Don't know these guys but I'm impressed. Fresh approach and well constructed track . You can actually hear how hard everyone worked to make this an absolutely rock solid tune. At first I thought the pre chorus and chorus were your standard ubiquitous cleans BUT boy was I wrong because they brilliantly set up that sledgehammer change at 02:42 .... killer ..... I immediately clicked opened my downloader ..." oops did I say that out loud " ..... (let's give some love to the boys and girls behind the board on this one too ! ) This was a total team effort and it shows !

They really have northlane vibes or maybe northlane has novelists vibes. Whichever the case may be, this is a banger. Terrorists is still my favorite out of the 3 new releases tho.
Really haven't liked sny of the new songs except this one. Enjoyed some of the vocal melodies and it's the closest one I can picture Matteo's old vocals pairing with. Still, I really am partial to Matteo's era with the band.

I just found the whole situation bizarre because the music doesnt sound far off from what Novelists may have made..I respect whatever reason he decided to part ways but when I think back to Noir, which was their best album IMO, I can't picture them reaching the same heights with the new direction the band is going. 😪 all just IMO, of course. Wish them the best going forward
