  • In the second installment of our Behind The Brand series, brand co-founder Mike Maher shares with us how he’s worked for one thing and one thing only: Taylor Stitch. After graduating college back in the midst of the 2008 housing crisis, Maher packed his bags and shipped out to sunny San Francisco. Since that time, he’s focused all of his efforts on making premium clothing built to last - a mission that’s allowed Taylor Stitch to become the men’s style authority it is today.

As a New England guy who enjoys striking a balance between appearance and function/durability, I love this brand. There are a number of incredibly unique pieces that can make your wardrobe unlike anyone else's without the pricetag of "luxury." This is not to say "cheap" but you certainly get what you pay for. It's nice to get some backstory on these guys. Nice share 👍

Great company, great products. Big fan. Regarding country of manufacture , either the product is good or isn't. I don't care where it's made. I've made my peace with the global economy.

I just bought the dark navy rugby shirt and love it, it reminds me of the old rugby shirt I had in my teens and early twenties right down to the stripe pattern and the rubber buttons and I’m 56 now. Great detail, I will most certainly buy from you again 👍👍

Very much enjoy the TS look and quality. However the word “responsible” and “Made in China” don’t necessarily go together. If there’s one thing Covid should have taught you it’s the need for a stronger US supply chain. Bring the manufacturing back to the states and you’ll be the first brand I go to.

I will no longer support this company. 95 percent of the products are now made overseas. Regardless, of whether that is good for you as a company, that's terrible for US Citizens. Not to mention, the highest mark ups of Any company out there that sources directly from Outside the US. If you want to source from China, that's fine, but we should be paying China prices. Sad to see the direction this company has gone. Switching to OriginMaine and I hope their selection broadens.

It's a shame that they shifted most of their production and quality to China. Made my choice easy to avoid.

Its interesting to listen to a liberal talk fashion. High sustainability, deep thought in manufacturing, quality and oversight, and a commitment to the "regular person's" longevity in brand care. Yet a price point aimed at the rich, you cant make these people up , true liberalism. An aim and vision at how to live your life the right way through product sustainability but only if you have the money to purchase.. You can hear it in his tone. Nice clothes... STOP grand standing, you packed your bags to come to the most expensive area in the country???? BS.. You came from money, save the song and dance.
