This scene wrecked me the first time I watched. From Nell's first expression, she knows he's not real; but she misses him so much she doesn't care. Heartbreaking.
This scene made me felt bad for her. She had the worst experienced in their family and she ended up hanging herself. And in the end she saved her siblings, she didn't hold grudges towards her siblings when no one believe in her.
One scene she’s reuniting with her lost love and the other she’s dancing with ghosts in an overgrown, dark, and abandoned house…. So sad, heartbreaking, frightening, and beautiful… this show is a masterpiece
Ok, this scene is beautiful and scary/horror at same time....but....only her mum and her husband are dead. Why her father, her brothers and sisters are there? 🤦🏻♀️ It's no sense, exspecially because there are the house's ghosts (for example the tall man with the hat)....but the rest of her family are live not dead. Why they are there? What are they? Imaginations or what else? 🤦🏻♀️
@@SummerSummoner the house is making her see what she wants to see, so that it can lure her deeper inside and eventually consume her. It consumed Olivia by creating a sense of dread and paranoia until it twisted her perception of reality, but with Nell it did the opposite. It created a false sense of comfort and love.
i remember this scene was playing when my mum walked into my room to check on me a few years ago. she really loved the song. i played it at her ceremony at the crematorium in August last year. i miss her so much. nell's end speech means so much more to me now. we loved each other completely. the rest is just confetti.
I really like the mirroring of how in this hallucination, her siblings all apologize and say what Nell thinks she wants to hear. But in the final episode, after she's made peace and sort of 'ascended' she's the one to comfort them and correct their apologies. "Nothing you said would've made a difference." "They weren't our last" etc. It's like she's moced past needing apologies and now understands the hurt they all individually carry.
My late sister sent this to me a while ago before she had cancer and now every time I watch this scene I can’t help but cry because she left behind her partner of 20 years and her 6 year old. It breaks my heart knowing they wish to have her back.
Everyones' expressions are slightly off. It's well-done. You already know it's an illusion, but even in the context of the scene, you know something's not right. Mike Flanagan's been honing his craft since Oculus ten years ago (recommended), and he's really good at this.
Honestly what makes this scene more tragic is we can assume that the people who die in the house stay trapped in the house, so she may never see her husband again

Absolutely floored me. Wasn't expecting it at all. I do love a good cry ❤😂
This episode was more sad more than scary, and beautiful too.
The whole thing was more sad than scary I cried on most of the episodes
@@mikeadyer Family trauma is a horrifying thing.
This scene is emotional but oh god it's so intense and the she is dancing in that house in the dark is so...
Dark ?
Ominous, insidious....
Like you're waiting to jump out and grab her right then and there.
Waiting for -it- to grab her
This scene made me felt bad for her. She had the worst experienced in their family and she ended up hanging herself. And in the end she saved her siblings, she didn't hold grudges towards her siblings when no one believe in her.
Well in fairness, she didn't deliberately hang herself... the house took over her

I'm a mom. She loved you so much, beyond words, and I know she loved that you shared that song with her.
@@sitcomchristian6886 thank you so much.

I bawled at this episode. Because seeing your love again after death, I can’t even imagine that feeling.
She had the purest and kindest heart and she definitely deserved better!
THIS SCENE MADE ME CRY PLS-
her and arthur deserved the happiest ending ever 🥺
So true!
I’m crying again watching this
Me too
I feel like Luke has the biggest heart out of all of them, except for Nell.
the way they shot this whole show just had my jaw in the floor the whole time it’s so beautifully and mystically done it really is breathtaking

Every time I re-watch the entire series, I cry more and more-
ok

This scene was so beautiful and so sad at the same time. I cried! What an amazing TV series ️ ❤️
Nell's so beautiful and cute. She deserved so much better
I still cry at the end every single time, there’s nothing like this, I absolutely loved this show, still do, but it’s left me wanting more ❤
Just to mention that Luke recovered thanks to Nelly, indeed. So was that a moment that he revealed this to her?
keep coming back to this… such a beautiful series
This show was so darkly emotional 😞
I remember waking up my roommate from my crying
2:02 the Lasser glass from oculus..... Ha!! This house was so fucking haunted!!
Nah I didn't think I'd cry watching a horror series
The night I watched this episode, I literally couldn't sleep.
I cried during this scene… now I cry every time I hear “Heavenly Day”

the twins just wrecked me. every brother/sister sibling pair will know
To quote Dr. Psycho - "I'M FEELING FEELINGS!"
Reminds me of Anastasia
Ugh why do I do this to myself. I'm bawling.
Me dancing with the ghost of my hopes and dreams
Than she went Dancing with the dead...
If only they had the chance to really tell her all this:(
1:26 that cut ruins all
Had to because of the song. When I uploaded the full clip it was blocked in some countries for copyright
@@BlazeyyPlayz That’s sad :(

They’re hallucinations the house is creating to keep her complacent.
What is the song call?

The mom is so evil for that...
Esta escena se me hizo super bizzarra
I still cry whenever I see this scene ;( and this will be my wedding song once I find that one girl!
