In the Lotus Sutra Chapter 16(Lifespan of the Thus One), Shakyamuni the historical buddha revealed for the 1st time that he didn't attain enlightenment while in India at age 30+. He attained enlightenment a long time ago in the immeasurable past.So long ago that all his disciples Matreiya & Shariputra cannt imagine. The exerpts are below:
At that time the world-honored one, seeing that the bodhisattvas repeated their request three times and more, spoke to them, saying: “You must listen carefully and hear of the thus come one’s secret and his transcendental powers. In all the worlds the heavenly and human beings and asuras all believe that the present Shakyamuni Buddha, after leaving the palace of the Shakyas, seated himself in the place of enlightenment not far from the city of Gaya and there attained supreme perfect enlightenment. But good men, it has been immeasurable, boundless hundreds, p.266thousands, ten thousands, millions of nayutas of kalpas since I in fact attained buddhahood.

Then, moving eastward, each time he passes five hundred, a thousand, ten thousand, a million nayuta asamkhya worlds he drops a particle of dust. He continues eastward in this way until he has finished dropping all the particles. Good men, what is your opinion? Can the total number of all these worlds be imagined or calculated?”

Buddhists should focused their time & energy on Buddha true purpose in coming to this saha World I.e to preach his highest teaching (Lotus Sutra) & not be attached to a place/ temple. For he said all Buddhas in the Universe has only one purpose that is to preach & enable all people to achieve enlightenment through this One Vehicle -Lotus Sutra (Mystic Law of Lotus Sutra in chinese) which he & all Buddhas in the Universe gained enlightenment from.

Don't chase after Buddha's Great Temple, For it is far away. There is a Buddha temple in the heart of each of us. THIS should be the temple we practice under.

what about killing of Buddhist Monks by "Brahmin ruler Pushyamitra Sungh"
The founder of Shung dynasty killed Son of Great Shudra Ruler "Samrat Ashok Maurya"
And established his Brahmin superior empire..
There where 84000 Stupas build by Ashoka. Most of them was demolished by Pushyamitra.
Even when Buddha was in process of attaining enlightment Hindu Brahmin priest conspired to kill Gautam Buddha as his teaching was causing financial and power loss to Brahmin priest.
Modern day Hindu Brahmin claim that Gautam Buddha was a reincarnation of their primary God called "Vishnu"
They even don't follow the teaching of Buddha
Buddhism was nearly destroyed from India after 500 years of Gautam Buddha death.
Then again wheel of Dhamma showed it's power and a great social reformer revived Buddhism in India.
      His name was "Dr. B.R.Ambedkar"
He is the reason today Native Buddhist decendent have some existence...
Save Indian Buddhist from Attacker both from Inside and outside.

My eyes are full of tears of joy and happiness while watching this documentary. I knew a lot about Buddhism and Buddha but this was beautiful narration of Buddha and Bodh Gaya. I truly believe India is a land of spiritualism in the world and would be the centre of global peace in the near future. This is the land where everything converges with one another to become one. I am very much hopeful of this happening soon. Since it has been revealed now that even Jesus Christ had also travelled here in search of wisdom and had acquired the knowledge of Hinduism and Buddhism, this land had also given shelter to the kin of Prophet Mohammed now a part of Pakistan during a Hindu kingdom. The gospel Thomas from Israel was also donated a temple to establish the first Church in India and the list goes on and on. Hope people from Islamic faith would also recognize it and accept the fact of the land of spirituality.

    • @benthekeeshond545
      @benthekeeshond545 5 лет назад +8

      Truthful Voice,
Ok, "The land where everything converges to become one." Maybe about 1,600 years ago, I believe an Indian Buddhist Monk once asked his Chinese disciple this question, "After everything converges to one, what comes after one?
Anyway, the great Islamic and Christian faiths from the middle-east define themselves as religions. They spread with military conquests, lootings, slaveries, and genocides. The word, religion, defined by these two faiths should not apply to Buddhism. Buddhism spread by Buddhist Monks, not along with an invading army or through the temptation of wealth. Throughout history, the Monks spread the teachings of Buddha to different populations and cultures accompanied only by themselves along with their compassions.

    • @bollywoodmasalatruthfulvoi1901
      @bollywoodmasalatruthfulvoi1901 4 года назад

@Paula Diroshea Fernando You must read more information regarding this and learn about the historical evidences that are available these days. At the same time I would also suggest the reason why this reality has been hidden from the world until even. It was the impact of this reality on the Vatican as well as on those who have vested interest in using the Christianity for their own advantages.

what about killing of Buddhist Monks by "Brahmin ruler Pushyamitra Sungh"

I Am A Hindu...I Have Deep Respect For Shakyamuni Buddha nd BuddhaDharmam.Buddhism Is Not Likely To Be A Religion, It Is A Philosophy, A Way Of Life Just Like Confuciaism Of China.Buddha Was A Great Philosopher .He Taught The Humankind A New Way Of Salvation.Sanatana Dharma (Hinduism) nd Buddha Dharma Is Not Same Bcz Buddhists Don't Believe In Aatman (Soul) nd ParamBramhan (Supremesoul) Which We Hindus Do.But Both Hinduism nd Buddhism Are Sanskritaized Dharmic Faiths. We Hindus Generally Worship The Atman (Soul) Of Buddha, It's Our Faith. We R Proud That Such A Great Man Took Birth In Land Of Bharatbarsa (India) , Got Enlightened Here Nd Enlightened Others...India Is The Land Of Dharma...Jai Hind...VandeMaataram...

