This is what makes him the GENIUS that he is. I met Tricky in the 90s in Montreal. He is very humble which makes him even larger than large. He is very kind.
I was lucky enough to meet Tricky on his last tour when he came to Mexico, we went to an after party and I had the pleasure to talk to him... i was amazed; he is pure love, it is so notable he has a lot of demons inside, but i found magical that he uses them to make this beautiful and authentique music. Yes, maybe he is not totally sober here, but maybe it doesn't matter. I saw Tricky in Berlin 2018 with the same female artist. He had to leave the stage two times for unknown reasons, and she was running the show alone (I mean, she's REALLY great!). Damn Tricky, stay off the drugs. I never saw anything like his behavior on stage before, really scary. And sad, because I love his albums so much. But the concert was really a waste of money

That's not so of 'names' playing live these days so it's a pain in the arse if you're on low income and the musicians can't perform = some clown's pissed your money up the wall. *In those days fans were not so star struck they would not 'boo' if the musician was entertaining them...
