplay but PCF have mucked this up from day one and will not change their ways. Unless they make some kind of announcement about buffs to the nerfed loot 😒or additional content FOR FREE soon, I’m out 🫡 !!
I agree, the helmet drop was the same. There were times that the Arbiter dropped nothing but purples. The extra legendary gear dropping in the side areas were non-apoc each time. This has slowed the amount of anamoly essence I usually get. Horrible changes.
I completely agree. They have made grinding more grindy. It takes longer to get through all the chambers but end up with nothing more than before. This is the exact opposite of what this game needs. We need less grind time - only that will reduce the tendency of players to resort to exploits.
100% this. I was having fun before this patch. The loot was ok and kept me going. But with this massive nerf to the loot, i doubt ill keep playing this much longer
I'm AT 33 and receiving substantially less AT exp progress per trials runs, there is also less apoc gear dropping across a whole run. Sadly the game respects your time less with every patch, very very disappointed
@@LtBuzzLitebeer let them know we need ascension and apoc levels to carry over to other characters. Nobody has time to grind loot, ascension levels AND apoc levels on 4 characters. It completely stops me from exploring any other character.
Observed exactly the same. Loot drops have gotten substantially worse. Less Apoc-Tier items and less Legendaries overall. Since the patch it has become even more frustrating, even if I go to the extra Troves... they drop standard loot, not apoc.
@@LtBuzzLitebeer Yes I don't mind a grind but this is really harsh with the lack of procedural generation. I mean a $20 game in Arcadageddon does it well why can't Outriders?
I too am playing quite a lot lately and I can confirm that, on my side, the Arbiter when before I got something around 10-13 helmets of wich 4-5 were apoc level AND 2 or 3 were legendaries...I did it two more times since after the patch and all I got was a truckload of helmets of wich 1 legendary NON APOC, and a grand total of 3 apoc gear on those two runs not counting the guaranteed legendary to be chosen. On the other encounters as well I noticed a severe drop on apoc gear all around. Sooo...they added a couple more legendary drops on 4 encounters but nerfed the overall apoc gear to be found? AND nerfed the final Arbiter almost to the ground as well in a single swoop...not exactly optimal, PCF :x
They buffed techno sets... problem is: The attribute changes only affecting NEW DROPS of this Sets. Your old set stays untouched by the patch, so you have to farm the same set all over again to benefit from the changes. "Had Godrolls? We are sorry... happy grinding!" Even the gifts are cursed with grind. I don't know man... i got the feeling that i felt in love with the wrong game
Yeah, can’t play it either. I like that they didn’t hand out nerfs. Grind is still artificially dragging out time to peak level. That’s more likely to burnout fans and casual gamers then keep us engaged. Grinding main trials boss was less about loot and more about XP. But now I get less gear for my time. But I’m happy about no nerfs.
Yeah I agree I think that if they made the grind much easier or shared then we would actually be more motivated to level multiple characters and explore different builds which would lead to longevity
One thing that would be nice is if we can use resources to upgrade something from normal legendary, or normal epic to apocalypse. Can be an additional way to try and get your ideal third mod
I liked skill life leech as an attribute, easy to convert it directly to a nice anomaly buff that didn't have a cool down or require any action to activate.
Subbed, your content is genuinely good and inciteful (and I find myself agreeing with your assessments generally :) ) I have to say though I was underwhelmed by the patch, for the exact reasons you outlined when it comes to loot and fixing Trials. To be honest I was really shocked they didn't even attempt to fix the Devastator bug but that must be coming in the balance pass later - hopefully with some major buffs as there are still far too many dead mods, and even a few PAX nodes that either outright suck or need their power increased. Keeping my fingers crossed in particular for Warden Tree buffs, Sniper buffs and Spectral Spike for the Trickster which is an amazing skill for what it does, it just ramps far too slowly to be of any real use (it doesn't even work at all with Twisted Rounds, like wtf) And I still am advocating for an additional option at the crafting table to allow us to re-roll a single attribute on a piece of gear. Nothing more aggravating than getting a perfect Apoc item but 1 of the stats is useless to your build. The other thing I'd love to see is some equivalent to Diablo 3's Roayl Ring of Grandeur. Make it a a helmt or gloves I guess, the slot doesn't really matter too much BUT it should come with the following caveats; - It only comes with 1 mod slot instead of 2 - the attributes are random - you have to actually equip it to get the set piece reduction bonus, you can't just scrap it for the mod because it doesn't have one it's basically a single set item bonus all to itself that lets you reduce the numebr of set items needed. I feel like those tradeoffs would be fairly balanced for being able to run 2 full set bonuses at once and would open up a lot of creativity. Last thing I'd like to see is a buff for wearing all 5 pieces of any class set. It's cool that we only need 3, but there really should be some additional bonus that's very powerful for equipping all 5. Sorry for the super long comment.
I’ve played Outriders since day 1. I was there and tried to play through all the server issues and lost loot bugs. I was disappointed with the “gifts” PCF handed out for the original players for all the bugs, but kept playing. Tried to keep grinding the Expeditions, but that was previous to the final loot drop changes. Came back for New Horizon for a bit and had high hopes for World slayer. Buzz I’ve followed your videos on Outriders since the beginning and have loved your honest feedback. I was waiting for your reviews before purchasing and glad I did. I agree with the others that struggling once again for loot drops and slow XP is too much. Hope they change it in the future. Until then, I won’t purchase WS

