Nice video! I've never fished at Timberlinn but I'll definitely check it out after seeing this! I've been mostly bass fishing lately but I definitely need to check out Timberlinn
I love your channel, I was wondering if you could do a video saying some of your favorite fishing spots in Oregon, I love fishing and I want to get good at bass fishing. Any good spots
I actually have a video explaining how to find good spots, called Oregon Fishing FULLY EXPLAINED. Other than that, I don't give my spots away, but I don't try to keep them secret either. I usually say where I'm fishing in all my videos, or mention the location in the comments. Basically, I encourage research and a little sleuthing. If you do that, you'll find way more, and way BETTER fishing spots than I can give 🤙
If you intend to keep fish to eat, you want to bleed the fish. This will keep the fish from spoiling before you get home, and will improve the quality of the meat
Doin the dame thing here. Been thinking about actually trying to fling in a few bows and or browns. Yeah wow I was gonna say that little hole was it. Not that there's probably not fish in is. Just wow that was a small pond to stock with trout.
A lot of it is paying attention to activity around you. If I don't see people catching fish, or see no fish activity, time to change it up. Knowing the body of water is a big part of it, too. If you know the bathometry of the lake or pond, and can find water temp, barometric pressure, time of day information, you can change location based on that information to increase the odds of finding fish
For sure 🤙. I give a spot 15-30 minutes. Now, at least for trout, they're a schooling species, and in the colder months they'll school up and patrol the shoreline looking for forage. So soaking in a spot can be in your favor. In the spring/fall they'll be more active, and spread out
Oh man, I bet. How do they stock places down there? I know places like Clear Lake, Lake Berryessa and Lake Comanche get stocked, but they're in northern California. Isn't it too warm in SoCal?
Trout and salmon fishing around here is usually just fine in the rain. I just like to fish for everything, can get bored this time of year trout fishing every week
Nice limit of stockers. I typically give mine away also, it’s nice to share with those who enjoy them.
Totally 🤙
That sucks. It's a great easy way to help people here
@@TheTroutHammer you can give yours away in Missouri bur there counted on your limit.
Same here. If you land the fish with the intent to harvest, it is counted to your bag limit
I love taking my kids to that lake because it’s so easy. The spot you moved to is where we usually catch them too. Love your channel, keep it up.
Thank you 🤙
@@TheTroutHammer still pretty good out there? Was looking to hook into some fatties potentially
Yeah, it should be 🤙
Another good time video
Makes me want to get my ultra light out.
Thank you 🤙. Now is the time for ultralight fishing, for sure
Dude don’t stop making videos!
I'll try not to 🤙

It's very reliable for trout 🤙

Nice video, why did you cut the gills on the fish you caught? This is my first year trout fishing seriously, just want to learn as much as I can.

You ever fish around the coos bay area?
I have not
What makes you say your not going to catch fish somewhere and what makes you pick the next spot your going too.?

@@TheTroutHammer thanks for replying so fast by the way !! So if you had to ball park a time limit on a spot before you move?

@@TheTroutHammer sounds good I will keep that in mind 15 to 30 min....I live in SoCal so the Temps are usually all over the place lol
