I have changed the csc from EUX to SEK on my S22U for 8 months now with the same way.There was a delay of about 5 days in OTA updates but it is worth it to have native call recording.
I did this this about 20 times for a SM-S918U1 phone but was unsuccessful because I was trying to force an unsupported CSC into the phone. Many times the SamFW tool said CSC changed to INS, but after the reboot I confirmed that the CSC didn't change. Does anyone know anyway to force a CSC change on the U1 version Samsung?
I've suffered from last 4 years. I tried many softwares and many possible methods as well. But none of them worked for me. Finally, I'm able to record call in my s22 ultra. Thank you
Latest update - This works perfectly. Follow every step mentioned in video. Changed csc from XSG to INS in S23 Ultra. One more thing, my phone did not reboot at the end of procedure, so I waited for 5 mins and then manually rebooted. Thanks.

It worked as expected, I have changed to INS- India CSC after May update. I was on EUX. Call recording works smoothly, Samsung Good Lock and its customization works now Regarding OTA, I can tell you only after June update
Is it safe? My device is from Muscat oman...so to enable call recording I should install INS ...csc? By the way what's csc and does it effect anything? In terms of updates ?
@adithyadasnair I have moved to THL Thailad CSC as the INS was taking so much time to release the June update. With THL, everything works and we can expect quicker updates than INS. If you are in the region that uses google Wallet, with INS CSC, google wallet will not work.With INS CSC only google pay will work

Hi, I am from Bangladesh. Call recording feature is available in Bangladesh for official device but it's more than $2000 due to huge import tax. I purchase a set from DXB & using it in Bangladesh without call recording feature. Just apply this method & it just working fine. I have used INS (India) as BNG (Bangladesh) is not available. Hi I'm from Guyana I have the s23 ultra s918b/ds We have volte now but I there's no volte option on my phone. If would to flash a different firmware for a different country will the volte option be available
You should not install OTA update after changing the csc code, because it will mess up the firmware version and work profile, google wallet will not work. As the device becomes uncertified in play store. The only way to fix it is to flash the original firmware using Odin. I advice NOT to change the CSC code.

What is the difference between what you make the one exist on the phone and what is useful for? Quality or something else? Cause i can see the call recording menu in the settings and everything you show without change anything, so is the point recording quality?

In some regions (like USA), govt. has banned Call Recording saying it is against "PRIVACY" (which is just stupid) thus Samsung blocks the feature in such a region. Changing CSC is basically you are changing the region of the device so the Phone app thinks you are in a different region where Call Recording is allowed and thus activates the feature. in your case THL means Thailand, where if Call Recording is allowed, the feature is also available.

It seems that in your region you are not able to use THL CSC and others with native call rec enabled... I guess the only solution is for none native call rec

@Travis - I bought a Samsung Fold from South Korea when the phone was initially launched and was not available in the US. This phone came with a built-in call recorder as it's legal in South Korea. I hope this helps.

Yes, that's what I did. Changed to SEK tested it, then went back to EUX.

Should not. Consult CSC codes in the video description,.there are combinations of features like Spay, Call.rec and SPAM and etc.

If you see it, you have it, this is to enable it first and foremost.

Hello Sir, I have S23 Ultra which I bought from Dubai and I want to use it in India. My device shows "SAOMC_SM-S918B_OXM_XSG_14_0012. So which CSC should I switch to have all features like Working call recorder, SPay, Call ID and OTA Updates.

Hi, my s23 Ultra has a CSC specified as BRI. I only get TGY as the other option with Samfw tool. Any solutions to this problem. None of those two CSCs support call recording. thanks in advance.
It seems that in your region you are not able to use THL CSC and others with native call rec enabled... I guess the only solution is for none native call rec

I also wanted to see if anyone knew where I make be able to purchase a s23 ultra that allows native recording and dual sim card capability. Samsung in the U.S said that it has a physical sim slot and a esim but I can't run them both simultaneously. Again, feedback from any of you that can point me in the right direction! @Travis - I bought a Samsung Fold from South Korea when the phone was initially launched and was not available in the US. This phone came with a built-in call recorder as it's legal in South Korea. I hope this helps.
