Hi bro...I have a similar problem with my rav4 2009...I did inquire about it but its very expensive to get it fixed...many are suggesting to get the gear box replaced with another one..we get lot of used sp parts here but some suggest me to get it opened and repaired which is time consuming also ..what's your suggestion to get it repaired or get it replaced..

I used a tool you can find on ebay. There are various tools online you can use. I get my parts and kits from WIT transmissions or Transtar they usually have Transtec kits and they work great.

My automatic 2001 Toyota rav 4 has no more reverse it drives foward in reverse gear. The car is now stuck in limp mode. What part in the transmission could it be? Most likely I will have to repair it myself.
How much does it cost to rebuild the trans for 07 RAV 3.5L V6? Mine still works great, but has 200k miles and never had fluid changed....it’s just a matter of time....

I would not recommend an inexperienced person to attempt this. This is not a beginner job. I would suggest finding a good used one to swap it out or remove yours and have someone rebuild it.
@@justcallmeeddie1 a bad alternator and bad battery was giving transmission solenoid codes over here. Wasn't shifting passed 1st. Codes were for transmission solenoids, ABS and low voltage on positive terminal on battery. I ignored battery code and replaced everything and transmission codes came back a couple days later. So AutoZone tested battery, alternator and starter outside with their tester. Bam bad battery, bad alternator. I switched everything right there. They retested with tester and multimeter and everything passed and everything shifting again. ( They all said that battery code had nothing to with transmission ) shout out to AutoZone still. They helped out with the whole process still. I stripped the alternator bolt outside and they showed me to screw it in the opposite way to rethread it lol If I came down to opening the transmission though this video is the reason why I would of done it lol pieces everywhere but still lol till it's fixed

You more than likely have a seized up direct clutch. It is a common problem.
I'm surprised you can still order transmission parts for that year RAV4.
Is there a manual or video that shows the complete process?
How did you tighten the large nut with slots on it?
Do you have to reprogram the trans when done?

Overhaul kits are available from Transtar or WIT transmissions. They range from 200 to 400 bucks depending on the one you get.

Did a u250 but couldn’t get into 4th gear, car would go into neutral. Any ideas?

Puedes conseguirla reparada .La llave hay que re programarla con la guagua .
