I just put the re-issue on pre-order!!! I am in absolute happiness that this will be a part of my collection! I can't believe it! Stellar vid! Thank you!
Though I have always loved the animated series batmobile the best (just because I'm a sucker for 40s vehicles) this is undoubtedly the coolest Batman toy I have ever seen.
Before you keep denying the Tumbler is better in every aspect besides maybe design which is purely subjective, remember a drunk guy once crashed into the Tumbler because he thought it was a spaceship.
delfra70 Agreed, plus you get the feeling the 89 batmobile could actually go into the streets and not instantly get spotted by everyone, not like the giant freaking tank we got in the dark knight.
I'm just amazed at the amount of attention to detail Hot Toys put into the making of this replica and also pretty all their merchandise they make. The high price almost justifies it in some ways but not quite.
Iv'e got one on order to arrive here in Australia. It's the most iconic vehicle in cinema history...and that's saying something. (special mention to The Millenium Falcon). Cheers from Down Under
I didn't know this at first, because I always thought it was Anton himself who actually designed the car, but the actual concept design was created by Julian Caldow. Not Anton. Julian was a part of Anton Furst's design team and apparently, he was the one who created the look of the iconic car which was approved, but was never credited by the masses. Anton was given full credit for it's design before he committed suicide. Reminds me of how how Bill Finger had much to do with the creation of Batman's design but Bob Kane always took 99.9% of creator credit. Or Stan Lee, being the most iconic creator of many of Marvel's character with almost no recognition given to the actual designer/creator, Jack "King" Kirby who worked side by side with him, when they BOTH came up with many of Marvel's creation. So yea. Julian Caldow. The artist behind the 89 Batmobile's design. 🎥
I bought the Michael Keaton version Batman & Batmobile from hot toys in 2015. I treasure it in my Batman figures collection. This version of the Batmobile is even cooler in person. Bryce Garrett.
John Carlos McMaster- Nice video!... I'm a big fan of Batman, as well--especially when it comes to the 'Batman Returns' movie, the 1989 'Batman' movie & the 'Batman Returns'/'Batman' Batmobile.
Hi. Some of your images have been used on a scam video by s9me jerks advertising this Batmobile for only $89....Not realising it was a highly detailed Hot Toys Batmobilr I got scammed. Thought you should know. Made me determined to get one, one day. Great video. Thank you.
It's a shame made of plastic it would be better if it's made of metal. However the 1989 batmobile is a Beatiful model. One the best I have ever seen. Asome model. The dital is truly amazing love the led lights it's a wicked model. The only model I have is the 1.43 scale of the 1989 batmobile. Your model the 1989 batmobile is truly amazing I love it.
For £449 I would want it made from metal not plastic the detail looks amazing for me personally the best batmobile ever , then the one from the dark knight
johnnn182 Totaly 100% agree with you, Batmobile 1989 - Keatons Car who made by Anton Furst is the best Batmobile ever made, I see the Thumbler & Ben Afleck Batmobile (looks like Predator face) I thing they are far away from the real Batmobile, in My opinion The Anton Furst Batmobile 1989 ist the only one real and fit to be called as the real Batmobile.
It's an awesome display piece, but just way too damn expensive IMO. Surprised Hot Toys haven't made a Batwing in that size yet either. Would probably cost even more too.
John Carlos McMaster- Nice video!... I'm a big fan of Batman, as well--especially when it comes to the 'Batman Returns' movie, the 1989 'Batman' movie & the 'Batman Returns'/'Batman' Batmobile. How, exactly did you get this & where did you find it?...
This seems a lot better than the back to the future delorean, i feel they cheaped out a bit with the delorean with the sticker licence plate and lack of nice lighting inside like the time circuits and all that. this dashboard has individual leds!
I absolutely LOVE the fine details on this model, HOWEVER the really disappointing thing is the mold or the bodywork looks off, from the rear wheel base (shown 7:30 which looks way too high) to the canopy and the lines (1:47) feel too straight.
ive seen a few different prices to the car here and there some just a bit over half the price , so the question im asking you may know is did they make replica's or should i say copy's of this car?
im not a fan of batman or anything but i think this batmobile is very cool and im building a model of it. and um.. what is that piston thingy at the middle front? yeah i know . it’s a newb question
Bat-daaaaaanceeee... Vicky Vale, Vicky Vale, likes Bat-maaaaaan, man you should put as bgm the batdance of prince, it really will enhace the atmosphere of your review.
It’s been said a Million Times already but...What the hell...
THE BEST BATMOBILE EVER!!!
This and the Tumbler are my favorite ones, but no Batmobile will beat this one!
I just put the re-issue on pre-order!!! I am in absolute happiness that this will be a part of my collection! I can't believe it! Stellar vid! Thank you!

