TE Lawrence what a fella, he would ride around the lanes hour after hour, if you live in America do yourself a favour, hire a car & drive English lanes, I'm lucky to live in Essex & travel all over Essex visiting Churches, I always drive the lanes, I was brought up driving these ancient lanes, there's nothing like it, I can fully understand TE Lawrence spending hours clearing his head, its something else trust me, love these videos really get into the detail of the bikes.
Now Vincent Motorcycles I went on one of my Church days in Horndon on the Hill, a fella says "If you look over there it's where Vincent's buried" I didn't know who he was talking about, had a look & it turns out Vincent grew up there, & a cracking pub where you can stay is there, turns out Vincent used to rent a small building in the front of the pub, thinks its called the Bell from memory

Hey Jay, when I was sixteen, I had a parking lot experience like you on a Honda SL 350. I was downtown at our Polk Street drag in Amarillo Texas. It was Friday night, and I cut through a parking lot to bypass a long line of traffic stopped at a light. It was dark, and I didn't see a chain stretched across the driveway. The SL 350 has high fenders, and the chain hit above the front wheel and below the fender. The forks compressed, and launched me and the bike backwards in a wheelie. The bike came down sideways on my leg, and I jumped up and picked up the bike before I realized how much that hurt. My leg wasn't broken, but I guess I was in a state of shock. I laid down over the tank on the side stand and sort of passed out for a little while. I made it home, but my leg hurt for a long time. I'm 68 now, and I never cut through a lot without checking for something blocking the driveway. Lesson learned the hard way. Love your channel, keep up the good work...Ken

This one is at the top of my list of favorites. I love hearing all the knowledge Jay has about anything automotive. Plus that he still drives them, some of his collection is priceless yet he will still take it out for a spin. Awesome video guys hopefully I’ll get to run into y’all on the road someday. 🤙🏼

Years ago I sent a letter asking for a signed pic and some tickets for the show in 2011 to help fund a trip to a beautiful country called Belize up in the mountainsto build bathrooms and showers at a school in a very small town. At that point not many had running water. I was in the shower when I got the call, he hooked me up. Really didnt need that little fact but I was laughing and bullshitting the whole call. And that shit if funny, I dont care who you are. I was f@cking stoked. Couldnt find a better car guy.

THANK YOU JAY for sharing your collection and friends cars on RUclips. We would never see wonderful old machines like these if not for you. Your garage is an Adventureland E-TICKET and reminder of spending time on the side of the road fixing some iron horse that didn't quite make it all the way. 🎉🎊👍

I'd encourage anyone to look up old boardtrack motorcycle racing footage on RUclips. It's amazing. Picture a huge wooden velodrome for motorcycles. So rad. Great vid guys. I'm actually not a motor bike guy, I ride, build and refurbish road bikes. These old style bikes give me inspiration for my custom builds. Current project...I'm making a Rat Rod inspired bicycle with a late 1940's CCM men's single speed.
