My 03 GT was running pretty good, but I was getting a code for the Crankshaft Position Sensor. I changed it out today and when I start it up it is running really rough. I backed it out of the garage and it stalled. Engine is misfiring really bad. The sensor is fully seated. I have idea why it runs bad now. The only thing I could find was that the crankshaft needs to relearn. * I replaced it with a Walker sensor, then bought one at O'Reilly (Standard) UPDATE: I have replaced the crankshaft position sensor 3 times now and it's still shitty. Getting a P0315 code, which says "Crankshaft Position system variation no learned". WTF? I can't find any information on how to "relearn" on a 2003 Mustang GT
disconnect your battery both power and negative cable and let the car sit for a day. That will cause all the power to drain and zero out the ecu. Then go from there. if the codes come back up then check your wiring , and connectors. If still not good check your coil packs. sometime they can go bad and throw other sensors off.
Excellent..
Where did you order ur part from?
Standard ignition. U can get it from oreillys