I still rewatch the animated series , such a masterpiece, I watched it every day after school, my dad loved it as well.
My god that's beautiful. I absolutely adore the 1989 Batmobile and this is a dream model to own
pp
1989 Batmobile is still the best.
Can't be any better!
Before you keep denying the Tumbler is better in every aspect besides maybe design which is purely subjective, remember a drunk guy once crashed into the Tumbler because he thought it was a spaceship.
@dariusworld, soon to be closed World Tumbler is better.
The one from the 1966 series with the red stripes is the best looking imho;)

I love how the packaging comes with the shield from the movie😍
Hopefully we're getting a 2.0 soon. 🤞🏽 Especially the cockpit details and lighting. still amazing.
allways been my favourite batman car.
it keeps the "gothic look"
Can't be any better!
Best version of the Batmobile ever, love the '89 Batmobile. Very cool and detailed review, looking forward to getting mine later this month.
delfra70 Agreed, plus you get the feeling the 89 batmobile could actually go into the streets and not instantly get spotted by everyone, not like the giant freaking tank we got in the dark knight.
@@grantkelly8696 I'm pretty sure everyone could instantly spot the Keaton Batmobile too. It's not goddamn invisible.
This is what I like to see a girlfriend or wife helping out with the unboxing/review. Great review and great video quality. Thank you.

The amount of details hot toys put into this batmobile is fantastic.
It's 33 years old now but Anton Furst's Batmobile design is still the greatest.

best batmoile ever made
This toy of the batmobile is definitely huge and I love it, I hope it will happen again with the batmobile from batman forever.
I bought the Michael Keaton version Batman & Batmobile from hot toys in 2015.
I treasure it in my Batman figures collection.
This version of the Batmobile is even cooler in person.
Bryce Garrett.
That is classy as ****! The 80's one kicks the arse of the later model no doubt.
Best batmobile ever
Love this batmobile. Still the best looking one. The tumbler is the only thing I hate about Nolans trilogy
It just could´t be more impressive, the most beautiful Batmobile ever (to my taste). WAITING FOR THE BATWING ON THE SAME SCALE!
Jazzinc dioramas are doing the 89 Batwing.
thanks alot man for reviewing , i freakin love keatons batman and his batmobile is the best,
what a fantastic display piece, so beautiful. made from metal few people would be able to afford this, lol.
Just order one right know can wait to get in my garage look amazing
John Carlos McMaster- Nice video!...
I'm a big fan of Batman, as well--especially when it comes to the 'Batman Returns' movie, the 1989 'Batman' movie & the 'Batman Returns'/'Batman' Batmobile.
My favorite batman film, somewhere between reality and fantasy
Best Batmobile ever.
Dude your Batmobile 1989 is totally awesome and very cool !
Arief Makmur Yeah but i think its huge i prefer 1/18 , 1/15 scale... :(
+JJOOKER there is a 1/15 scale?
***** Nope but the standard measure for these models is 1/18 ,1/15 compared with other sizes you find way more quality figures with these sizes...
JJOOKER ahh Im used to autoart and kyosho diecast which are 1/18
Es y seguira siendo el mejor Batimóvil
I want this so bad! Best bat mobile ever.
Impresionante! Qué hermosura! Saludos desde Argentina
Thanks for this wonderful review! I’ve never had the balls to open mine…. I still have it in the packing box.
Amazing Batmobile with batteries and it so big
"Shields......plonk!" LOL!!! Love it!! Great overview :)
Bad ass! Love this batmobile along with the animated series one.
Hi. Some of your images have been used on a scam video by s9me jerks advertising this Batmobile for only $89....Not realising it was a highly detailed Hot Toys Batmobilr I got scammed.
Thought you should know.
Made me determined to get one, one day.