RAJAT MAZUMDER, I think you still have lacking of knowledge about Buddha born place. Buddha was actually born in Lumbini district of Nepal and all other his enlightenment things happend in the India. Whole world knew about it, still some of you indian people trying to provocating Buddha wad born in India, why why why... you shilly people. Keep it in your mind that BUDDHA WAS BORN IN LUMBINI, NEPAL.

Lol Buddha Took Birth In INDIAN CIVILIZATION. Just Like Alexander The Great Took Birth In Greek Civilisation. For Us Indians Saying Buddha Nepali Is Like Saying Guru Nanak Ji (Founder Of Sikhism) Is Pakistani Jst Bcz Guru Nanak's Birthplace Is In Modern Day Pakistan. Buddha Took Birth In Lumbini, Which Is Now In Nepal .But Earlier Lumbini Was In Kapilavastu Kingdom Of Ancient India .Later Lumbini Was Part Of Nanda, Maura, Kushan, Gupta, Pala This Great Indian Empires.Later Gurkhas Captured It In 18th Century. Entire Indian Subcontinent Is Ancient India.Ur Nepal Is Also Part Of Indian Subcontinent Nd Indian Civilisation. Maybe This Things Not Taught In Ur nepali Textbooks But This Are Facts.Ancient Greece Was Also Not United .Divided Among Some Small City-States.Alexender The Great Took Birth In Macedonia Kingdom. So Does That Mean Greek People Can't Call Alexander A Greek??!!! Indeed They Can.Althouh He Was From Macedonia Still It Was Part Of Greek/Hellenstic Civilisation. Same With The Case Of Buddha.Buddha Is Coined As An Indian Philosopher By Scholars Nd Buddhism Is Included In Indian Philosophy By Historians. There Is Nothing Wrong To Say 'Buddha' An Indian Philosopher. HE Took Birth In Indian Subcontinent Or 'Bharatbarsa'...

"All my life I have been very fond of Buddha. I have more veneration for that character than any other- that boldness, that fearlessness, and that tremendous love! He was born for the good of men. Others may seek God, others may seek truth for themselves; he did not even care to know truth for himself. He sought truth because people were in misery. How to help them, that was his only concern. Throughout his life he never had a thought for himself." -- Swami Vivekananda.

The Buddha absolutely rejected the caste system, as the Buddha said well over 2,500 years ago, "All beings are born equal, No one is born higher than anyone else!" Buddha was also born into Royalty, as a Prince, and he could have been a Maharajah or Great King one day if he wanted too as well, but he Also rejected this as well too! Buddha said, well over 2,500 years ago, "All beings value their lives, All beings tremble when faced with death, therefore Never hurt, harm or kill any living being!" This is the Great practice of Ahimsa or Non harm to others! The Buddha said, "Any Brahmana who hurts, harms or kills another, is Not a True Sadhu or holy one, you are Not a True Brahmana or Sadhu or holy one, if you hurt, harm or kill another!" "The Buddha said, "The True Religion is love!" The Buddha said , "Go forth my Bikkhus-Buddhist Monks, and teach and spread love and compassion in every direction all over the Whole World, for the good, happiness and Welfare of the Whole World, this my Bikkhus you should do!" The Buddha said, Give your clothes to those who do not have any clothes, your food to the hungry, and build shelters for those who do my have any homes!" The Buddha said, "Social Work and the helping of others is the highest good karma that anyone can do in their lives, the helping of others is the highest good that one can do in their lives and the highest good karma that anyone can do, is the helping of others!" The Buddha said, "No matter how much someone hurts you, Never hurt them back!" The Buddha said, "Two wrongs do not make a right!" Most Ancient Greeks after conquering India became Buddhist Monks or Bikkhus and they spread Buddhism All along the Silk Road in all Directions, including All of the Middle East, Greece, Europe, Egypt, Persia, Afghanistan and Many other Ancient Countries and Ancient Lands! The Ancient Greeks built statues of the Buddha in the Ancient World, well over 2,000 years ago in Afghanistan, they were built there by Ancient Greek Kings! Ancient Greek Culture, Religion and Western Civilisation is Built, Established and Founded on Ancient Buddhism, and that is a TRUE FACT, which has been so Deceitfully hidden from the World!

