INSIDER I loved this one!!! During the MCAT, in the critical reading section, there was a passage about documentary sound design; particularly how ultimately the goal of a documentary is generally to convey truth. However, sometimes artificial, enhanced, or contrived sounds are necessary when the actual sound doesn’t support this goal or is unavailable, not of the right quality, etc.. So Tl;dr it’d be interesting to see an episode about how documentarians do sound design 😁

No. If you practice this much you will know your lines and everyone else's. I remember lines from high school plays I was in and I'm 24. Dances and songs too 😭
This show has a good side and a bad side. The good side is that it's one of a lifetime finding, the bad is that it makes any other series shitty to me and I can't enjoy anything else.

Without a doubt the best Netflix original show to date. I'm not a massive fan of horror in general, but this show is so well made in every regard, it hooked me hard.
Three years later and this show is still a masterpiece. I will never forget this series. The script, just everything was perfect. It’s unlike anything I’ve ever seen before. Huge fan of Mike Flanagans work. Anything he’s producing, I’m WATCHING.

This show had very theater-esque aspects to it, the long one take scenes, the dramatic emotional monologues, and the staging/blocking. This is what really made me enjoy this show.
The second season of AHS: Asylum is really good, actually the best season, just as good as Hill House. I would say the first season: Murder house is inspired by the Hill House book, but I still need something more. The rest 6 seasons is not that good. For me, the latest season is the worst one.
This entire episode made me clap my hands. I found myself being scared and mesmerized by how well it was done. Not to forget that I'm still shocked at who the bend neck lady was.😱😱😱😱
Remember Actors don’t always go by the script lines, they sometimes they just say what the character would say or do. Sometimes the director will tell the actor(s) to just roll with it and don’t say what’s on the script because a change was made.
this is genius in every way. this entire show is genius but the making of this episode is mind-blowing. the blocking is on a whole other level, the cues, the camera movements. and kudos to the actors too, really, great stuff.
Watching episode 6, I did assume this episode is gonna blow up, but the amount of critical acclaim it received is nothing short of an appraisal. It definitely serves justice to Jackson's modern classic.
Simply magnificent. I can't imagine the pressure they all felt at the thought that one tiny mistake would screw everything up at any point. Amazing acting, amazing choreography, amazing everything. Possibly the best episode in any of the shows I've watched so far. Kudos to these people for creating this work of art.
The music they used just added so much depth to the atmosphere as well. One of my favorite episodes in a horror show next to the ending of Penny Dreadful.

All of the actors, but especially the children were amazing just because we are talking about premature ages that managed to go through all this pressure and difficulties with such a professional level. imagine getting through 15 minutes of it and then someone forgot a line

It only took them one time to get it right. But that would suck if someone did mess up.
