An absolute treat to see and hear about all the bikes Jay Leno has in his collection. His wealth of knowledge is tremendous. Thanks guys for this great opportunity. You guys are very fortunate to get to do what you do. See you down the road!
It sure was! There was lots more even just to the motorcycle collection, but we'll have to get back there and share some more one of these days. His knowledge on each machine is inspiring to say the least. Thanks for tuning in, Carmen!
Jay has become a national treasure. There aren't many people around with his vast amount of knowledge. He has a working museum with early 1800s industrial steam engines to early 1900s electric cars and vintage bikes as well as modern machines. Incredible is an understatement in my opinion. Jay Leno, the gate keeper to the past and the future! The old iron holds so many secrets to the future if you look hard enough. The old time machines show how we got to today. The knowledge Jay has in the old roledex upstairs is very impressive. I really enjoy these vids you do Jay. Thank you for continuing to bring history to the modern day. OUTSTANDING EPISODE!
Wow does Jay know his cars and motorcycles. Interesting when he said when he was in high school they taught engine classes. Love the fact that he actually rides those bikes and gets to really enjoy them. This was for sure a surprise as well as a treat. Thank you for sharing this.
Big time!! It's a shame engine classes and things along those lines aren't a part of every day education anymore. Luckily, there are plenty of enthusiasts like Jay out there carrying the torch. Thanks for tuning in, Rich! Glad you enjoyed it 👍
When Jay hosted the Tonight Show, he'd drive or ride a different classic vehicle to work every day. He even has an American LaFrance fire engine he restored and drives. I love that he's not just a collector, but he's a lover of all these old cars, trucks, and bikes, and uses them. Plus, he knows how they all work and their history.
Jay Leno not only just has a lot of vehicles and machinery. He knows just about everything about each of them and more. Really intelligent man full of knowledge.

Hey Jay, when I was sixteen, I had a parking lot experience like you on a Honda SL 350. I was downtown at our Polk Street drag in Amarillo Texas. It was Friday night, and I cut through a parking lot to bypass a long line of traffic stopped at a light. It was dark, and I didn't see a chain stretched across the driveway. The SL 350 has high fenders, and the chain hit above the front wheel and below the fender. The forks compressed, and launched me and the bike backwards in a wheelie. The bike came down sideways on my leg, and I jumped up and picked up the bike before I realized how much that hurt. My leg wasn't broken, but I guess I was in a state of shock. I laid down over the tank on the side stand and sort of passed out for a little while. I made it home, but my leg hurt for a long time. I'm 68 now, and I never cut through a lot without checking for something blocking the driveway. Lesson learned the hard way. Love your channel, keep up the good work...Ken
