I have never had my Techno be so much fun. I worked for days to come up with a set of Leper armor. I just giggle at the Fisherman. Your build is the best I've ever seen. I hardly used to play my Techno but now I can't stop. Thanks for the build and info.
I was so glad I had this build already in my stash. Once I saw how much dmg it does with the constant cold snap and the unlimited rounds with the fixing wave talent it was a wrap and low key that fixing wave is op with buffing u and your teammates
Very cool use of fixing wave. I was using the turret to replenish blighted rounds which was nice but this version looks better. If I get back into the game, this is build I'm switching to.
yea that quartermaster mod is great , i use it on my techno wit tool of destruction and it literally refills my rockets every single time which makes it one of the best builds in the game
Love seeing you still covering outriders man! I've also been messing with flame leper on my AP RPG build and I can feel the difference but tbh its not a "WOW" feeling. Definitely need to run it more and move some pieces around to test.
Another great build video Buzz, I tried this build for the first time this morning, from my time using it what I noticed is that it dominates in everything except the arbitor fights, my techmonger build kills them faster but I still enjoyed using this build and watching enemies just get obliterated.
I've been trying this build out, but instead of cold snap I use the cryo turrets. Kind of a hybrid turret/leper build. I think it does better against bosses, and you get in on the action more than a full turret build. Great video, as always.
This has been my favorite Techno set since I found it release weekend. I have a Sunfall that I use with mines that has Firestorm, Omen and Mage Rage on it.
I've been using this build for a while now and it is easily my favorite techno build. Only difference is I use license to heal instead of bad medicine. To me the extra toxic isn't needed, whereas the 4 seconds of infinit ammo is amazing. I also got lucky with my charred lance and got mages rage in the apoc slot, so I kept resistance breaker and slapped on noxious spawns, which is a really good mod for this build. You mentioned that burrowing charge will be the #1 damage source for the build, but I've honestly never had it as #1. Blightfire is usually #1 for me by quite a bit. At AT32, I can finish a boom town with around 1.2bil total damage, and blightfire is usually around 500-550mil, whereas burrowing charge is usually under 300mil. I've also been messing around with a hybrid version that uses both AP and FP. I start top tree with it and pick up assault master, then finish middle tree for the capstone. Then I use a couple FP mods as well as anomaly enhancement on my weapon (I use a crit damage weapon for this instead of the charred lance), and at tier 32 fully buffed, I hit about 2.4 mil for both FP and AP. My burrowing charges do less damage than full AP (roughly 10mil), but with the extra gun damage, I kill bosses faster due to much bigger crits. It clears really well still, though it clears a tad slower than full AP, and after 10 boom town runs, blighted rounds, blightfire, and burrowing charge are usually my top 3 damage sources, all usually within 50mil damage of eachother. I've even had a few runs where blighted rounds beat the other 2 out by quite a bit. Overall it is fun and kills bosses faster, but I still prefer the full AP version. Full AP can do fun things with shotguns as well. Sorry for the long comment.
Interesting write up! The only comment I have is that for this specific type of build bad medicine (or the one that inflicts weakness) is needed so that fixing wave can be used to proc the lethal devices node
@@samvakarian This build doesn't use lethal devices, it uses hastened influence. What you are probably thinking of is bad medicine being used to reduce cooldowns with hastened influenc when it applies toxic. That is why I mentioned I don't use it because the extra application of toxic from bad medicine isn't really needed, because you already reduce cooldowns soo fast due to cold snap and shooting with blighted rounds. It really comes down to personal preference though. I like shooting a lot, so for me, using quarter master+license to heal allows me to spray with my gun non stop because every time I use fixing wave, I refill my mag and I get 4 seconds of infinit ammo. Since the patch, even if you have blightfire applied to enemies, you will now continuously apply toxic as well to enemies with blighted rounds. When you spray into a group, all those enemies being hit by the blighted round AoE are also reducing cooldowns. Now, if you are someone who doesn't like shooting as much, bad medicine would be a solid way to apply toxic more often. I just prefer the 4 seconds of infinit ammo over bad medicine. It gets even nuttier if you use a shotgun with the 2 ammo mods for fixing wave. With how fast they apply toxic, you can spam fixing wave like every 2 seconds on boss fights.

I'm loving the AP not rounds based builds a ton

Only difference is that the damage isn't coming from the bullets themselves, but rather the blightfire being left behind. Pair that with how good burrowing charge is, you still will do a lot of shooting. I'm not saying bad medicine is wrong or that it shouldn't be used, I'm just saying that it is still a rounds based build in the end.

