Before connecting your phone to your PC via USB cable you need to remove your SIM card from your phone!! That's why you didn't get a list of CSC codes in the drop down list in the SamFw FRP software tool.

In South Africa the S22 Ultra is STILL sitting on the 1 October security patch and it is already MID DECEMBER! Our phones haven't gotten the November or December security patch nor did it receive the Android 14 and One UI 6 update. People now resort to changing their phone's CSC in order to get these updates. It's a pity that Samsung doesn't care about their customer base in Africa.

There are some CSC not compatible with the updates. For example, EUX to INS. You can: 1. Switch back to the old CSC to update and switch to the new CSC again 2. Manually update via Odin (ruclips.net/video/mq9qzGOh5oM/видео.htmlsi=b3TrE_ABa64KM20o) and start getting updates again 3. Update via Smart Switch for PC (ruclips.net/video/lJXNn-tZ_Bk/видео.htmlsi=Wpbls5h_WqcMi9v2)

Previously i just used the single CSC XID firmware to enable recording but wasn't as good as multi OXM for this region

I've done this and changed from XFA (forgotten Africa region) to THL. Got all the latest updates that Samsung is not rolling out to the S22 series in Africa. But THL doesn't support Samsung Wallet. So I changed back to XFA. The January Security patch is supposed to be out already and of course XFA is still sitting on 1 October security patch. Now I want to know which CSC I can change to permanently so that I get the updates on time but where Samsung Wallet will also work? I was thinking ANY which is South Korea. Anyone have some advice?

Wifi calling wasn't working and we need it in the very rural area we live in (we have to drive a mile down the road for cell signal). I flashed to U1 but it still showed TMB/TMB/TMB and no wifi calling. Using your guide, I flashed to XAA, it still didn't give me wifi calling. It showed XAA/XAA/TMB. I flashed again, using VZW and It instantly gave me wifi calling.

Depends on the CSC. If you notice that you aren't getting updates, you can go back to your old CSC or try another CSC that supports updates + call recording.

I have EUX/-/EUX/OPV and am not receiving any OTA updates and I have Orange carrier branding on my newly bought unlocked S23. Also I can't use Samsung Pay. Do an update via Odin (ruclips.net/video/lJXNn-tZ_Bk/видео.htmlsi=Wpbls5h_WqcMi9v2) with the new CSC, and you should get updates back. You may do a clean install, if you'd like, by using CSC_ (data will be wiped, thus back up!).
i changed my csc from TNL to THL, i got the call recording, but when i installed samsung pay it loads then it shows this: "Samsung Pay isn't supported on your phone." although i have a galaxy s21.
Samsung Pay checks your SIM as well and noticed that it isn't compatible. I suggest you try other countries until both work. Or sacrifice one for another (call recording vs Samsung Pay).
Does this work for Galaxy S9? Mine says Lock status : NONE CSC : VO2 When I change CSC with SamFw, to AFR, it says "CHANGED SUCCESSFULY" but after rebooting it still goes back to VO2...kindly assist.

Unfortunately you cannot change the manufacturer CSC. You can flash using the CSC_ file instead of HOME_CSC_ (your data will be wiped) to get OTA updates.

Normally, yes. Unless you change it to INS (Indian) firmware, which has a different build number. You will have to update manually once via Odin (ruclips.net/video/mq9qzGOh5oM/видео.htmlsi=Atc4IggaT2cu7N3L) and you will be back to automatic updates.
I use SM-S901U1 After change CSC XAA to GCF Within a Few Seconds after inserting the sim I receive "Sim Card inserted Restart phone to switch to sim settings" as the only option. I cannot escape this message. After reset i was back XAA. Please help

Hello, what CSC are you trying to change to? You have a US model and can't switch to European/Asia CSC.

If you have a US device, then you must use only US CSC. XAA is Unlocked if you are living outside the US.

Do an update via Odin (ruclips.net/video/lJXNn-tZ_Bk/видео.htmlsi=Wpbls5h_WqcMi9v2) with the new CSC, and you should get updates back.
You may do a clean install, if you'd like, by using CSC_ (data will be wiped, thus back up!).
i changed my csc from TNL to THL, i got the call recording, but when i installed samsung pay it loads then it shows this: "Samsung Pay isn't supported on your phone." although i have a galaxy s21.
Samsung Pay checks your SIM as well and noticed that it isn't compatible.
I suggest you try other countries until both work. Or sacrifice one for another (call recording vs Samsung Pay).

Doesn't work for my Note20 ultra. change the CSC to thailand, it reboots and the option still isn't there. It reverts back to my default CSC
I'm stuck with a Galaxy S9 I bought in eBay, only to realize after replacing the screen that it's network locked to VodafoneUK.
It needs MCK code now & unlock, I would really appreciate assistance on this bcoz now the phone is of no use and very expensive to ship back to UK from Kenya.

Unfortunately you cannot change the manufacturer CSC.
You can flash using the CSC_ file instead of HOME_CSC_ (your data will be wiped) to get OTA updates.

Normally, yes. Unless you change it to INS (Indian) firmware, which has a different build number. You will have to update manually once via Odin (ruclips.net/video/mq9qzGOh5oM/видео.htmlsi=Atc4IggaT2cu7N3L) and you will be back to automatic updates.
I use SM-S901U1 After change CSC XAA to GCF Within a Few Seconds after inserting the sim I receive "Sim Card inserted Restart phone to switch to sim settings" as the only option. I cannot escape this message.
After reset i was back XAA.