Would love to see the Technomancer and Pyro to stop getting buffs, and see the Trickster get a big buff. Getting my ass kicked by the Arbiters, as soon as they start the A.O.E attacks.
They should add random hunts to do through out all areas of the game. Like the ones for the story but have them randomize the enemies so it's never the same set up when you do them. Like hunt 2 normal behemoths and the new big one and then have it change up the next time etc. It will give players more to do and also still play the beginning area's and run the game on a higher world tiers to get all the new loot etc. Maybe have missions to do like certain challenges like snipers only and maybe have the enemy a.i. behave more defensively and hide behind more cover for this specific challenge or something like that.
The loot changes aren't good sadly. The nerf on the final Arbiter is very noticeable and he sometimes doesn't even drop a single legendary (except the final reward choice) while the Troves appear to be the same as before, averaging at 1 legendary apoc (and sometimes not even that). The devs need to understand that getting a large number of legendaries is not the problem since you don't end up using 99% of them anyway. If players burn themselves out farming the final Arbiter then it's on the player. I did that and whenever I got bored I switched to Expeditions or other Tarya Gratar rooms. If anything I'd like the devs to buff the Expedition rewards and give players more options because no matter how much they change the way loot works, people will eventually get tired of the same Tarya Gratar rooms and layout.
If it’s one thing I am learning in the gaming industry it is that their profit has become more important than customer satisfaction. Wise words I once heard was “make people happy and the money will follow” that means the customer not your Boss! Games no longer see gamers as their willing customer. I think they see us similar to a drug dealer looking at his junkies! He asks himself “how can I make more money off these fools” we need to wake up and stop spending our money until the first adopters have reviewed. The Techno build using 3pc flame Leper that turns it into blight fire with 2 turbo turrets is beastly. Only gripe is the increase of Tara runs I have to make to climb each gear level. Just nearing gear level 68 n it has taken 8 runs to get close the lvl pop. OMG, what in the hell were they thinking. Grinding for gear sets is one thing. Grinding to lvl up is just exhausting. After my Techno n Dev make it through. That will be it.
Buzz I dnt know what version of outriders ur playing but I was playing for 5hrs today trials only farming ofcourse but the loot drop was horrible as the hr/day pass cause it was the same as yesterday and the loot trials is dropping is mostly old vanilla game gear stingy with apoc gear especially logo’s and they damn sure not dropping gear for techno plus the gear specific troves is not doing it at all meaning I’m going for boots why am I getting guns and helmets!!!!
Hit each of the side troves twice last night. Observed Minor increase in targeted loot, most non-apoc. Final boss got a slight buff in hp and resistance. Didn’t notice less Legos on final boss.
They should have raised AE and DR amounts significantly in specific troves and reduce it at the arbiter. That would make troves interesting and meaningful. Give every chamber a specific reward that you get only there, not just a higher chance for a certain armor piece. I think the "buffs" were actually meant a s nerfs by reducing cooldown rates. They seemed to misjudged this quite a bit, just like the trials....
We are all on Xbox and they're dropping helmets like crazy one time 32 to 35 mostly the high 20s purples no gold and that's on the last boss on the trials
I really appreciate that they are trying to fix this in the right direction, but a few things not quite there... Helmet drop rate in our experience seems the same, if not higher. Side lines and legendary drops seem to be higher, although more Basic 'B' Legendary. Blightfire still not working with Toxic mods. (really hoping this changes soon)
My intention is to get to 40 asap that I`am free there to create builds. Its not funny to create more than one build when you have such overprized upgrade costs. Apoc tier 30 is my final goal. 40 is a mess. They have to change this.
I main all four, helps with the lack of any procedural generation. I've been playing a lot of Arcadegeddon lately but I'll play Outriders from time to time.
Helmet drop is still the same. I noticed that noxious spores mod now have a 1m fixed area. I don't know if this was already intended but when I was using the emerald something LMG the spores was going all around the map.
I did a run of daughters room and got three legendary pants, no apoc. With what I’m seeing with the helmet drop not changing I can only assume the loot change never happened.
they need to fix their servers... Everyone I join via matchmaking I get a yellow/red connection status. This causes lag, jerky movement, etc.... They don't want you to solo content but their server make you play solo...
