actually, i went on a real date. it was actually my first date ever and his first date ever. it was a night in miami. we went out, we went window shopping along lincoln road. we ate at an expensive restaurant, and then we went and sat on the beach, talking to each other and listening to the crashing of the waves. now that i've written this out, i realize how blessed i was to have this as my first date experience.

I wish for everyone to live a true authentic version of themselves and also to not accept anything less from anyone else. I get that sometimes when people are in love, they forget to think rationally about things. But, just ask yourself why are you putting up with pain and disrespect from someone? Especially if you're sleeping with them... There should be mutual respect, honesty and open communication with every person we interact with, it's sad the world doesn't work like that and it's sad people feel the need to lie. Especially "lovers" that stain our hearts and souls with their deception and indecisiveness. It's fine if you want to live a life where sex doesn't equal a bonding and loving connection and instead want to use it for entertainment, but just make sure the other person is on board with what you're seeking as well. And if you're not on board with it and you think you need something deeper, I think it's important to cut it off instead of trying to change the other person's mind.. I just think you should put yourself first and not damage your mental, emotional and potentially physical health by being around people that don't want the same things as you. It creates a toxic environment and it can be traumatizing.
