    Some of them are not game changer or overpowered, more like a FAIR plays. Eminenace for example you sepend stamina jumping just to get extra 30% damage, that's like using a skill. Which is useful against small or medium size enemies, when your skill set at the time using so much of stamina- and you don't want to spend so much stamina just to kill a small enemy.
    However, on the big enemy it might be better to just climb them and get to their weak points (if you are melee combatant).

  • @AM-uy1ez

    Thing that dragons dogma 2 NEEDS:
    - Better storyline and quests where you can join thiefs guilds or become a vampire or werewolf ect. (like Skyrim / Dragon Age Origins/ Age of Conan / Kingdoms of Amalurs)
    - Better World design: Medieval western world is boring. What would be nice is Eastern style Demon world Humans that have yokai/ demon powers (like Nioh). The world also needs much more interresting NPC with their own story and dialogue.
    - No more pawns. The pawns seem lifeless and dull. Instead give a party option to play with your online friends and form a party together or you could recruit NPC's from the game. There shuld be lots of NPC with voice dialogue that are specialized in diffrent classes that you can recruit on diffrent quests or to fight dungeons.
    - Better enemy AI, enemy difficulty and random enemy spawn locations. Also there shuld be human NPC's who have diffrent classes that you have to fight aswel, only fighting dumb monsters that can't specialize or use weapons gets boring. ( A nemesis AI system like middle earth shadow of war would be very cool)
    - Better balaced combat system: balancing the damage you do to the enemy and the damage the enemy does to you/ stamina regeneration/ poise/ stealth options. (this is what Dark Souls does good except for stealth)
    - An player home where you can design your own house and store stuff in there. Trading with other players in game and a free market where you can buy stuff that other players have sold.
    - PvP: Outside the cities players can kill other players. This would be awesome and would require you to be on the lookout when exiting cities. Also add a Colloseum/ Arena where you can 1vs1 / 5vs5 pvp.
    - Keep the combat/ jumping /grabing / sheathing weapon mechanics. They are awesome and makes you feel like a Ninja. Add Bare hands fist fighting mechanic aswel.
    - Add a [ Kill or Spare, but take all their loot ] mechanics to enemies you have beaten when they lie on the floor (like gothic 3). This will be great for human NPC characters in game or for PvP.
    -Add more classes and class system shuld be expanded and be more in depth. There shuld be a huge skill tree to optimize your build (like Path of Exile).
    - The level up system should be like skyrim where if you are attacking with a sword you level up your sword skill ect.
    - There shuld be a detailed worldmap, fast travel from city to city or have some mounting animals (but done right) and there shuld be a quest book in the pause menu where you have detailed information on every quest location/ city / monster / human NPC ect. Also 3D models of every enemy and NPC and item in your inventory.

      ... so absolutely anything other than Dragon's Dogma. Yeahno.

    • @AM-uy1ez
      @AM-uy1ez Год назад

      @@nevisysbryd7450 Dragons Dogma has alot of good things better than other games . In my opinion the best combat system and the sprinting, jumping, fighting, climbing enemies animations. Striders with bows and daggers who can do hundred kisses or sprint forward attack, magicians who can land multiple meteorites on enemies, it makes dragons dogma so cool but sad to say all the other aspects of the game are dull/ not given as much attention.

