I love that I have been researching veneer inlay and this popped up. Long time wyrmling cool to see the origin when Doug was still pooping in a bucket.
I really enjoy watching your in-depth videos. I know this is a really old one (I can tell the amount of subs at the time by the amount of comments), but I would really enjoy seeing Jason do some more videos like this. I'm sure the laser cutter you have now would dramatically increase the speed of this process.
This design is soo beautiful. I love the amount of thought that went into it. Chosing from old timey armor and swirly pretty deisgns. And then the hand drawing to make it right. I loved the trick that you only needed to perfect the 1/18th, i would have never thought of that! The mother of pearl looked gorgeous in the final product. Also I think it was a perfect decision to go with the hot sand technique for shading. Really elevated the piece. Great job guys!
You guys want to hire a gaming math teacher with a passing familiarity of lathes, chisels, and planes? I've enjoyed the wyrmlife videos but I prefer these.
BTW, nice workshop. Really great to see how that expanded. Quarantine continues.
That edge is neat. Very nice concept, I guess I'll give that a try when I have a project like this. Quarantine continues.

I could watch videos of these guys working all day long.
