Yay, Legion! The game where its not decided in the first 2 turns and half your army does not get wiped because someone takes first turn. Love these game mechanics! Awesome table awesome army, some little derps. Great video :D
First battle report on SW that I understood everything being played out. I also appreciate the Editor's Notes when something was played incorrectly. Thank you for an awesome battle.
Wow, so many things I’m enjoying and I haven’t even seen all of it. Love how you are proxying models for the sake of the story/rule of cool. The addition of the TIE Interceptor is neat, and the transition being a lightsaber swipe is just so cool!
So happy to see more of Star Wars Legion in this channel. Awesome match and report. About rules, in just a pair of attacks I think you applied impact first and then cover, but cover is applied before rules that modify dice results. That aside, this report felt so smooth, and I like the use of proxies for more narrative feels instead of being enclosed to just what exists right now.
Nick seems like the best opponent ever! He doesn't get mad about losing units or get salty when the dice don't go his way. He is just there for a good thematic battle and a good game. We should all be more like Nick when playing :)
Great episode! exited to see more legion on the channel, but something I noticed: unless otherwise specified, keywords apply to all dice in an attack pool, so with rocket launcher fire for example, regular blasters can benefit from the impact. also, while it didn't matter this time, low profile has had it's rules changed, so checking FAQs would help. Edit: looked at the rules and noticed the repulsor moves were done correctly.
22:30 I don't know if y'all know this, but force choke allows you to single out the individual non-leader trooper model you assign the wound to, rather than simply giving the entire unit 1 wound. So you could have chosen the Z-6 trooper to remove from the field.
Really awesome video! You guys got me into this game. My FLGS had a great Revenge of the Fifth deal, so managed to snag the core set, inferno squad, shore troopers, alternate Vader, e-web heavy, specialists, and Kallus, all for $150, Painting it all up now!
Whoa. What a cool episode guys! The paintjobs, cool story, insane table, spfx, editing... top notch. Makes for a very enjoyable and easy to watch vid. Glad to know more are coming!
I love your videos. The production value is so high, but more importantly, it makes a battle report easy to watch. Nice smooth action flow with just enough detail to follow along. Substituting Ahsoka, Hera, and the TIE Interceptor was brilliant! Amazing how the battle came down to the Vader/Ahsoka showdown. Can’t believe all the saves you guys were making…
Hey Tabletop gang, really love the battle report, Legion is the BEST! Just a suggestion, you should put your lists in the description so that people can see what list building looks like in this game and so that we can see all the specific upgrades you're using. Keep up the Legion!!!
I love the more narrative flavors you did by using counts as models! Though the music was a bit overpowering at least at the beginning where all the list explanations are.
Loved it - great to see more legion content. I enjoy 40k and you guys do great battle reports but Legion always feels a lot closer and plays better in my opinion- alternate activations help a lot!
So glad to see Star Wars Legion love. My 3 favorite wargames right now are A Song of Ice and Fire (for fantasy), SW Legion (for sci-fi), and Marvel Crisis Protocol (for skirmish). If you haven't played them, give them a try.
What is this channel....what are these effects...how cool is this...subscribed!!!! Loving how you have subbed in current character stats to new models...that and awsome way to do it.
i love how much effort goes into these videos, I wish more channels were like this cause I am so entertained watching what you guys put out. good job!!!
Amazing! I’m a fan of 40K and legion, so you guys are the perfect channel!! I’d like to point out that death troopers get an aim token for standbys, not movement and the rebel commandos should have got suppression tokens when the TIE interceptor shot them. A tip for death troopers, use the focus fire upgrade, it’s free and gives you range 4 suppressive shots on everyone, and range 2 red dice, with blast. Great effects, board, minis and gameplay overall! 👍
Really enjoyed this. Starting to get into Star Wars Legion myself so it's nice to see how the game's played. Would love to see a clone wars battle reports in the future.
Just found this channel, WOW is all I can say this was amazing to watch and has totally got me jazzed up to start playing this game and making custom terrain for it. Any videos on how you guys make the terrain and special stuff you use on the table ?
Keep the Legion content coming, this is very nicely produced. Also, not a big deal, but the tokens you used for Surge tokens were actually Standby tokens. Again, as long as you both knew what it was, didn't change the game at all. Cheers!
Amazing video! I hope to see more legion stuff soon! One point though is in the opening you seemed quite drowned out by the music and sound effects, honestly otherwise though great work stunningpaint jobs and terrain!
Think there’s some missing rules like sharpshooter on snipers, and how aims work. You reroll 2 dice and add 1 more reroll per precise. I may have missed it but seemed like those were done wrong but it’s a fun video and great to see legion love
My goodness, the effects, the models, just everything is gorgeous and amazing! Feels like a real battle
Thank you! That brings us much joy to hear stuff like that from people watching.
Until he started dropping his troops like a 3 year old, after Interceptor attack.

Nick being a chopper fan just makes sense, the explosions the slapstick comedy. This pleases me
He’s awesome!
Don’t forget the swearing like a sailor!
Brother, that table. That's truly one of the most beautiful things I've seen.
Yay, Legion! The game where its not decided in the first 2 turns and half your army does not get wiped because someone takes first turn. Love these game mechanics! Awesome table awesome army, some little derps. Great video :D
This is one of the reasons im picking it up.

Just watched the intro but had to say that table set up looks amazing. You guys really knock it out the park with your table scenery, buildings, etc.
I like how the lightsaber battle actually seemed real because of how many times they got injured and didn't die until multiple fights later.
Glad to see more legion content! Was hoping another vid after how great the last one was.
I just love it when you two face off, such great players and sportsmanship..
If im not mistaken its the entire attack pool that gains a keyword when you add a weapon with for example velocity
I think high velocity specifies that you only get high velocity if every weapon in the attack pool has it
High Velocity is indeed one of the exceptions to that keyword sharing.
So happy to see more of Star Wars Legion in this channel. Awesome match and report.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Rebels character proxies! Great quality & energy, as always.
This was freaking amazing guys. The terrain was awesome. And the whole battle was just very cinematic, please do more of this!

Well that changes things a little! Good to note. Thanks!
I love the use of plastic cups to give the additional height above table top. Hobby tip to store in the back of the mind!
