So I’m watching this video and I’m thinking about the last time I changed the oil in my 2016 Maxima. And I’m like the same issues this guy has I have. Who the F designs a system where the oil filter is above a crossmember?!? SMH

Hey, i have a 2013 ford fiesta SE 1.6L and am trying to install a new serpentine, i noticed you didnt do any adjustment, would i need to as i had to replace the alternator

Man you did a amazing job cutting that hole, looks great, I'm in the process of replacing my insert i put in back in 2001 (it was really sunbaked and cracked) and i realized now that im older and more into attention to detail how awful that hole i cut 23 years ago looks,, looks like the cookie monster made the hole with his mouth,lol, plus the new insert i got is different from the one i got back then,Ive heard these new ones look just like the ones they used on the Cobras back in 93 (Ford tooling), they are pretty sweet.

Good video, I just got a 2024 Ford Explorer XLT with 2.3 ecoboost about 3 months ago and mine is ready for an oil change, since they didn't change anything on the 2024 models from 2023, it should be the same. One little nit pick, and I mean this with all due respect, but I would not use dirty oil coming out of the pan to lubricate the gasket on the new filter. Even though the oil didn't appear to look like tar I would still use clean oil. Just my 2 cents, I'm in no way trying to offend or disrespect you, I still think it was a great video and thank you for sharing!

Maybe I missed you touch on it but, did you reinstall the underside panel , in the middle? I found it wouldn't reach the exact same placement from the start. And the kick sensor caused me all kinds of trouble.

If Dodge was smart (and with Stellantis running it, they're not) they'd dump that outmoded pushrod two-valve Hemi and develop their own version of the Coyote. They hate to give up that magical 'hemi' name though it's now just obsolete.

That motor looks to be running terribly the way it's shaking and i hear a vacuum leak in the beginning of the video which could easily be causing the idle issues. That's a great car to have, i hope you got it running better now. Ty for the video

I just finished doing this fix. Before soldering, there is a conformal coating on the pins that should be taken off. When I took off the coating, the solder was broken on the pins of all the LED connectors. I resoldered them and added more solder (hopefully it will help with strength). I had been seeing issues with the speed and fuel gauge, but the temperature gauge pins were also cracked. My display works excellent now. Thanks for the video, it gave me enough information to fix my issue.
