I had no idea that "a catch" refers to the one pursued by the other. I thought " a catch" was referred to as the one who brings a lot to the table, the one that others would also be lucky to have.
the term "catch" is usually used to refer to attractiveness (mainly looks BUT of course other things can be attractive) AND is usually used by men when they get a "bad b*tch." However, in this instance, ole boy is acting like *HE* is the bad b*tch 🤣
