It was amazing! Not only a feat for a performer to keep the energy of so many characters without any break but a really engaging take on the material too!
Hey Kelly, loved to see this video set up:) more real life:)) I wonder do you still use Numbuzin 5 serum and will you release an update on its results?:)
Hi Kelly! Oh that mist looks so good with the peptides! Of course I just placed a Yesstyle order yesterday 😂. Would love to see a video of KBeauty makeup faves, what would you recommend from Yesstyle. Or a video about products you’d repurchase for summertime. ❤❤❤
I have extremely dry dehydrated skin and live in a dry climate with hard water 😭 I've put a filter under my skin that has helped a bit but it still really sucks
Hi big fan of you ❤ I have qustion Its ok to use sk2 under eye or neck ? Becase what i undstan that sk2 is lite exfoliant...is m i right ? Thanks for all year best info....😊
@@KellyDriscoll you are very kind person Thanks for reply You are not just beauty full your heart is also beautyful... Thanks for all your you tube content
I have oily/combo (also occasionally dehydrated) skin and I like it as a night cream because it doesn’t leave my face shiny and just kinda hugs in all my layers at the end. And even in this last Great Plains winter (dry, windy, 10-40 Fahrenheit, +/- 0 Celsius), I appreciated it as a day moisturizer to insulate from wind burn 🤷🏽♀️ otherwise agree with Kelley for sure definitely too heavy for oily/combo skin in normal/warmer/humid weather
LOL I appreciate the “behind the scenes” realness 😂 I’d actually love a video/YTshort (maybe you have a podcast episode on it?) about your camera(s) setup, equipment, editing software/process, tips & tricks, how you got started/mistakes you made early on, etc! Ya know, more of the content creator magic we don’t necessarily see! 👀 Also question: as someone who is also prone to the occasional breakout/pore congestion, do you/should you incorporate an “anti-acne” ingredient in both your morning AND night routines with all the ceramide-barrier-care-yummy-goodness? For example, I try to use azelaic acid (10%) in both AM & PM routines to try to keep my pores clear? Or like a serum with an LHA/PHA or green tea toner/essence in the AM, retinoid PM? Or a gentle BHA cleanser in the AM without any “actives” in the rest of the routine? OR do you find that just using “anti acne” ingredients (green tea, sulfur, calamine, benzoyl peroxide, azelaic acid, salicylic acid, retinoids, etc) in the PM is sufficient to prevent pore congestion/breakouts despite a ceramide-cholesterol-fatty alcohol-rich routine for barrier support? Love to know your thoughts 🥰💙
Haha it's as real as it gets in this video! I don't have a video on my setup, I'm currently in the process of slowly upgrading because the standard is always changing! But currently, I'm using Sony mirrorless camera, VZ1 for travel and shorts, Sony A7III for my regular videos. Rode is my go-to for mics on video and podcasting. Adobe Premiere for editing. As far as juggling anti-acne stuff, I personally choose 1 potent ingredient that can cover the majority of my needs. For me it's Tretinoin and I prioritize that ingredient in my core skincare routines throughout the week. For the second active it's important that it compliments your goals (too many people try to throw everything at their face and ignore what the ingredients actually do). So for some, it might be a BHA toner or gentler LHA. It could also be non-exfoliating actives like propolis and green tea for healing/soothing. The trick is to resist the need to throw everything at your face all at once and learn how 1 ingredient helps, then add slowly as necessary.
I think that’d be a cool podcast episode, maybe with another content creator (like the episode about sponsorships and how y’all make money as creators with MadAboutSkin was super cool and insightful)! I actually thought about being more intentional about creating content to share my hobbies (I bought a new Sony camera to replace my older noisy DSLR and Rode mic, both of which make excellent paperweights btw 😬😅), but it was the editing that really got me hung up! Having to purchase software to edit on my laptop versus filming and tediously editing on an iPhone with limited after-effects… all so overwhelming.. but creators like you are so inspiring! The dedication to the craft 😌 And YES! So true about being selective. I’ve had to learn the hard way that more is NOT better when it comes to actives 😅 I’m finding that with the azaleic acid AM & PM and the adapalene PM, I don’t really have a place for AHAs/BHAs in my routine anymore? But BOY did I try to keep using my lactic acid serums (to my detriment) 🥲 good to know that it’s okay to let those things fall out of my routine and that I’m not necessarily missing out on benefits by not using “one of each category” of skincare in my routines regularly. Just so my goodies to try it can get confusing sometimes!

Love your morning routine Kelly! Do you by chance bring a shower filter head with you to filter out the hard water when travelling?
I don't and honestly, I like to travel light so it doesn't sound like something I would want to pack!
Lovely video!!! Thank you Kelly :)
Glad you enjoyed it!❤
I have extremely dry dehydrated skin and live in a dry climate with hard water 😭 I've put a filter under my skin that has helped a bit but it still really sucks
I couldn't believe how much the water affected my skin and hair! It's good you got a filter!

Is iilliyoon moisturizer best for oily and combo ,acne skin??
No it's for more dry skin types! Illiyoon does have a lighter lotion version and I think even a gel that would likely suit your needs better.
