Spearfishing From Cobble Beach, Newport, Oregon USA

My spearfishing buddy Dan got 1 good sized Black Rockfish whilst being tossed and churned in the waves. He attempted other shots on more fish but his speargun malfunctioned…not the safety because his gun doesnt have one. I forgot my fins of all things to forget 🤦‍♂️ We even tried a pair of Walmart fins and that was goofy to say the least. We were confident we’d have gotten more fish had I of brought my fins.

Yup. We shore dove from the north side late in the day the day prior and had no luck.