I've been fully convinced that since the day they threw all this code together, they have no idea how or what to do with it. At this point their best option would be to call on the modding community.
give us a end game tremor bleed build, or add in a cool mod thay makes mobs who aren't infected by it run away in phear. or a mod that cause tremor to refresh for every 3 bleed targets it has. like the idea of a tremor bleed build but no1 uses it. plus there's no way to keep it constantly up
why didnt they change the techmonger boots and gloves to have status power and anomaly power? ive been grinding for so long now for boots and gloves that have both :(
I played through the whole trials, hitting every node. The proving grounds didn't drop any legendaries for me on my run after patch. The other 3 rooms did however.
So I've had chance to dive into the update and I agree for the most part however my experience in legendary drops from the final encounter is drastically different before the patch I'd get 2+ legendary drops now I'm lucky if I get 1 legendary in 4 kills I don't know if I'm the only one but this is my experience
I've hit a wall early. I need to to change my whole build, but I can't really solo, and the multiplayer connection is still terrible. So when I do finish late game stages, literally all the Loot received is far lower than the gear I have now. Need some good RNG but playing nonstop for 4 days and received lower gear makes it tough to motivate me to play more. I can always play at a lower difficulty, get the gear I want...in time, but then leveling the APAC gear take huge amounts of resources, which I don't have because I'm farming lower levels. A real uphill battle playing solo, or multiplayer when 2/3 players drop out halfway and the enemy count is increased. So yea, I'm stuck and frustrated.
Response to dev's change: *face palm, shakes head*. Before this patch, the final boss, I don't get that many helmets. I get more chest and sniper and LMG then anything else. But I was doing the end boss mostly for the XP in just two runs, my apoc bar went up so much and my ascend lvl gone up almost 3 lvls I think. The loot was just a bonus even though most of it get broken down since most of it is just junk. Seriously why make a mod that only procks when a shield activates, Technos don't have shields (we don't need no shtinking shields, sorry had to get that out of my system =P )
The issue is i never did the side area's for legendary's. The final boss is way better for it. The optional area's, they where ok except it almost never drops anomaly power/status power items What also bothers me is no changes to the flame leper set. It already felt horribly bad.
They need to buff the apoc gear drops big time. I bet I have cleared the trials 1000 times and still haven't got a good pair of boots or gloves(epic). I also call BS on there being less helmets dropping from arbiter. Like, a 45 gig patch changed stats to status power and thats about it lol
All the devs did with this update was make players want to get all their characters modded with infinite resources/apoc tiers/skill trees/pax trees/ascension points etc...
im at 150 and now the xp requires to go to 151 is a lot ...i might get to 200 at the end of the year lol...the loot is a little base on changes ...sometimes you get all blues ...is hard
To me, a bigger problem that comes from the xp gains is the difficulty. The game is too easy compared to how the base game was, and the slow levelling leaves you stuck in levels longer with easy enemies. Gets boring faster IMO. Love the game, but I’ve got all 4 toons between tier 26-32 and I think I’ve died twice total (pyro 😂) not counting bugs like Akriel. I think they just extended the max level, and left the same difficulty multiplier as the base game which is based on 2 mods per gear piece.
They need to look at the other classes and bring them up to par with techno!. Pyro use to be the shit in the first game before world slyer, now it’s meh.
Having now played the whole Trial of Tarya Gratar 3 times and the final Arbiter near a dozen I'm really sad to say that the game has become substantially LESS rewarding to play. And worse than that it seems like the patch wasn't even properly or fully implemented. None of my technomancer sets have seen any changes at all and I wasn't seeing an EXTRA apoc legendary per trove run but seemingly LESS apoc legendaries per trove run in the named areas. I know others are experiencing the same issues.
it's hard for me to believe they are proud of the changes do they even test things... the helmets are still way too many... I love this game but it's already boring and what are we gearing up for? there's no final boss at level 40? they could have at least up his shields at 40 or something... it's just values in a spreadsheet
shame they didnt give better rewards for all the other existing things you can do, like expeditions bounties or throphies even redoing parts of the story, none of these are rewarding. So what you end up with is running TG over and over again and thats not enough to keep me in the game for long.
I'm realt tired of devs always nerfing literally everything in the game they should just stop nerfing things the point of this game is to make a built that makes you op if they nerf more im done

