I wanted to share my favorite finds at Ikea for 2024, and also affordable organization ideas. As you'll see - I did a playroom organization transformation - but I wanted to share affordable home organization ideas that could be used all throughout your home too!
I have had the 70" Trofast towers for over 10 years... Maybe even 15. The best thing is that I was able to Repurpose them in the garage when my kids outgrew toys. They are amazing!
As an ex-daycare worker..you should take a picture of what belongs in each drawer and use the photos as labels this way Forest can learn & help clean up his own toys. It can also be a fun game to help clean up. Since he is too young to read visuals are important.
Children need so few toys to be happy. Studies show that children's brains develop so much better when they have less. It also encourages them to use their imaginations and they are more creative and have less anxiety. Choose toys that encourage imagination, then test this out. Put all the toys away in totes or boxes and put a 3 month date on them. Only give them back something that they ask for by name. After that, you can donate them. We have four grown children, and we did this and now they are independent, productive adults! Great video!!!

That turned out so well. I don’t have an IKEA close to me. I used to. And loved just going and walking around looking at everything. Sometimes we would stop and eat. My husband like their ligen berry and meat balls. Me, not so much. He hated walking all over. And that’s the part I liked. We bought a brown tv stand. M granddaughter is using it now.

Hi, the room looks very good now. Do you have link for these little hooks und how do the picture fframes hold on the wall, that you cann remove them and put back on the wall again.
You cannot remove them! I thought you could but they’re definitely permanent. They hold up to two pounds. I can’t remember the name but I’m sure you can search their site. I believe it’s two for one dollar! 😊
Great ideas but what I’ve learned is no matter how much YOU may organize little kids just never put things back like you organized it if they even pick up the stuff to be put back.
