- Almost every religion claims to be ancient and to have something to do with the beginning of the universe itself. But these are just claims. As far as the order of things is concerned, religions are hardly ever older than a few thousand years. And the universe and its true history is quite a bit older than that. So it is not the atheist who is forgetting the past, it is the religious person.

@@AashishChansoria Because centuries ago sky appeared much more clear than now, so most of the planets would be visible to our naked eyes. So our ancestors might have added their own fantasies and create stories about "Navagraha". Also,they called the Sun and the moon as "grahas" which they clearly aren't. Even if they simply guessed the existence of these planets, what are you trying to conclude? that they had modern technology? Or that Gods existed back then?
Religions were born to guide Humanity towards the righteous path but today the Religion is being used as a tool for RACISM..

हमारे पूर्वज ने धर्म बनाया और इसमें किसी को क्या दिक्कत है।
आज भारत में क्राइम रेट दूसरे देशों की तुलना में काफी कम है, रेप और मर्डर की संख्या प्रति लाख व्यक्ति में बहुत कम है क्यों? क्योंकि लोग धर्म में विश्वास रखते है वो इस चीज में विश्वास रखते है की जैसा करेगें वैसा पाएंगे।
खुद को नास्तिक मानने वाले धर्म को क्वेश्चन कर सही है कोई दिक्कत नही लेकिन fact के साथ।
परंपरा धर्म हो जरूरी नहीं है।
और आज लोग आज पास में जो ट्रेडिशन चला आ रहा उसको धर्म बताने पे लगे है और उसका विरोध कर रहे की धर्म गलत है।
धर्म है क्या पहले ये समझे और फिर बोले की इसमें क्या गलत है

Interesting perspective, I agree on most of your points. But for the modern Hindu faith i wanna share my perspective - Since ancient times Hindu Faith does have an evolutionary and flexible nature. "Dharyate Iti Dharma" - Dharm ko Dharan kara jata hain. The meaning of Dharm is not religion as per shastras. Religion is a modern connotation used for it. I won't be speaking for a whole community but as much i've read - Dharm wahi hain jo Samay, Paristhithi aur Kaal ke hisab se badal jaye.
I'll try to explain it in detail.
Homo Sapiens evolved around 25 lakh years ago. Around 70,000 years ago the use of language was developed. Neolithic revolution took place around 10,000 years ago. And then around 2000 BCE Philosophy is said to be traced in the Indian Subcontinent. Around 6th Century for the Western part of the world. (Thales)
It is said that philosophy is the mother of all sciences and disciplines. And the origins of modern Hindu faith can be traced back to the Vedic or Pre Vedic Age (1500 BCE) THIS WAS THE FIRST PHASE OF INDIC PHILOSOPHY.
From their evolved the Age of Upanishads - from where almost all modern Hindu beliefs can be traced.
Then happened the development of the 9 Indic Schools of Philosophy. Out of which 6 were Orthodox and 3 were Hetrodox. (here atheism means that they did not believed in the Vedas as supreme authority)
Then the advent of Islam and further evolution of the Vedic tradition in the form of Advait Vedant, Dwaitvad, Sikhism.
Then happened the Renaissance : around 19th Century to take a stand against the foreign religions, all these sects which were divided but had common roots were merged into one umbrella which Paul Hacker called Neo Hinduism/ Neo Vedanta. Which is modern day Hinduism.
Then the struggle for equality (Arya Samaj, Brahm Samaj, Swami Vivekanand ji, Navyana Buddhism)
So I don't see a rigid, non changable, non questionable religion here. This is a tradition of Debates, Proofs and Criticism of what's outdated and not required.

But if you'll compare it with the age of universe, it actually is modern in that sense. But as history and philosophy is concerned it is ancient.
And yes i believe we as the descendants of such great ancestors should carry forward their legacy of debate, criticism, logic, with merging all information and tools present to us.

The rites rituals and dogmas of All Organised Religions more or less do not comply with the Basic principles of Human rights and Women's at large. They are opposed to all the new ideas, reviews, revisions and reforms.

What I think let me tell in 2 different theories:
This World is Matrix, we are living in Simulation while people who are beyond this Matrix are just looking at us and understanding the nature of Human Psychology and comparing with Themselves.
They added Gods in different Religions, and they let people who are living in Matrix to learn about Religion and God. They're trying to understand what Human chooses between Religion and Science.
Otherwise Real Gods are those who are Beyond Matrix.

Einstein didn’t believe in any religious god. He believed in god of spinoza which is very different from Allah.
God of Spinoza doesn’t concern himself with the fate and doings of mankind.
Allah on the other hand claims that he’s the one doing everything. Both are polar opposites.

Your question seems so naive, but that's not your fault. Let me tell you that in Hindu scriptures, there is no mention of a single God. They primarily focus on the philosophy of life and how to live a better life. Unfortunately, 99% of people don't understand what Hinduism is truly about and criticize it just to seem cool, without actually knowing anything about it. The gods you're referring to, who supposedly can or cannot do certain things, are inherited from stories meant to convey morals and ethics to future generations.
So don't try to be cool and make assumptions about anything without knowing it.

you should have taken you physics class. While current science may not have all the answers about the universe and its origins, it's logical to believe that future advancements will continue to expand our understanding.

Well I don't agree because there are some predictions mention in Hadith by Prophet which seems to be true for eg Fight regarding the Holy Land of Palestine between Muslims and Jews and Christians. And presently the burning issue is about this. What's your take on this??

Those who follow Sanatana, often say that it liberates us by providing us the concept of 'धार्यो इति धर्म:' loosely translated as what you bring into practice is your true religion.

If what you bring into practice is considered religion, then along with period of advaita or other schools of philosophy... There also have been period of sati, caste system.... Funny thing is, people would gladly claim adi sankar's practice being hindu- but would break their sweat in trying to lay out how sati was instead voluntary, caste system was british... That's just called cherry picking.

I completely agree and I am not an atheist. I see my beliefs as not “what was” but “what is”. I don’t think of “what will be” first ne personally. But I think whether I can work to make things better for everyone. Sor there's some value i would like to add. Here are some points that i would discuss since i have read various philosophic scriptures and philosophies.
1. WORLD - When scriptures says about the world then it doesn't mean the physical reality totally instead what it implies is the world in form of preception. Humans don't see world as merely objects but as function or as an role.
2. Values and end of civilization - When the religion says that rejecting values will be the end of humanity , what they means is that if humans rejects a way of life in a specefic environment they might be prone to self destruction. Now some values are completely specefic to an environment but the philosophy of religion survives because it provides a broader approach. However majority does not understand at all in a conscious sense.
3.Existence of religion - When we talk about absence of religion in animals , we automatically declare that humans are animals . If it was to be true then no science would've been possible at all . My point here is that naturally their is a heirarchy in animals ,but when it comes to humans the needs of humans for hierarchy evolves because we are not as same as animals and we need a structure that provides certain code of conduct that ensures our max probability of survival and also provides a philosophic field.

What if I say ancient people what they felt and believed thousands of years ago , they passed such info to generations thru’ idols and speeches or just memorisation , and later on when people got to know about writing and grammar they recorded those in physical form. My cousin had this corn(a pimple) on his skin on his foot he applied a lot of creams and took medicine but those creams would only subdue the corn it would grow after sometime and would never go away. Then someone told his mother to tell him to go to a temple and do something there I don't remember the details. So after he went to the temple and did what he was told to do.
