- Marie Oppert's debut album, with the Orchestre National de Lille and Nicholas Skilbeck, forms a bridge between French and American musical theatre, embracing both the classics of Broadway and treasured French songs. Discover: w.lnk.to/enLY
"From my childhood days I’ve been absolutely passionate about musical theatre," says Marie. "It’s a genre whose 'magical power' to tell a story through theatre, song and dance I find utterly compelling." For the recording, she is joined in special tracks by Natalie Dessay and Melissa Errico, whom she calls "my two Franco-American 'fairy godmothers.' "

Music by Richard Rodgers, lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II, from "Cinderella" (1957 TV musical, Julie Andrews as Cinderella and Edith Adams as the Fairy Godmother)
Whitney and Brandy REALLY keep the magic
🎼👍❤💛💚👏👏👏👏🎶🎵
Would it kill you to include the names of the composer & lyricist in the title or description??
or how about the orchestra and conductor? *smh*
*_POSSIBLE for COVID-19_*
XDDDDDD
Le fait que vous chantiez en anglais est vraiment triste
This version doesn't do it for me... I don't feel the soulness of it and the women are singing like the song as if it they're in an opera. This song needs power like Whitney gave.
Right!? Idk The Brandy and Whitney version flows more naturally. Granted I get this is for the Broadway version hense the "Opera" like style. But yea Iike the Whitney version better
@@Direct2Media this is not for the broadway version. these are two opera singers, not musical theatre actresses
i completely agree. there is just ZERO emotion in this. they’re just singing words. especially Natalie
I quite like it honestly
