I'm shocked that I'm one of only 2500 viewers. This is content that not only no one else has, but that no one else could ever get. You get cameras in places that are normally forbidden.
Amazing engineering done quickly. In Australia engineers say it will take 45 years to build 2,000km of high speed rail. Meanwhile China has built 37,000km in half that time.
What an opportunity and privilege to be able to witness a historic Engineering project under construction, akin to witnessing the construction of the Golden Gate Bridge. 👍👍
Very well done, it's amazing stuff. I was able to watch the building of the man-made island and the Zhuhai/Macau portion of the HKZM bridge being built from our home. Had to buy a telescope to keep an eye on it. Good job.
Really like this kind of contents. Please make more this sort of videos! Every time China makes a bridge like this, breaks a new world record in one or more categories. 😂
The bridge will be fabulous. The engineering feats are amazing here, I watched as they built the 2 Hangzhou Bay Bridges and the tunnel, and the bridge across the Yangze at Jiangsu (near Shanghai border) across to Nantong, All very difficult pieces of water to build on. Hangzhou Bay has natural gas pockets under it, and is like a washing machine due to a weird tide issue, which they have a festival around, so it has a spiritual connection. Its just a big shame they are UGLY stretches of water, maybe one day in my lifetime that will change. The pollution around that area of Hangzhou is bad, and the water is really ugly, filthy brown, maybe also due to the tidal issue. They built a tower and restaurant complex in the middle, waste of money, the visibility is about 10 meters on a good day, and the ugly ugly brown washing machine water below, I never stop while driving it, just want to get over it, its about 35km. The 2nd bridge is about half that size, and then the tunnel is the shortest part of the bay. Crossing the Yangze near Shanghai / Nantong is like crossing an ocean, its so wide as it gets near mouth at Shanghai, I had to cross it by car ferry before the bridge to Nantong was built, that was a an adventure the first time, ferry's in HK and China are what I like to avoid! As I mentioned before, there was no fast rail when I got here, the things I have seen built are mind blowing, especially coming from our countries where it takes 20 years and millions of dollars for ONLY studies to be done on fwy extensions. About 5 years ago Australian announced yet another study into fast rail to link for Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane, the 3 biggest capitol cities on the East side, the STUDY, will be finished after I am dead in 2050. I feel privileged to have been allowed here in China, to witness what I have seen. It's a bit emotional this month with 20th anniversary of 9/11 soon on us, and as that's the event that marks where this all began for me. I worked for an Australian version of Joann's, and had worked up to senior buyer, and Sept 2001 was my first world buying trip inc Asia. We start in LA and various cities across the US (depends on trade shows), end in NY, then over to Paris, UK, Asia, home. Sept 11 in LA, with an afternoon flight to NY and breakfast meeting at the Trade Center on Sept 12. I call LA my 3rd home, with the number of times I have been there since, and the ease to get around (with a car, like living in AU), but I melded with the US, being there at that time, and seeing what I saw, the grief and the unity. It took 8 days before we could leave LA for Melb, then early October, we toughened up, and boarded a plane (which wasn't easy after all the media brainwashing) for Asia, Sth Korea 1st and I hated it, because of the heavy military presence on high alert, it was awful, soldiers with machine guns everywhere, then Taiwan was good, HK loved it, and then Shanghai, stepping out of the hotel, without seeing anything, I knew I was moving here, hard to explain :) And now 20 years later. I often think, I can't explain "the enormity of here" to people, I can't share what I have seen, photo's and small video's don't catch it, so its great you are making such detailed video's! Recording history :) Hows that for an over share ha ha, Sept is always a tough month, and I desperately wanted to be in NY for this anniversary, i have been to many, I'm drawn there, but this one is a big one, I hope the truth will set us free.
thank you for the novel to read. I have been on that bridge from Hangzhou to Ningbo.. it's quite impressive, but you're right... it's tough to see beyond the bridge.
How's the property market doing there? I was looking to buy there a few years ago but just too much red tape. With the greater bay area stuff it seems a bit easier now.
do you think you would get this kind of treatment and access back home if you are not part of a major media group? just to say and dispel a lot of the US government propaganda.
I'm saying if this brings were build in US it's will take two decades to build the Oakland Bay Bridge take decades for California to build that bridge.

Thank you for seeing that. It's amazing the access you can get by simply being nice and making polite inquiries.
I love this sort of video. I can't get enough of them.
I need to do more of these.
What a magnificent project!!! We build it.
Wow, incredible engineering.

Awesome, nice work 👍

it took me years to get this video together. Thank you for your support.
What a great engineering in my hometown!
Proud of China 🇨🇳🇨🇳🇨🇳
Proud of being a Chinese ❤❤❤
Awesome! Can’t wait.
AMAZING ENGINEERING!!
Very super awesome bridge,!!!
Yes it was!
My favorite episode ❤️❤️❤️ 👍👍👍👏👏👏
thank you. i put a lot of work into this one.
Outstanding video. Top notch stuff.
thank you.
Paul getting the scoop over CNN, BBC & South China Morning Post on the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Link Bridge and Tunnel Project. Impressive.
it took me years to put this one together.. i'm proud of it.
Terrific Video Rojo. You are getting better all the time.
Great video sir.
That is absolutely super cool construction , I really enjoyed watching your video.
Awesome... Thank you for your support.
My legs shaking when playing you filming on the winded boat

Glad you enjoyed it! I worked hard on this one.
Great video about Chinese infrastructure engineering, from your subscriber from Myanmar
Thank you for watching and welcome!

I hope to make a lot more of these in the future. They take an insane amount of work.

China engineering is progress so fast!!!
Makes me wonder if that serpent and his buddy would get this kind of opportunity if they were still in China? Excellent video by the way!
doubtful. Thank you for your support.
wowww
It is now opened, but on a trial basis last week
Very interesting the china speed and engineering marvel
most definitely.
I just see Hongkong-zhuhai-Macau bridge. This is the new version.
after this is done, they're going to build yet another one in the bay.
How's the property market doing there? I was looking to buy there a few years ago but just too much red tape. With the greater bay area stuff it seems a bit easier now.
it's growing and getting more expensive by the day.
The traffic on the HuMen Bridge is a nightmare. This link will be very busy when completed. I wish it will not as pacted as the HuMen Bridge.
if you build it, they will come.
great content, but I think you need a wireless mic now
It's in my budget to buy one soon.... YT is an expensive hobby.
cool
please house tour
You ever thought about going back to the States to get onto television like you have in China?
not really. If i ever go back to the states i would be a teacher because that's what i love do to more than anything.
chinese people are only concerned about how the bridge influences zhongshan real estate price
I would say there's a lot more to this bridge than real estate prices... but it definitely is something on everyone's mind.
do you think you would get this kind of treatment and access back home if you are not part of a major media group? just to say and dispel a lot of the US government propaganda.
I'm not part of a major media group. I worked for years to get this opportunity to see this bridge being built in my town.
I'm saying if this brings were build in US it's will take two decades to build the Oakland Bay Bridge take decades for California to build that bridge.
