Spaceship battle in the Atmosphere.
Programs used
Lightwave (main program)
Blender
After Effects
All models, textures, animations, and effects were done by me. Except for the sound effects which I gathered and put together. It took about a year to make, of almost constantly working.

The detail on the ships and the lighting is beautiful. And I absolutely love the background... having it in the sky is so much more beautiful than in deep space!

Check out space engineers. They can have some pretty epic battles in that game. Especially with some of the features they've added the last year or two

That looks great! The only suggestions I could find to give would be adding atmosphere or mist to show depth between ships.

This is excellent work. I appreciated both the sleek design and the extremely smooth movements of the 'fighter' plane as it moved about. I find the whole piece very captivating. Amazing attention to the detail of flight dynamics as well as original airship design.

Holy shit dude.... but, you can see why it took so long. The attention to detail is immense and you deserve total credit for this. The explosions are damn realistic as well and this could easily be used in a film. A lot I have seen would be lucky to make to a childrens game but this is awesome.
