Tricky is the most underated music genius in the last 50 years

I fully agree. His music does not feel like layers of Jazz, Reggae, Rock, DnB, Hip Hop, SynthPop, House, Blues, RnB, etc. His music's very DNA is all these at the same time. This is what makes him the GENIUS that he is. I met Tricky in the 90s in Montreal. He is very humble which makes him even larger than large. He is very kind.
Most over rated is Kanye West
Why underrated? Pretty sure his message got where it deserved.

Saw Tricky in the late 90's. Came for PJ Harvey but ended up with a lifetime of this sound. Genius.
I was lucky enough to meet Tricky on his last tour when he came to Mexico, we went to an after party and I had the pleasure to talk to him... i was amazed; he is pure love, it is so notable he has a lot of demons inside, but i found magical that he uses them to make this beautiful and authentique music. Always in love with Tricky

Paul Noels is such a great guitarist. Fits the vibe perfectly.
I think I watched this concert so many times. It's so great, so pure, so real... Tricky just gives everything. He leaves his heart and soul out there. Yes, maybe he is not totally sober here, but maybe it doesn't matter. Or maybe it does matter because only then you can create something like this that shows you the absurdity of our daily lives and struggles.
And Marta is just amazing! :) she is running the show

So RUclips suggested me this show and I was like "heeey Tricky!, long time I don't watch or listen to anything from him, let's watch a couple of songs from this show"... wrong, I couldn't stop watching it till the end. I didn't remember how good Tricky is, this live show was amazing!

I’m watching this and reading everyone’s comments saying he’s drugged out and this is bad… but I don’t agree. I see him super into his art and having his own self-channeling session- looks and sounds like he’s great at what he does. I’ve been listening to Tricky for a while now and he’s just a different genre-less dude, but there’s genius there. Don’t box him in, he’s not doing this to make anyone comfortable. That’s how you know it’s legit. 🔥🔥

This guy knows how to do a show
I saw Tricky in Berlin 2018 with the same female artist. He had to leave the stage two times for unknown reasons, and she was running the show alone (I mean, she's REALLY great!). Damn Tricky, stay off the drugs. I never saw anything like his behavior on stage before, really scary. And sad, because I love his albums so much. But the concert was really a waste of money
It was the same here in Mexico one month ago... it was so sad...
As much as I know, it's always been his thing. Not sure you got his reasons right.

@@TontonRico Tickets weren't so (relatively) expensive as they are now when* Iggy was careering around and off his head on stage, plus he played some cheap venues (in the UK). That's not so of 'names' playing live these days so it's a pain in the arse if you're on low income and the musicians can't perform = some clown's pissed your money up the wall. *In those days fans were not so star struck they would not 'boo' if the musician was entertaining them...
