    I know this is an older video, but YOU, Bella Coco, are the reason I've learned to crochet. I got books, read tons of patterns, tried until I cried. Then, someone suggested I look up your single crochet tutorial on RUclips. You are the only one I've been able to follow to learn because you are methodical, clearly explain what we are doing, and cover both US and UK terms. Thank you so much for these beautiful tutorials and sharing your talents with us so we may enjoy crocheting, too!

    This is a beautiful pattern and I've seen it in many tutorials ... but haven't been able to go beyond the 1st repeat... that is.. until now..honestly you've explained it so in depth and patiently.. it was a cinch doing a small blanket... Thank you ever so much.. I do have a question though.. Is it at all possible to make this into a rectangle instead of a square.. I'd love to make a shawl in this pattern.. .

    • @bellacococrochet
      @bellacococrochet  5 лет назад

    • @peachfire1981
      @peachfire1981 3 года назад +1

      I may be wrong as I am not a pro, but I have made a rectangle blanket once before and I would think just changing the 1st and 2nd row like u would starting a rectangle blanket then follow the same instructions. You would have more chain 3's on the sides but the corners would be the same. Hope this helps! 🙏

      You're very welcome, as with each project everyone works at a different pace so I am unable to tell you how long it would take :)

      Thank you so much! 😊 This is actually really common and most people find that the blanket lays flat once they’ve worked more rounds, so you should be ok. I would also double check that you’re using the correct hook size for your yarn.