This build looks fun but doubt it can kill the final arbiter in 1 and half mag as my borealis currently does. Definitely a good alternative. Great vid as always
Oh I was SO hoping this set would take off after the fix. Trickster is still my #1, but I was hoping to transition my Techno away from turrets into Blightfire. I do still like the cryo style too, but kinda wish Turrets were their own thing rather than dominating the ice style.
Been running thnis with the Martyr Helmet. Is this a better option since it has status power? Also, nice you gave a shout out to Gamer J, he has been testing and fine tuning this build for a while.
Nice video men! But in higher tiers like Apoc 40 is a pain in the ass killing bosses, this build is naturally bad for bosses plus in the new update your status power severely decrease the higher Apoc you are, but overall is a nice option for mobs clearing.
Also messing around with this build, using the death laser double gun with fortress and got Scrap Grenade rolled as a apocalypse - turns out quartermaster reload counts to reset it :D
Great vid LT as always. I like the look of this build. The turret build is great but not much fun as they are doing all the work. This build looks more fun so will try it out. I hope i did not get rid of any flame leper stuff :)
I run same skills, gloves if cannon ball, final penance with firestorm, mages rage and omen to have more statuses and get my skills back faster. I find when there one elite or a single boss the more status works more proficiently. Still working on my armour and mods
This build is insanely fun and dead easy for trash mobs, but it doesn't hold a candle to my Techmonger turret/tools of destruction build for bosses. Proc mage's rage, throw down turrets and activate the minigun and the final arbiter melts in 20 seconds. But this build keeps things fresh as the grind in this game gets old. Fast.
Does have more anomaly power that health is better? I know that firepower is important but right now in my game, I am not a tech shaman or Demolisher yet. I just beginning to build the ability tree.
My only problem with this build by the looks of showcasing it, is that NOBODY shows boss damage. Everybody shows mob damage. I don’t give a darn how fast you’re killing these little red bars lol. How fast are you dropping the trials bosses and some of these tougher elites?
I've got footage on say - Dr. D and it gets him down fairly quickly while destroying the mobs behind you. Arbiters seem to have been buffed significantly since the patch, so those are tougher no matter what.
I'm playing with this build. And yes boss damage is not super high on arbiters. Also their resist against cold snap can hinder you a little bit. But in overall, other then taking longer then with turrets from tech monger for instance. It's still fairly easy, and the dmg is not all that terrible. And when playing with a few friends who also trigger your cool down reduction, increases your dmg a little more.
I would switch back to triple turret Techno for bosses. This is were having saved loadouts would come in handy. Pyromancer has the same problem with heatseeker, great on small guys but tough on elites.
I don't understand why the weapon mod resistance breaker is so important if you have lots of resistance piercing (because you transform it to AP), why decrease target's resistance? Does it also transform to AP somehow?
Not because we want to transform it to AP, but because our build is built on status effects. Harder targets like Alphas or Crawlers (just a few examples) will immediately cast an Anomaly Barrier to block our AP damage versus them. By stacking into Resistance Piercing, we can break through that barrier and apply our status effects to those targets. Having trouble breaking through a Brood Mothers barrier? Stack into a ton of Resistance Piercing and you will drop her much faster.
I wonder how ridiculous it would Be to have 3 technomancers with bad medicine all reducing each others cooldown and over-healing to deal massive damage. Each technomancer would be dealing Three times as much damage from this mod than if they were playing solo and the cool-down would be even more ridiculous. It might help with the lacking boss damage this build has.
Man I really want to get back into this game but I play on ps4 and when there are large numbers of enemies on the field I get horrible frame drops to the point that the cover and dodging system became totally useless. Perhaps they have optimized it on ps4 but I don't want to be disappointed if it hasn't been because I actually likes this game...
The build is fun but struggles against Arbiter. For fun, I have been thinking about trying a Flame Leper turret build using head, legs and boots. The attributes aren't bad. That "should" apply Blightfire and go for a toxic build. Has anyone tried this yet?
I'm at work so I can't test it, but I was told it increases blightfire damage. When I get home from work tonight I'll test it out the same way I usually test stuff like this. I'll run 4 boom towns with toxic piercer and 4 runs with a dead mod and average my blightfire damage and see if it is higher with or without. I have the gear to test it so I'm not using ice ice baby and icicle storm since those can get you a lot of kills outside of blightfire. once I'm done I'll report back.
This inspired me to give the game another shot... I always play solo but after updating to Worldslayer I seem to be stuck in co-op mode with no way to disable it?

