I've just had my 2023 model delivered and it took me much longer to take the protective cardboard off the legs than it it took me to put the chair together😉. Personally, I think the new design with the upright poles being one piece and the back supports being already integrated into the seat fabric is a much better idea and makes assembly and disassembly an absolute breeze. I didn't time myself but in less than five minutes I had it assembled, had a nice relaxing sit in it, tried the reclining function a few times, had a gentle swing, got in and out a few times to see how easy it was (I have problems with my knees and hip so ease of access is important) and packed it away. Very comfortable. I do overnight trips with my recumbent trike and trailer doing night sky time lapse photography so this will be an important addition to my gear giving me somewhere to sit in comfort, watch the night sky and have 40 winks😁
Is there an easier way to sit on the chair? I follow the hold here indicators on the armrests but whenever I begin to sit, it’s pinching my fingers caught in between the vertical bars and the armrests.
@@NEMOEquipmentInc - astonishing customer service. New rods 1/2” shorter arrived and fit perfectly. The quality and comfort of this chair is astonishing. The only issue I see is that it’s going to take a surgeon to cut my supremely happy body out of this chair. We are going to order another one so Judy and I won’t fight over it.
@@bobshoe1 I shot them an email about this and am so happy to see your request and the shorter rods resolved the issue. I look forward to the same. Otherwise, the struggle is real :)
I cannot get the poles into the pockets by the neck area. I'm on my second chair from REI. The first one their workers literally punched a hole through trying to get the poles through the back/neck area pockets.
@@christianb8228 Hi Christian! There was a small percentage of a run of chairs last year that had stitching just a BIT too long. If you happen to get one of those we expedite shorter poles to you!
Just ordered one through Down Under Camping (Aussie camp store) and cannot wait to use this for a lifetime of relaxing at camp, family picnic’s, etc

Getting 2.. just waiting on the mail. Cant wait! lol
Awesome i am buying it now!!
Its so beautiful!!
What is the weight? For short, fair weather trips this could be used in lieu of a tent hammock/cowboy camp??

Can’t get the two rods back supports into the back? After sliding rod bottom into the pocket the top is a bit too long to slip into the top pocket?
Hi there! Shoot us an email at journey@nemoequipment.com with your information and we can get some shorter poles to you!

Recliner chair ad video... that doesn't really show... someone reclining?
I would've liked to see someone stand up out of the chair.
@@TasHikingAdventures disagree. I can’t get out once I’m in…too comfortable.
