Hey! I have a suggestion for a tool in a future video! I use a small, rolling razor to cut my fur. You brush the fur out of the way, then use the razor. The razor rolls just like a pizza cutter, it's pretty sharp, and lovely to use! Just a suggestion, I would totally recommend investing in one! Thanks!

Wow I've been using box cutters for years, I'm so glad I saw this. BTW you can get OLFA 9149 high carbon ultra sharp box cutter blades they last about 3x as long as regular box cutter blades and are sharper and stay sharp longer - but I'm still gonna practice your scissor cutting technique.

I tried this but still cut the fur fibers? It's attatched to the backing so idk how to cut ONLY the backing

Yes only back but painters tape first. Then easy to sew

Wont lie im actually surprised on how some of the methods you use are same ones us foam smiths use for building armor when cutting foam lol specially cutting on the back half way to give a nice crease or bend with no seam line. Kinda my first time working with fur so im surprised

Even when I practice cutting with scissors on scrap fur, it sheds more than it should. I try to avoid cutting the fur and make small snips, but it still sheds. What could I be doing wrong?