batmobile is an epic piece of art! congratulations
It's a shame made of plastic it would be better if it's made of metal. However the 1989 batmobile is a Beatiful model. One the best I have ever seen. Asome model. johnnn182 Totaly 100% agree with you, Batmobile 1989 - Keatons Car who made by Anton Furst is the best Batmobile ever made, I see the Thumbler & Ben Afleck Batmobile (looks like Predator face) I thing they are far away from the real Batmobile, in My opinion The Anton Furst Batmobile 1989 ist the only one real and fit to be called as the real Batmobile.
You'd think it was RC for that much
I'm getting mine in a week! Still can't and won't believe it until she's here
There is a lot of amazing detail on this "toy."
That's not a toy it's a collectable masterpiece
It looks awesome.
This version of the batmobile is the best if you agree hit like
i have the original 1, manufactured in 1989 by advance engineering for richman toys. still looks good
It's an awesome display piece, but just way too damn expensive IMO. Surprised Hot Toys haven't made a Batwing in that size yet either. Would probably cost even more too.
Inside the batmobile does the gauges look real or there just stickers? Cuz it looks WAAYY too realistic to me.
Excellent review! Thanks for sharing.
Wow! It looks awesome! I am so jealous : ) One question: Does the Batman figure come with the Batmobile or did you buy the figure separately?
D N separately
Im in love with this toy!!! holt crap batman i need this one!!!!
I loved it alot like big time ,I have the rich man toys one ,and it's prity cool
This seems a lot better than the back to the future delorean, i feel they cheaped out a bit with the delorean with the sticker licence plate and lack of nice lighting inside like the time circuits and all that. this dashboard has individual leds!
Your reviews are alot better. Then others
Bro coolest batmobile I've seen, where can I order one? And how much?
no script, I just wing it and try to keep it concise.
Where can I buy one?
How much and where can I purchase. See many sites do not seem trustworthy.
Say john I dig the video bro 2 questions have they came out with the 89 batwing & where did you get your shelves at with all your figures at ?
LOL! Loved the ending. :))
I absolutely LOVE the fine details on this model, HOWEVER the really disappointing thing is the mold or the bodywork looks off, from the rear wheel base (shown 7:30 which looks way too high) to the canopy and the lines (1:47) feel too straight.
Blah blah blah
ive seen a few different prices to the car here and there some just a bit over half the price , so the question im asking you may know is did they make replica's or should i say copy's of this car?
Hi... you can say me how much is it this car more o less...???? Please.
can i say that i enjoy your reviews...just simple and to the point-do you write a script or alot of cut and takes?
how about they make the catmobile for catwoman
The lights in the cock pit look really good!!
Batmobile sounds legit but what is tumbler? is that even from batman or Chris Nolan made that up
im not a fan of batman or anything but i think this batmobile is very cool and im building a model of it. and um.. what is that piston thingy at the middle front?
yeah i know . it’s a newb question
Whý is always made( even with it costing this much) with bright silver rims? There were a smoked grey in the movie.
Love this trailer
Very nice...
Great review!!!!
All that detail and they didn't paint the wheels all the way black. Still pretty nice!
Great video, thanks for sharing !!
Great review. This car is big. Is it also really heavy?
Bat-daaaaaanceeee... Vicky Vale, Vicky Vale, likes Bat-maaaaaan, man you should put as bgm the batdance of prince, it really will enhace the atmosphere of your review.
Nice toy
People's asking price for these on eBay are gradually going down because they are ...
JUST SO DAMNED BIG !!!
It would be perfect if they also made one in 1/12. More details than the (excellent) 1/18, and less huge and expensive than this one.
You need a small figure of batman to have it fit in the batmobile.
Now thats incredible! How can I buy this Batmobile toy? :D
Eventually, I will get one.
I dig it
Want that so bad but even if I could get it, need a small garage to park it in.
esse batmovel eo mais bonito de todos
Do they do a version of the 1960's Batmobile ?
Hello. Where can i find either batmobile the 1989 or 2005? Thanks
Can I ask how much does one of these cost? Are they still available in 2019?
It was discontinued years ago. It originally cost $629.99 plus shipping. Now it's around $1,100 used and $1,500 new.
Badass!!! 😯I want one...😫
how much it costs?
Awesome
The hulk fits in your batmobile
Love it
Wow that is great
nice👏👏👏
Really disapointed that you didn't put batman there
Dear santa.
I want batmobile 1989 for this christmas.
It costs $1200~1400 on ebay though.
awesome
Amazing . How much did that cost ?.