Buddha is simply pure and great, only taught peace and respect for all, great religion of peace the whole world must learn about the Buddha and spread this worlds great religion, I feel very peaceful and content thinking and Meditating.

*The Buddha the Light of Asia..!*
It is astonishing for Buddhist Community that why the cognizance of Supreme Court directives issued in 1995 to form a Commitee of Two Judges to verify the authenticity of word Hindu and Shivalingas temples spread all over India. Backward class Community Netas about 137 seating MPs in all, did not utter a single word in or out side the Parliament to form a Commitee..? But the direction/suggestion (or ban imposed), not to increase the Reservation more than 50% by the same Court was implemented intantuosly, when two other states have increased more than this..!
Now it is very much clear that Central Govt has agree and support Sanatani orthodox Bhrahmins have converted all Buddha Viharas, Chaityas, Caves into Jyotirlinga, or Shiva Temples found in Indian sub-continent, for obvious reasons. These are nothing but *BUDDHA MAHADEV or or Buddha Stupas and PAGODAs..*
For example a Vaijyanth Jyotirlinga Temple at Parali Vaijyath is made of *various Buddha Statues in and above this temple* and other hindu temples also.
Now all Buddhist Organisations within and outside India MUST take up the issue with Govt of India to display Notice Boards on these temples as *Mahadev Buddha Temples or Stupas and hand over the charge to Buddhist Monks immediately..!*
Meaning of slogan like *हर हर महादेव..!* in Pali literature is *Arhant Arhant Mahadev..!!*
*Hindu temples like Tirupati Balaji, in Andhra, Vittal of Pandharpur, Jagannath in Odissa, Padmanabham in Kerala, Mahabalipuran, & Kanchi temples in Tamil Nadu 21Jyoturlingas, like Parali Vaijyansth, Varanasi in UP and Astha Vinayaka Caves in Maharashtra..! Vinayaka meaning the Buddha, elephant and Lotus Flower is the symbol of Wisdom, the Buddha, preaching a Supreme Dhamma..! All these temples earn donations which is three times more than the India's Annual Budget, which is "managed" by Communities since 12th Century..!*
Archeology Deptt have many such evidences and also Probodhankar KS Thakare has written a book, "देवालांचा धर्म आणि धर्माची देवले" to prove that all Shivalinga temples and caves found all over India are Buddha Viharas..!
_History shows that Samrat Ashoka had built as many as 84,000 Buddha Viharas, Chaityas and Caves as Tripitikas (There Bags full wisdom/knowledge) which contain 84,000 holy Verses or Sutras of Buddha's preaching during his life time, which try its best to cultivate the virtues of Human Mind.. the True Nature, True Self, the Universal Truth within, or Chetana, the Chitta or Buddha Mind to be awaken and liberate it from sufferings, the birth and death once for all in this human life itself..!!_
Hence the India is recognised as a "Land of Buddha, the Light of Asia..!"
The Documentaries made by BBC London and a banned book published by Chicago Publications, Washingon describes that Jesus Christ stayed in Tibet's and Himalayan, Ladakh Monestaries, assimilated Buddhism and got enlightenment from Buddhist Ariihant Monks during his age from 13 to 29 years and took permission to go back to His native place Jerusalem..! After Crucifiçation, and Resurrection, a cosmic power of an Atihant Bodhisatva, Lord Jesus left Jerusalem, and he wished to go bacķ to Ladakh, travelled to Kashmir, but collapsed at a pĺace nameď Khanamari, Peheĺgam Dist of Kashmir, The monument is known as Yeshuwa..!_
The ancient History describes that Bhddhist culture was destroyed by a hindu Comnander Pushyamitra Shrung, who killed king Brihadrath in conspiracy and made genocide of Buddhist monks and civilians offering 100 gold coins who brings a head of Buddhist monks during reins of King Brihadrath the 8th decendent of Samrat Ashoka..! Hence, name of river got named as Sharayu, "heads dumped rivers water." A historical book written by Dr BR Ambedkar is an eye opener to world thinkers, Anthropologist, philosophers to study the DNA generics of Indian population that India was & is a Buddhist Nation and not a Hindu Rashtra as is being deceitfully impostered out of hatrade..!
    *नमो बूद्धाय..!*
    *सब का मंगल हो..!!*
    *Save the Indian Constitution..!*

Buddha rejected all religions and he never labled himself to any religion, it became a religion only after his death.

This religion is called Buddhism the teachings of the Buddha Dhamma! The Buddha did not reject religions, he only said do not bend the truth to suit personal beliefs.

      Except that he created a bunch of the practices himself, gave it a bunch of names like "Buddha Dharma" and "Noble Eightfold Path", and said the following in the Dhammapada;
"273. Of all the paths the Eightfold Path is the best; of all the truths the Four Noble Truths are the best; of all things passionlessness is the best: of men the Seeing One (the Buddha) is the best.
      274. This is the only path; there is none other for the purification of insight. Tread this path, and you will bewilder Mara."