Nice build been playing around with a Borealis build using same concepts however using top tree for AR damage and Fortress for gun mod. It pounds. Looking for better 3rd slot mods such as king slayer for the final boss since I have a couple of dead mods for turrets. Will have to give this a try. How fast can you clear the final boss? Thx
I play mostly solo and try to farm the final Arbiter at least once per day. You'll get a lot more pts as you keep going up. Apoc Tiers take forever once you're in the mid-30s.
@@LtBuzzLitebeer you're benefitting either way. If they r on cooldown you get weapon damage which you are using. Since your skills return so fast, u will always benefit from that too.
Anyone knows how to let pcf know that the grim inventor set bonus doesnt work. I had a very good build and now i cant even use it. Please spread the word. I really really need it to get fixed
And I went with devastator class which on reflection was a poor choice after seeing my friend with his pyro class just destroy everything he joined my game as I'm only level 12 apocalypse atm
Who said your explanations were long? I've always thought they were quite good, not too long and not too vague either. I've watch some other content creators and some of them are SOOOO long, makes me think they love the sound of their own voice. As for the build, I've have yet to gotten all the pieces of the flame leper set let alone a apoc version with a good mod on it. Farming for for legendary is bad, I just did a run and did all the side areas and a couple of them I didn't even get 1 legendary, it was all purples. that's how bad my RNG is. Also the cannonball set keeps dropping more often. Just the one run alone I've gotten the boots, gloves, chest and 2 pants. It's like the game only wants this set to be used or something.

This is what I’ve been running but I’ve actually been using this pax tree and the bottom tree with the minigun.
I love my flame leper build though its much different from this build but still melts enemy. It's a fun armor set to use.
Fixing wave is great! I use it on my techno but with the rocket launcher unlimited rockets means lots of explosions and tons fun/dmg

Last Arbiter was super-buffed since the patch. All but a few builds suffer now to down him.
I'll try this out once I reach AT40. AP turret techno is just too good right now.

Try this build with noxious spawn as a weapon mod... it spreads toxic, and blightfire like crazy.

Health for sustain or more AP for greater anomaly damage output.

@@tiger200350 I can drop most any boss pretty quickly, but the Arbiters all feel like they've been buffed since the patch.
@@LtBuzzLitebeer , I still use the reload meta for anything still standing after my skills rotation it helps with clear speed.

Farming the Trials areas is the best method I found.

This inspired me to give the game another shot... I always play solo but after updating to Worldslayer I seem to be stuck in co-op mode with no way to disable it?

Nice build been playing around with a Borealis build using same concepts however using top tree for AR damage and Fortress for gun mod. It pounds. Looking for better 3rd slot mods such as king slayer for the final boss since I have a couple of dead mods for turrets. Will have to give this a try. How fast can you clear the final boss? Thx

Would an amber vault with fortress and dark sacrifice be good with this build? I haven't seen any firepower builds for techno really.

How in the world do you have 112 ascension points but only a tier 34 I’m at 26 and just 52 points in ascension level
I play mostly solo and try to farm the final Arbiter at least once per day. You'll get a lot more pts as you keep going up. Apoc Tiers take forever once you're in the mid-30s.
I honestly feel like Deathronome will be better than Mage's rage....
It looks good on paper, but you have to really pay attention to your skills and if they are on cooldown.
@@LtBuzzLitebeer you're benefitting either way. If they r on cooldown you get weapon damage which you are using. Since your skills return so fast, u will always benefit from that too.

Meh. It will down them, but it takes a little patience.
This build is only good for crowd control ...and very BAD for individual bosses like Arbiter...tried it and you will be Annoyed

I don't know how you get so strong because it's a grind trying to get legendary gear outfits and yet weapons drop for me often
And I went with devastator class which on reflection was a poor choice after seeing my friend with his pyro class just destroy everything he joined my game as I'm only level 12 apocalypse atm

Who said your explanations were long? I've always thought they were quite good, not too long and not too vague either. I've watch some other content creators and some of them are SOOOO long, makes me think they love the sound of their own voice. As for the build, I've have yet to gotten all the pieces of the flame leper set let alone a apoc version with a good mod on it. Farming for for legendary is bad, I just did a run and did all the side areas and a couple of them I didn't even get 1 legendary, it was all purples. that's how bad my RNG is. Also the cannonball set keeps dropping more often. Just the one run alone I've gotten the boots, gloves, chest and 2 pants. It's like the game only wants this set to be used or something.
Still can't find any part of this set. Starting to think the game hates me.

@@bjornkraft4576 This set destroys anything except Arbiters, but they feel as if they have been buffed since the patch.
Need to get better mods..can't defeat arbiter ...
This is what I’ve been running but I’ve actually been using this pax tree and the bottom tree with the minigun.