I just beat the last Arbiter and got 1 legendary Apoc gear….the one they let you choose from. It’s ridiculous how much they nerfed it.
I barely ever get any anomaly power purple gloves or boots. It's always firepower and health. I'd love to see those drop.

How about opening up tier 3 mods to apacolypse mod slot on purples so they can actually bring meaningful in the game. Pretty simple stuff
We need more EXP in everything. Not just in one Area. We would just farm that area over and over again. More anomoly extract from Expeditions too

The Techno build using 3pc flame Leper that turns it into blight fire with 2 turbo turrets is beastly.
Only gripe is the increase of Tara runs I have to make to climb each gear level. Just nearing gear level 68 n it has taken 8 runs to get close the lvl pop.
OMG, what in the hell were they thinking. Grinding for gear sets is one thing. Grinding to lvl up is just exhausting. After my Techno n Dev make it through. That will be it.
Buzz I dnt know what version of outriders ur playing but I was playing for 5hrs today trials only farming ofcourse but the loot drop was horrible as the hr/day pass cause it was the same as yesterday and the loot trials is dropping is mostly old vanilla game gear stingy with apoc gear especially logo’s and they damn sure not dropping gear for techno plus the gear specific troves is not doing it at all meaning I’m going for boots why am I getting guns and helmets!!!!
Hit each of the side troves twice last night. Observed
Minor increase in targeted loot, most non-apoc.
Final boss got a slight buff in hp and resistance.
Didn’t notice less Legos on final boss.
They should have raised AE and DR amounts significantly in specific troves and reduce it at the arbiter. That would make troves interesting and meaningful. Give every chamber a specific reward that you get only there, not just a higher chance for a certain armor piece.
I think the "buffs" were actually meant a s nerfs by reducing cooldown rates. They seemed to misjudged this quite a bit, just like the trials....
Drop seems overall to have been nerfed... not satisfied with this change...
We are all on Xbox and they're dropping helmets like crazy one time 32 to 35 mostly the high 20s purples no gold and that's on the last boss on the trials
I really appreciate that they are trying to fix this in the right direction, but a few things not quite there...
Helmet drop rate in our experience seems the same, if not higher.
Side lines and legendary drops seem to be higher, although more Basic 'B' Legendary.
Blightfire still not working with Toxic mods. (really hoping this changes soon)
My intention is to get to 40 asap that I`am free there to create builds. Its not funny to create more than one build when you have such overprized upgrade costs. Apoc tier 30 is my final goal. 40 is a mess. They have to change this.

I main all four, helps with the lack of any procedural generation. I've been playing a lot of Arcadegeddon lately but I'll play Outriders from time to time.
Helmet drop is still the same. I noticed that noxious spores mod now have a 1m fixed area. I don't know if this was already intended but when I was using the emerald something LMG the spores was going all around the map.
I did a run of daughters room and got three legendary pants, no apoc. With what I’m seeing with the helmet drop not changing I can only assume the loot change never happened.

I can think of several off the bat.
They killed the final Arbiter. Multiple runs where he drops nothing but purples in addition to the final Trials reward of Legendary choice.
actually if you make a reattempt in the 1st trove for boots the enemies do change

they need to fix their servers... Everyone I join via matchmaking I get a yellow/red connection status. This causes lag, jerky movement, etc.... They don't want you to solo content but their server make you play solo...
I've been fully convinced that since the day they threw all this code together, they have no idea how or what to do with it. At this point their best option would be to call on the modding community.
I hope they can adjust the xp the anomaly extracts or something I can’t upgrade my gear cuz is 5000 broo and you get like 200 at the end of a room
give us a end game tremor bleed build, or add in a cool mod thay makes mobs who aren't infected by it run away in phear. or a mod that cause tremor to refresh for every 3 bleed targets it has. like the idea of a tremor bleed build but no1 uses it. plus there's no way to keep it constantly up

Noticed the zero effect on helmet drops. We had two occasions with NO legendary floor drops tho'!

