I really enjoy the star ratings Kelly. I also really appreciate your creativity. Even if a product doesn't work or isn't needed for your face you always make an effort to find a use for it.
Tipp: use the numbuzin 1 toner on itchy scalp. It calms it down and reduces the redness without ruining your hair (it dries like water). It's very watery, so it's best applied with an applicator and definitely not after doing your make up, as it will run down a bit. It has ingredients that are beneficial for your hair as well like Arginine or licorice extract. The 300ml bottle is also very huge. I use it mostly on my scalp, but sometimes on my face as well if I need something soothing.

Respectfully, as someone very into hair care (I struggle with hair loss due to severe chronic illness/medical issues):
K18 and olaplex operate differently 💗 especially the K18 vs the olaplex 6. The 6 is a leave in, the K18 is a molecular bonding treatment that repairs hair in a more intense way than olaplex 😊 since the launch, K18 has explained that you CAN condition afterwards, you just have to wait at least the 4 minutes for the K18 to process. So you can technically use both together!
As someone who has used K18 consistently with that method ^ (conditioning after), I have found SO much success 💗 I also find the price worth it, considering once you hit “maintenance mode”, you’re only needing to use it every 4 ish washes (I don’t wash often)

Love the star rating system, I think it's really efficient. Also idk if it's because of the star system but I feel like you've emphasized the value for money aspect (or lack thereof) of products really well in this episode. I would also really be interested in seeing a video of you building a routine with $100 or something where you do skincare within a budget.
Oh, you look great with this hair. Generally when brunettes get lighter hair, I find the it clashes with their eyebrows (unless they have dyed that too) but the dark roots with lighter ends make the look very cohesive and prettty

The cetaphil cream is a 1000/1000. Superb texture and feeling on the skin. No other cream beats it for me! I buy the 20 oz on amazon for like $12 and it lasts so long. Idk how they made a white cream that rubs in so clear within seconds.
The texture is something special for sure, sinks in immediately!

I’ve gotten really good results with The Ordinary MPES, especially with lightening of dark circles! Been using since November 2023. I put a small strip on the pad of my ring finger and it’s enough product for both eyes, my upper lip and my elevens. But I hear you on the packaging!! Years ago, I bought Skinceuticals CE Ferulic… on my first application I knocked the bottle off of my counter, it fell and shattered on the floor. Never again!!!

Hi Kelly I still love empties videos and the star system is useful.
I count my empties every month to see what I’m using up and how long products last for me, as it helps me be better about overbuying/back stock. So far in May I have used up:
Round Lab soybean serum 50mls - I liked it for my dry mature skin but it isn’t a favourite
Beauty of Josean ginseng cleansing oil- a good first cleanser but for me it wasn’t good as a single cleanser as I started to develop some clogged pores. I have super dry skin and many oil cleansers can be used as a first and second cleanse, but this for me is purely a first cleanse. It breaks down makeup and spf well and doesn’t make my eyes blurry so I would recommend it for that purpose.
BofJ ginseng essence toner- a really hydrating thin toner I enjoy
Cetaphil moisturising cream (as shown). I used this on my body but it’s a bit meh for my eczema prone very dry body skin and won’t be a repurchase.
I also used up a Benton goodbye redness sheet mask and it’s a favourite as a rescue remedy for my rosacea.
Two hair products and a toothpaste round out my empties so far this month 😂.

I love your knowledge and great recommendations!! I am wondering if you know of a k beauty cleanser that is similar to Paula's Choice Omega Balm Cleanser. What I love about that one is that it is in a tube and that it works really well as a single cleanse. I have even found flip top caps that work to make it even easier to use, but I would love to find something less expensive.
I am excited to try that Skin1400 sunscreen, i just ordered it from stylekorean because they had a good sale! I do love my isdin sunscreen but I need a smaller bottle for my purse. I agree with you on the weird rules for k18 and I still use conditioner with it too 😂 I tried the bond repair from Living Proof and I feel like I get the same results as the k18. However, I think the camellia waters and oil from Japanese haircare brands work best for me.
You get it! K18 is way better with conditioner, I like what it does but I agree I can get those results for less with other products!
Newish to all your videos and really enjoying them, thank you. Would have been interested in trying the Stratia eye cream but so disappointed to see it has petrolatum and parabens. Started my K Beauty skincare journey here in Australia above a month ago, and loving that I can get quality products for such an affordable price.

I’ve enjoyed it too, I feel like it has helped reduce my under eye puffiness! I just put a drop or two on my finger, replace the dropper, then rub the drop lightly between my fingers on each hand before applying, so it doesn’t run down. Try Triple Paste instead of mixing Cicaplast & Cerave. It fixes me up within a few hours, absolutely crazy.
I did the same thing with TO marine HA serum as soon as I purchased it I knocked it over doing the same thing and over half gone the first night I had it. I found tons of K beauty at Marshalls last night Skin 1004 , The dokodo toner , wishtrend , dear klairs , cosrx , hemish , sung Jung cream and toner , BOJ, Wishful9 toner , like so many things Even found K18, lots of tools, Christoph, Robin , Murad oat line,PChoice, Glossier and more. It was just crazy to see a bunch of goodies there. I could have went broke 😂 it was like better then going to Sephora. I didn't get anything though and I'm kicking myself for putting back the dokodo toner and the K18 . They even had that Luna led wand thing.
K18 u can just get out the shower after washing and conditioning and put it in it's actually quicker and easier. Olaplex destroyed my hair and the owner was a straight nightmare, she commented on a comment of mine to someone else that said she had the same thing happen and the owner commented back and forth some mean absurdity.

I used both the SKIN 1004 sunscreen and the Scinic one, and loved both. Although I hate pump packaging as I always find with literally every pump product I use, the pump stops working or gets stuck and then I hate to try manipulate it to get it work, and if that fails cut it open. I had that issue with the SKIN 1004 sunscreen, also the LRP sun cream, Haru haru sunscreens etc.. Tubes are my favourite for all creams. Do you plan on trying the new paulas choice mandelic acid?
The airless pumps can be annoying when they need to be primed! I don't have any current plans to try the PC mandaelic I'm taking a small skin break atm to heal some breakouts!

I woke up and my face was so inflamed, red. And stinging- it felt like I had burned my face- I couldn’t touch it, smile, or anything. Water hurt, and I couldn’t even pay it dry. It’s gotten a bit better over the past day and I’m going to see my dermatologist (because I have NOOOOO idea why this happened- ) I tried incorporating the new Numbuzin 5 toner to my morning routine this week…. But I don’t think that would turn my face into the red, peeling, irritated mess it is?!?! I do use tretinoin at night, but I ironically hadn’t used it for 3 days prior to the episode 😢
But I would LOVE if you could direct me to your videos on barrier repair and calming products???
I’m rosacea prone, so I only use very restoring and sensitive skin friendly products…. But never needed “barrier repair” because I’m so careful not to wreck it 😅❤

Avene tolerane cleanser works for me when my skin is irritated. And stopping all actives, just a gentle moisturizer and Vaseline. Hope you get help from your derm!

I purchased it over the weekend and it’s 100% worth the hype in my opinion. It’s extremely moisturizing and has helped with my skin texture in even just the past few days! The texture is extremely watery though, more so than my other toners, so it’s super runny and this is the first toner I feel I have to apply directly to my face (instead of on my hand)