    • @nevisysbryd7450
      @nevisysbryd7450 Год назад +6

      @@AM-uy1ez None of those things are unique to Dogma. Scarlet/Hundred/Thousand Kisses and Biting/Cutting/Shearing Wind are almost identical to moves from the .hack games over a decade earlier than Dogma, and many of the other attacks are almost to complete copies of moves from other Capcom games. Many of the seemingly unique spells are almost complete replications of spells from other video games and/or Dungeons and Dragons.
      Being dull is your personal opinion. The storyline is great for being a hands-off approach; it is a different _type_ of roleplaying, not a lack of it.
      Medieval European is not boring. The game is replete with Asian elements, anyways; the Strider/Ranger/Assassin armors are mostly from Arabic and Steppe cultures already, and the game's story and philosophy are steeped in Buddhist/Hindu philosophy already. Besides Nietzsche, the Eternal Return is a rather obvious reference to samsara, with the Arisen's suicide being moksha or nirvana. More NPCs with a more developed story would be great-however, any resources allocated to that is an opportunity costs for other areas of the game.
      Pawns are the _only_ thing that is relatively unique to Dogma, and while they are sorely in need of improvement, they were an excellent addition to the game.
      Shadow of Mordor was _entirely built around_ the nemesis system; it is not suited to all games. The same is true of randomization. Improved enemy AI would certainly be great, however, that is actually quite difficult and resource-intensive to do, so mileage varies.
      DD already had a system comparable to Dark Souls' poise in stagger and knockdown resistance, and did it much better than Dark Souls did.
      We already have the rings for barehanded combat.
      PvP requires an entirely different type of server and is an extremely large investment in development, balancing, additional features, and servers. Unless they plan to reorient at least a plurality of the game to be multiplayer, it is not remotely worth making the game truly multiplayer at all.
      The system of leveling only the skills used creates massive balance issues around players then running into challenges they do not have the tools to overcome. It is a basic problem with open world games in general, and there is no 'right' answer but different types of games that build around it in different ways. The Vocation packages are set up that way for a reason.
      What you are describing is not Dragon's Dogma 2. You are describing multiplayer weaboo The Elder Scrolls Online that keeps a few attack animations and enemy climbing, the latter two being not exclusive nor original to Dogma. What you are describing is not what the general fanbase that made Dragon's Dogma 1 or Online are looking for in a sequel.

    • @AM-uy1ez
      @AM-uy1ez Год назад

      @@nevisysbryd7450 none of those things are unique to dragons dogma....? But they are how they come together. there might be some games that has one aspect of the combat system other games another but how they come together is what makes DD unique. (btw .hack games or other capcom games dont do combat quite like DD no stamina bar for starters) If we follow your thought process then nothing is unique everything is copied from other games like bow and arrows, swords ect. And thats my whole point if they already have many good things from other games combined into the combat system then why not take the best things from other games and incorprate it into the next installment.
      DD Beeing dull isnt only my opinion but its shared by many. From the empty world to the enemies that keep appearing at the same spot over and over. Anyone who played the game intensively can tell you that. No doubt some things will take time and resources but if they want to make the game good then they'll have to do it. DD poise system better than Dark souls? is that supposed to be your opinion?

    • @nevisysbryd7450
      @nevisysbryd7450 Год назад +3

      @@AM-uy1ez The bad and inconsistent handling of poise across the franchise is one of the most controversial elements of Dark Souls' combat systems outside of difficulty. 'Works as intended' was used as a criticism against DS3 specifically related to poise for _years._ Among the complaints I have heard about DD, its stagger/knockdown system is not one of them; to the contrary, its dynamic interplay with shield stability and knocking over enemies for increased access to weakpoints/damage is a beloved feature, especially among those who understand the tactics behind it well.
      If we are arguing about a cohesive whole, then taking out the Western European fantasy makes no sense, as that is fundamental to both games and the anime adaptation. That is a core element. Pawns are more debatable, as they did not have the same kind of presence in Online; they have been present in two of the three entries in the franchise (DD1 and the anime), though, and the game is presumably a sequel to DD1 more than DDO.
      There is an argument against adding in other things because that changes the focus and experience of the game. Open worlds come at the expense of delicately tuned progressions like dungeons, and predictable difficulty curves (outside of scaling enemies, which creates its own problems), which makes for very erratic difficulty spikes and dips. While some additional supplementary systems are desirable for most games, which ones, and how they are set up, are contextual to the core game loop.
      I maintain: what you are talking about is not a sequel to Dragon's Dogma, but an Elder Scrolls-esque mmorpg with some Capcom-styled combat elements.