I played through the whole trials, hitting every node. The proving grounds didn't drop any legendaries for me on my run after patch. The other 3 rooms did however.
So I've had chance to dive into the update and I agree for the most part however my experience in legendary drops from the final encounter is drastically different before the patch I'd get 2+ legendary drops now I'm lucky if I get 1 legendary in 4 kills I don't know if I'm the only one but this is my experience
I've had him drop no legendary's twice, your not the only one.
I've hit a wall early. I need to to change my whole build, but I can't really solo, and the multiplayer connection is still terrible. So when I do finish late game stages, literally all the Loot received is far lower than the gear I have now. Need some good RNG but playing nonstop for 4 days and received lower gear makes it tough to motivate me to play more. I can always play at a lower difficulty, get the gear I want...in time, but then leveling the APAC gear take huge amounts of resources, which I don't have because I'm farming lower levels. A real uphill battle playing solo, or multiplayer when 2/3 players drop out halfway and the enemy count is increased. So yea, I'm stuck and frustrated.
Response to dev's change: *face palm, shakes head*. Before this patch, the final boss, I don't get that many helmets. I get more chest and sniper and LMG then anything else. But I was doing the end boss mostly for the XP in just two runs, my apoc bar went up so much and my ascend lvl gone up almost 3 lvls I think. The loot was just a bonus even though most of it get broken down since most of it is just junk. Seriously why make a mod that only procks when a shield activates, Technos don't have shields (we don't need no shtinking shields, sorry had to get that out of my system =P )
Nerf not buff. They need to make expeditions drop new loot as well. New drop rate is terrible

The issue is i never did the side area's for legendary's. The final boss is way better for it.
The optional area's, they where ok except it almost never drops anomaly power/status power items
What also bothers me is no changes to the flame leper set. It already felt horribly bad.
They need to buff the apoc gear drops big time. I bet I have cleared the trials 1000 times and still haven't got a good pair of boots or gloves(epic). I also call BS on there being less helmets dropping from arbiter. Like, a 45 gig patch changed stats to status power and thats about it lol

All the devs did with this update was make players want to get all their characters modded with infinite resources/apoc tiers/skill trees/pax trees/ascension points etc...

None, it's all based strictly on RNG. You could check Tiago or his stand at the Trials just in case.

im at 150 and now the xp requires to go to 151 is a lot ...i might get to 200 at the end of the year lol...the loot is a little base on changes ...sometimes you get all blues ...is hard
This was a bad thing the new patch ,anomaly abstract material is a bigger problem now! For upgrade! Loot drop sucks!, bad loot almost no apoc

To me, a bigger problem that comes from the xp gains is the difficulty. The game is too easy compared to how the base game was, and the slow levelling leaves you stuck in levels longer with easy enemies. Gets boring faster IMO. Love the game, but I’ve got all 4 toons between tier 26-32 and I think I’ve died twice total (pyro 😂) not counting bugs like Akriel. I think they just extended the max level, and left the same difficulty multiplier as the base game which is based on 2 mods per gear piece.
Was disconnected 5 times in 8 minutes since the new Patch (PC). Submitted a ticket.

They need to look at the other classes and bring them up to par with techno!. Pyro use to be the shit in the first game before world slyer, now it’s meh.

Having now played the whole Trial of Tarya Gratar 3 times and the final Arbiter near a dozen I'm really sad to say that the game has become substantially LESS rewarding to play. And worse than that it seems like the patch wasn't even properly or fully implemented. None of my technomancer sets have seen any changes at all and I wasn't seeing an EXTRA apoc legendary per trove run but seemingly LESS apoc legendaries per trove run in the named areas. I know others are experiencing the same issues.

From my experience, this trove update isn’t working. I ran the boot trove post patch and did not receive a legendary at all, let alone apoc.
The boot trove is not affected afaik. Only three out of the five troves - Daughter, Cliffside and Arboretum. The others are unchanged.
So I enjoy this game, but god that end game cycle gets SUPER boring SUPER quickly

shame they didnt give better rewards for all the other existing things you can do, like expeditions bounties or throphies even redoing parts of the story, none of these are rewarding.
