You need to check out incredibly huge Australian band that he was lead singer of and where he first made his fame. They're called Cold Chisel. Try a song called Flame Trees for starters, then try When the War is Over.

Midnight Hour was recorded in Memphis with the Stax session regulars , not at the studio in the video (where Pickett went on to record his other pseudo-Stax hits after he couldn't get along with with the folks at Stax.) The Stax studio at McLemore Ave. "where it all began" Avenue no longer exists.
